I’m super glad I found this video. I have made my decision(s). Well informed and the listener was given info in any easy manner. Thx!
This video was super helpful and put together very well. I appreciate all the work you put in behind the scene to set everything up!
Thank you!! Yes this video took many hours behind the scene to get right. I’m glad our efforts are appreciated!!
This is hands down the best complete review, testing, and without bias. Awesome review!! Subscribed
Great video! Thank you for sharing with us. I like all of the brands you showcased, and was impressed with your demonstration. Nice work.
Thanks!!!
The test sounded better on my phone than on my stock 2022 Bronco stereo system. Which is why I'm researching new speakers.
Thanks for your video. Subbed.
Thank you for making a perfectly fair video! All great brands! Think I'm looking into the Memphis Audio 5.25 for the rear filler in my Sierra
Excellent test performed. Very informative thanks for making this
DUDE! Thanks for this video.....RIGHT ON TIME.
I'm glad I bought 4 kickers. Your one speaker sounds better than all 4 of my stock speakers
Great list of affordable speakers that deliver great sound! Co-ax cables are a smart choice for connecting multiple devices. Highly recommend checking out these options for your next speaker purchase. 😊🔉
This is the proper way to demo speakers. I just watched another channel where they were held free-air on a table.
Thank you
Great list! These speakers are perfect for anyone looking for high-quality sound at an affordable price. The co-axial design is also convenient for those who want to easily move their speakers around. Thanks for sharing this information! 📹🔉 #speakers #affordablespeakers #coaxialdesign
These videos are so well done. Thank you
Holyyy dude, great Video. We really need more of these easy to understand - indepth content on here.
Keep it up !
This is by far the most credible, educational, scientific, informational, real to life scenario and detailed review I've seen so far. And I have been through a lot of these over the past couple of months. You guys made a trustworthy and informational video that has won my thumbs up, and subscribed. Thank you for making this video in the way that you did.
Great clear speaking video!!
Great idea! Using old car speakers to create a unique and functional piece of furniture like a bookshelf is definitely a creative way to repurpose items that would otherwise be thrown away. The fact that these speakers can produce such deep bass notes at only 10 watts each makes them even more impressive. Keep up the great work! 👍
This video is outstanding. I love the totally non biased approach, and the fully detailed in depth review is much appreciated.
Thanks 🙏🏻
yes what he said
I agree now please give me 2 sets of the BLAM components. Thanks!!!!
I agree with this 100% Prob the best speaker demo video I have ever seen on YT.
@@johncortez1599 easily. The "under $200" vid is AMAZING.
AMAZING VIDEO!!! Thank you!! this provided me alot of value!
We appreciate it!! Takes a lot to put these comparison videos together. Glad it provided you value.
I've been wanting videos like this forever, so bad that I was about to do it myself, thanks for this.
Do some higher end stuff? I can submit some samples of some DLS and morel
Excellent video thanks to it I decided between the Kicker speakers and the memphis speakers and for obvious reasons I bought memphis
I have all ways been a big fan of the Alpine s type. Sound great with out an amp.
Man i love the way you explain things, no bs, u a true g
Thanks my dude! I appreciate that!
good fair review, no amazon shortcuts.
Holy crap, I never understood why adding an amp to your car speakers was important until watching this video. Wow wow wow thanks!
Bass frequencies take TONS more power to drive than higher frequencies. So if you replace your factory speakers without adding an amp and notice that the lows aren't really that much better then that is why.
A Great review, done right! Someone please tell other reviewers that you can't hold a speaker in your hand and test sound....
I run the JBL concert series with the +2 on the crossover off on a skar RP-150.4AB | 1,000 WATT 4-CHANNEL And I love them! Test Those out next!
the best testing video on yt right now
Yeah. Thanks man!
THIs is how comparizing should be.. thx, i will follow this channel
Thanks, good reviews
Yooo Josh this was great. Do the next level of speaker bro💯💯💯
Thanks man. I’m working on the script right now! Any speakers you’d like to see at the $200 level?

If you're taking suggestions, I'd like to see a 6x9 comparison:
Alpine R-S69.2 ($219) (must be the .2 version!)
