that's the best way to describe Speakerboxx, and why I love it so much. Big Boi didn't even break a sweat rapping on all of the album's unorthodox beats
When he kicked the box at 2:54 I straight up lost it haha!! Man do I miss outkast. People may enjoy what's played in Atlanta today but I swear if this group got back together for one final album they would kill all the hype a person like young thug may have now.
The perfect song. The 808 ATL bass boomin, Andre 3000 with the funk ism's, auntie Patti with the heavenly vocals and Big Boi with the relentless incomparable double-time flow!
Him and Ms. Patties scene gets me all the time lol! Their scene was the only one with no drama. That’s the real world for you n customer service. You have your delightful customers and you’re not so delightful ones 😂.
It's their songs like Ghettomusick, B.o.B, and Synthesizer that truly show the way in which two dope boys in a Cadillac are truly on a whole other level when it comes to that chonky stanky ass Southern Hip-Hop. Nobody was doing it like they did it, nor can anyone deny their southern charm.

Maybe so but remember the Packages you send out and deliver keep people in Jobs, Deals, and so many other factors. You are contributing to our Corporate Economy. Don't forget that.
NBA Live 04 came out only a couple weeks after this album did, and this didn't become an official radio single until a year later. So I think remembering it that game is valid
+Bruce Kent The Graduate Part always got me. Several Years ago some Friends and I had a Blaxploitation Film Festival, we ordered some Pizza and when the Delivery Man came to the Door and Saw Twelve People he almost passed out.
When I first heard footwork/160 i thought oh wait, i've heard that sound before in an old Outkast record. I'm lucky enough to have seen RP Boo @ his first gig in a lil old country here in the South Pacific. Love this jam!!!💯
Love Below will always be the more commercially acclaimed part of this album but SpeakerBoxxx was a classic in its own right. Best double album of all time
God damn, it's easy to forget how experimental could get. This came out during the height of their popularity and sounded like nothing else on the radio.
People say wanye was the biggest influence for my generation but listing to OutKast catalog I can they prob had just as big of a influence on our generation as wanye I can hear it in people like Tyler the creator asap rocky and Kendrick music fasho 💯

Patti Labelle is the goat

Right! My favorite part!
They made a exerted version of that beat with that hook the song is .......... tum tum - feeling good
That Patti LaBelle could have made a separate song. That breakdown is so smooth
do you not realize that thats an actual song of hers?
Sabrina Offord no he meant the way they used the sample could be a seperate song with outkast rapping on it lol

Hardly anybody talks about the Speakerboxx side of this double album, because of how great The Love Below was . . but this shit goes hard as hell.
Speakerboxxx was full of awesome bops hits, while The Love Below was unmatched in creativity and great writing. Both deserve their respect
only you don't talk about it
Speakerboxx had a lot more bangers, to me. I could listen to every song. Love Below had classics, but I skip through half of it. Almost like they just let Andre play so they could finally put out this album.
Who are the people you talking to? The people I know always talks about Speakerboxxx and not The Love Below.
Indeed. Great album. I think "Tomb of the Boom" is my favorite track.
It is impossible to fully describe how brilliant this song is. All over the place, yet not a wasted move. That is the sign of top-tier art.

The beat switch up always makes me happy, so melodic and sweet with patti's vocals in the mix.
The part at the end of video with Pattie La Belle is just bad ass.. You can hear pure soul in her voice..This song will never get old
OutKast were way ahead of their time. I think if they came back and did an album in 2014 it would be great.
YES! And it would sound like an album from the year 2030. Cuz this song sounds like next year lol.
Just.So.True.
I miss having a big music revelation every now and then
either amazing or very disappointing because of the impossibly high standard they have established
I love outkast, but really hope they won't release another album. It's hard to match their old stuff, just look at eminem, jay-z, dre etc..
didn't they reunite?
There will probably never be music as smooth and creative as this again. Plus they had Patti Labelle in it. Instant classic.
