Love this channel...can smell the fresh air coming through me screen. A quick look around a beautiful place, bit of history, talented storyteller/poetry reciter and the exquisite Molly for scale 🙂💙🤍💙
What a fantastic video brings back a lot of memories been there all of it been to the bridge and kirk day and night both made my hairs stand up (at night ) that's a story in itself
Just found your video. Loved it. Will not visit Scotland again so videos like yours are so special for me. My Dad was born in Cumbuslang but immigrated as a young lad to Canada so his dad could work in the coal mines in Alberta. So proud of my heritage. Looking forward to more of your videos and seeing your Molly too.
My family lore says that Robert Young Ist (I am the Vth) owned a farm next to the Burns family's in the mid-1800s. Decades after Robert B. himself of course. Robert II emigrated to America, from whom I am descended. A relative visited some years ago, and found a pile of stones from a collapsed cottage there. Word had it that someone had bought the property, was going to clear all that out and build a new house. No idea how much of this is true, but Scots runs strong in my heritage via Youngs, Gillespies & further back, MacPhersons. Thanks for a lovely tour of Burnsiana!