Focal RCX-690 ($180)
Infinity KAPPA-93iX ($176)
JBL GTO939 ($135)
Rockford Fosgate P1694 ($120)
Could also be seen as a "justification for the price"-kind of comparison as well.

I have the alpines i love them sound great
Nice video man perfect.
I think the Alpine are perfect
Thanks 🙏🏻 thanks 🙏🏻
My personal favorite as a installer is the alpine type s
I have the Kicker DS series in my 2020 Tacoma. I pulled the factory ones out with in the first month. I really wanted Alpine or the CS series kicker speakers but those were out of stock at the time all over. So far I'm fairly happy with them and the factory radio driving them. I like how Toyota put a 6x9 in the front door and an oversize 6.75 in the back doors. Feels like more of the bass and sound is up front than my Liberty CRD. I think the Kickers are a good deal for the price but wow the Memphis seems to be a little better. Never heard of that brand before.
Memphis is used alot in top car stereo competition
Thanks for the video, especially for us people on a budget. Aother speaker to consider is Polk DB+ marine quality speakers. On paper they go down to 40 Hz. And are a solid speaker since they are marine quality. I tend to like silk dome tweeters, but some titanium tweeters (JBL) can be good too. And the JBL would be my pick out of the list.
Polk at $55 is a top contender
Have the alpines myself and love them. I found out that the tweeters do move, but when you move them you break the electrical connection. Tried twice same result. Had to go buy another pair and leave the tweeter alone, no problems.
Thank you for your video and the comments are very helpful
Am Using alpine 660e HU
Alpine PWE s 800 Active subwoofer
S 65 c and co axial
After seeing the suggestions in comments Now going to Adding S 32 F
Loved your video from India
Nice review!
Remember people they maybe tested at whatever you put through it. but do remember RMS all speakers have different ratings. As he mentioned sensitivity has quite a bit to do with it as well... not to forget to mention the frequency they are crossed over at.... more to it... but a good video as far as covering what to get for your money....
I had installed 4x alpine s series to my car without amp and subwoofer. I actually enjoyed it it is good enough for me for now. My carplay devices is grundig gx 3800 (there are same variants with jvc and kenwood with grundig ) thank you for this video it was wonderful to see the test result.👍🏻
No problem. Good to hear you’re enjoying those speakers. Alpine does make great product. I’d recommend adding the Alpine S-A32F to get the full potential out of those speakers. Thanks for the comment !
@@BreakersStereo thank you very much for advice. I will check it out.
@@BreakersStereo what if I want it to add a subwoofer with it? İt has 4 channel so is it supports subwoofer as well? Or should I get s-a55v?
@@fatihorkunss you can use 2 channels for speakers and 2channels bridged together for the sub
which s series you take, is it s65 or s65c or s50. im actually thinking of taking alpine s-s65 without amp for my car, with cheap android player that supp only 55 watt
Awesome test
Amazing video
What a great job 👏
🙏🏻 thanks!
Thats a great video!! I would love to see one with low cost 6.5 components in same price range
There's not too many components speakers at $100. And I don't think they would be that good if there is. But I wanna see a components video for sure
I have two 12in skar audio subs and I use the kicker comp cs 6x8s in my doors and rear in my mustang I lovem
Thanks amazing video.
Very helpful nice 👍
I got those kickers in my ute powered by a 20 year old Sony xplod amp. Good speakers imo.
Outstanding!
I installed 2 sets of Kicker CSC684s (front and back) in my truck last summer. I’ve got an aftermarket Pioneer head unit that’s been in it over 10 years, but they still sound pretty damn good. I’d like to install a powered subwoofer, but I don’t know how much longer I’ll keep this truck (although I’ve been shin that for years lol).
Go for it. Once you're ready to sell the truck, just take it out
i got some tx65s from skar for $60 and they’re pretty damn good
You speak like William Shatner as Captain Kirk. Good video!
