I tried the jbl setup and honestly regret it. The bass and sound was way better with the stock speakers that came with car. The jbl did sound more crisp but barely have any bass and the dash speakers are crackling the whole time. Gonna switch it back this coming week and thought I’d let y’all know incase you were wanting to try it
This is awesome. I recently bought a2023 hybrid XSE at a deal and never bothered to test out the audio. When I drove out and put my music I realize the audio was trash. This video will help me decide what new speakers I should get thanks a lot.
Did the same thing with these jbl speakers … they sound like crap… There is no bass stock speakers are louder and cleaner sound. If you term these up past 30 on the volume they crackle FYI

Hello, you changed tweters with coaxial?
If you give those rear door speaker wire adapers a little squeeze on the sides, the plastic temporarily deforms enough that you can force the big one through on the Metra speaker adapter, without drilling it.
I did the same thing same speakers just not the front doors yet. But Did you or will you replace the subwoofer in back dash too?! Did you amp up the aftermarket jbl's or just keep them on factory amp? I have same car trying to get my sounds right too
