  • In this video I'm installing new headlights from AEM Tuners (Now INVOKE Concepts). The headlights are quite nice looking, but, so far, not a great experience. AEM Tuners doesn't technically exist anymore so we'll see if they offer warranty.
    Hope you guys enjoy!!

    You need to check your Turn signal wire connection to the headlight Pigtail connector. Alot of the time, when you forcibly disconnect the headlight connectors, if you pull too hard or pull incorrectly, you will actually snap wires or damage wires. You have to recheck them especially since you have DRLs and tapped into the turn signal wire. Also check ground wire connection. Hope this helps

    I got the rear taillights from TT-ABC, which is UQZ from eBay, and after about a week, the lights randomly turn to blue when they go on, once it gets dark outside. They were responding to me during the 30-day return window, but now, they ignore me. I wrote to them on eBay but haven't received a response. One guy on RUclips warned me about TT-ABC, but you know how it is. I thought maybe they just want to mess up their business. They were right about them.

      @@MambaSS, I still didn't buy the lights 😂😂. Have you fixed the issue?

    I went through a couple different sets of non factory head lights. Even though they look better especially the 2nd set. They just all perform like crap when you drive down the road. A bulb burns out and I had to take of the whole bumper and take out the head light assembly to get a new bulb in place. Absolutely ridiculous! Just don't do the job I need it to as did the factory set. Recently I installed the factory set and have had no issues sense. I just plan to polish them once a year and wax them every few months to help keep them from getting sun damage.
    The 1st set was total crap. On both sets I did have areas driving down the road that just had these goofy dark spots and neither did a very good job. Factory may not look the best on the outside, but they are the best for doing the job headlights need to do.
    Also, taking the bumper off and getting everything on right is a pain in the ass. On my 16 Toyota Camry Hybrid there are literally plastic screws in the wheel bay and they are at least $10 bucks a piece and they never ever come out right if you have to take the bumper off for any reason like having to replace headlights because my 2nd set although it looked good, there was no fucking way to replace a burned bulb without taking apart the whole damn bumper.

    These headlights make the camry more aesthethic but i was really hoping youd cover its functionality as well. How are the projection beams? Are they brighter? Are the lines straight or angled? Are they sharper? I hate the stock led cutoffs bc they are angled so terribly and it doesnt allow them to be horizontally adjusted. Any chance you can show us the projection?

    • @MambaSS
      @MambaSS  3 месяца назад +1

      They are triple beam projectors I believe, they are definitely brighter but nothing crazy bright. Lines are a bit angled, and lighting has way better definition (sharper). I’ll probably do an update on the lights here soon.

    I just installed the triple beam on my 24 trd. Took off the bumper 3 times to bc i put it back on wrong 3 times. Anyways, now i have the dreaded "!" With a triangle. The add a fuse was bulky and rugged.i don't know if i put it in the right spot. Found people with same issue but no solotion. Damn i just wished they worked with no issue.

      @@MambaSS since I've never installed, I figured it was my error but since it's 2024 or whatever the system is reading something other than OEM. Today is the last day to return. On my 1st set I had freaking hair inside my new headlight assembly's. You could tell it was from the glue on the covers they used to keep things out didn't do a good job and the glue vapors stuck to the inside of the headlight assembly.

    • @MambaSS
      @MambaSS  7 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks! It’s actually a super simple set up. They are just Tesla model 3 wheels (Aero wheels, you can get them pretty cheap) and then I got some 5mm spacers to make them sit pretty much perfect. And the springs are Eibach pro springs, makes for the perfect drop and I don’t scrape on ANYTHING!

      @MambaSS  7 месяцев назад +1

      @@sethmacias8703 yeah they are 18x8.5, so they are a half inch wider than the stock wheels and they’re actually a lot lighter too, for me it’s been the perfect set up!

      For your drop springs. Did you add any camber or tow kit or yours been riding fine without it? Also are you on factory struts? I wanted to go a simple route. I only did a 5% tint on my 2020 camry & Upgraded sound system. Then probably just go on springs on stock tires.