I have the JBL's in my LaCrosse in the factory head unit and dammitman the GTO 629 sounds awesome deep bass no distortion smooth mids/highs along with the 609c comp set its musical magic
For this price range I keep hearing good things about the GTOs. Looks like I might be making that move lol
I got a pair if the power bass 3XL's silk dome tweeters they sound good clean crisp defend themselves against infinity tweeters are the best tweeters
Customer service is always a winner too
The powerbass sounds great
Man I don't know we're this video was but wow I need more detailed video like this
Got you my man!! Keep a look out we try to be as detailed as possible without being too much! Thanks for the comment
Jbls typically produce a pleasant amount of bass response. However if the door isn't treated properly in the first place you're going to lack bass response no matter what speaker you buy.
Absolutely well said ! Most matting material works well just get some in the door!
@@BreakersStereo what could I use? I'm thinking of upgrading mine but didn't know i could put stuff to help with the rattle which I currently get with my stock speakers
@@chrisguzman7926 dynamat
@@benjamindover5262 do not use dynamat lol, it’s absurdly overpriced. I recently used amazon basic sound deadner with awesome results. It’s cheap af too.
@@raptor31ablehow can I find this on Amazon? Is it just foam deadner, or is it an off brand Dynamat?
Thanks for the video real good information would like to see the comparison to the Bose speaker
Thanks for the comment. In order to do that we would have to compare in the car. Maybe in the future. Thanks for the suggestion
I always go with Kickers. They aren't super expensive and they work great. I have 6.5 and 6x9 kickers in my cobalt ss with a rockford fosgate powered 12. I haven't put the powered sub in yet as I'm waiting till I put my boss 800 stereo in....probably today lol.
Cobalt SS? Lucky duck. I owned a 2010 Red Cobalt Sports Package for 7 yrs....great car (although I wish the MPG was alittle better...)
When I bought my cobalt SS the seller kept the amp
I always wanted a cobalt ss or a dodge spirit rt those cars fast as hell
Jbl perfect performans 🔥👍😎
I’ve just recently started to upgrade the factory speakers with the pioneer TSA 1680 which has a Continuous Power Handling (RMS)
80 Watts
Maximum Peak Power Handling
350 Watts and being someone with no experience with Car/ truck sound systems other than turning on the radio I’m learning as I go. The best sounding speakers out of the 5 speakers in this video to me was the MEMPHIS PRX 602. I was wondering if anyone has had the pioneer speakers I’ve got now, Pioneer TSA 1680 and how they feel about changing to the MEMPHIS PRX 602’s. Thanks and great video, very easy to follow
Im about to upgrade my speakers, is this still what's recommended? fits my budget... great video appreciate it
JBL sounds clean 🔥
I think I prefer them because it's so clean and balanced I like the tweeters
very good video
Thank you!!
Got a free science lesson... NICE
I'm running the jbls in my car and really like them
nice rewiew
Not sure if I'm hearing things, but all except the kicker seemed to have a weird thump on the low end. It was almost like they were extending below their actual reach, causing a lack of control. The Kicker on the other hand, having that inherit lower range, seemed to be comfortable in handling it. It could be just my imagination, but at least for the music choice, the Kicker handled it better and also sounded a little better overall
I personally like Rockville speakers and sub and amp and amp install kits
I got kicker cs amp 75 watts and they sound great 4 in the door 100 watt nominal 300 peak
Good day, very nice content. Can I ask what can you recommend for my car I just want to change the factory speaker on the door. But I will keep the old head unit. Without using amplifier and sub
I just had a stereo and speakers installed yesterday. So unhappy that i didnt go more powerful!
Those Powerbass speakers I think really sounded the best to me.
Yeah really good balance between the midbass and the treble
Agree
I have a Frankenstein setup. n I love it Pioneer H/u Alpine Amp Kicker Subs. I was looking at the ss65 alpine BESTBUY here I come
I'm tripping out that's exactly how I'm doing my girlfriends truck this week!!!? I'm putting in a Alpine MRX 1000 amp( had it sitting around for years now) along with two new kicker Comp r-10s and a pioneer head unit with four JBL 6.5 on a pioneer 4 chan I mean 30 years in car audio has shown me that's the way to go
Same.
Pioneer stereo
Deaf Bonce 6.5" mids, 3 pairs
Down4Sound 4 channel amp
CT sounds 4 channel amp
American Bass 15" subwoofer
I paid 20$ on mines and they are really great
Pioneer 280w
Thanks for this video, it is very helpful to me. I HAVE A TOYOTA COROLLA S 2013, did these speakers fit on my car? OR WISH ONE FITS?
I have the S-S65 and they are monsters and clear as hell! I don't have the absolute loudest system where I live-done of these guys have thrown SPL Systems- but I have the clearest, according to my neighbors.
You better throw Skar and Audio Legion in that line up! Recoil makes a budget gem too!
Skar really doesnt make any coaxials that sound good. The TX line of coaxials offer plenty of bass but midrange isnt there
The challenge for good quality sound will come down to the Tweeter reproduction and the overall balance in off axis responce placed low on doors.
Off axis response? Can you elaborate on that? You mean mid speakers?
That tweeter on the JBL sounded very crisp... But the Alpine had a fuller sound. I can't decide between the two.
Fuller sound is always more pleasurable.
Alpine and JBL sounds best for me :)
Thank you… All 6.5” challenge. alpine 2 way coaxial S series vs fosgate coaxial 2 way vs the JBL coaxial you just had on here. They are all at $100 price point.
I’ve always went with Fosgate bcs it does so well with heavy metal music as apposed to “rock” which is good for tuning your system if you listen to instruments made music. My alpine s series do well with techno and rock but heavy metal sounds distorted earlier than rock. Techno plays loudest with least distortion. Those JBL came in how I like to hear them so that’s why I want to see this showdown!!!!
Thanks for the comment we appreciate your point of view. It really helps us and others hear what people have to say. Thanks again!!
good review, there is just one missing, focal auditor 13cm coaxials. 90 db 50 w rms.5" .
... thanks for the video.
Yes that would have been a good addition..one problem I can only juggle 5 speakers at a time lol!
How do these stack up in rock music? What qualities should one look out for when shopping?
Appreciate the info btw !
Hi Josh thank you for information i learned a lot. Please give me a feed back which speaker is better between Rockford RF P1675-S vs Morel Maximo Ultra 602 MKII, i want to change my stock speakers. Thanks
What would be good for a Chevy Cruze? Great vid btw.
Do a review on the black diamond dia-65.2 next
Very nice comparison. So without an amp between alpine, jbl, kicker, whιch one has the most strong/deep bass.Highs for me is the alpine because i like soft/smooth highs. Also the jbl from the factory the tweeter is at 0 db and if you push that button becomes more brighter +3db?So you can't soft the highs more if they are harsh for you at o db. Am i correct? If you run 3 ohm speakers like jbl versus 4 ohm alpine,is it more dificult for the head unit to drive-overheat? (I have alpine cde-9880r and i don't have external amp).Jbl gto are better from club 622?
Alpines always sound more cleaner an are the best 😎
Wondering if the Aplines are going to fit my 2012 Nissan Altima. I'm about to order them.
Can you do a 2 ohm speaker review? I am looking to replace the speakers in my 2010 kia soul, which runs @ 2 ohms and are component with tweeters on the dash. It also has 2 more in the rear doors, a 4" centered in the dash and an 8" sub in the rear quarter panel. All powered with factory Amp (never laid eyes on it, but seen pictures).
Looking to do a general upgrade without breaking the bank, I just don't know what to do
There’s no correlation between bass range spl and speaker sensitivity. If you hear a difference, it’s probably because you set the tweeter to +3 db. Sensitivity is a measurement like you explained. Individual speakers are manufactured differently. That’s what causes a difference in bass response.
had memphis pr they where good but after a year the sound like they where blown had to mess with the cross over lower the bass on them
I have a touring motorcycle. It has 2 5.25 in front and rear. The radio puts out 25w per channel. I do get tweeter fatigue in the rear. What would you recommend? I would like a no tweeter in rear. Right now I have polk 5.25 on all 4.
For the kicker CS Is the sound quality much better when amped? It’s just hard to tell on the video and I’m on the fence for wether or not I should amp mine. I have a separate sub so the bass is handled but would an amp for the speakers still be necessary for sound quality purposes?
Should I go with these coax or component speakers with separate tweeters? Not sure these coaxes can handle the pressure if the volume is cranked a little, using an amplifier
I love BOSS they are cheap and great for the price
Can you talk about 6.5 midranges. Rockford, hertz, apocalypse, etc.
