At 2:44 I said that Beetham Tower was in Birmingham when in actual fact, it is in Manchester. I am so sorry for this mistake and I hope we can move on from this. The point about buying my merch still stands though memeulous.shop

poor behaviour from you George
Im from Birmingham shut up or i will call ksi again
I'm from Scotland so I don't know anything about it.
I’m so sorry to hear that George is struggling with this, I hope he can get therapy so that one day he may look at his mum again :(
HAHA
the first half was me think you care until i read the end 😂
😂😂😂
💀💀💀💀
brutal
George screaming at the Gromit bearbrick while aggresively pointing at it Made my day
IT is weird indeed. Everywhere I comment, people tell me how much they love me and my content. Sometimes IT is annoying. But right now, IT would be okay. So say something nice about my content, dear big
@@AxxLAfriku no thanks
George: you are very big, you scare me, I have to hide you so I can get to sleep you scary scary dog!
I want a memeulous vs Gromit fight
I really didn’t think about how short George really is until now
nono George is massive, the 'thing' is 10 feet
🤣🤣
@@moffitron5727 lol

The really unsettling things are when an item is a lot bigger than expected, and the picture is taken from how you'd see it in real life. Like over sized road side attractions, where it's a giant version of a normal sized thing and you're right by it. It's just unnatural and thus can be even horrifying
Some of these are also more liminal, which summed up is an unsettling image implying human existence. Like, hit building and structures with no humans around, a sense of nothingness and not knowing what it's supposed to be. The two gl hand in hand in a way when done right.
its not majorly unsettling but seeing those roadside motorway sings up close realizing there about 5x bugger than they appear when going past them at 70+ mph
Like inflatables, life-sized dolls and statues of animals, I’ve never really met anyone else who has that type of megalophobia
It's got to be those whole body costumes of kids cartoon characters for me, 7ft tall telletubbie? No thanks 😂
Ooh Big Road ooh
900th like
You hit the nail on the head George, this is definitely scarier when you're expecting something to be smaller than just something that's big anyways. Especially those statues are fucking eerie.
6:13 - As you said, our Sun is never going Supernova because it simply doesn't have enough mass to do so - it's not heavy enough. If by some miracle of physics it DID go Supernova, that render is STILL not what it would look like from Earth. The Sun would start to shrink down and then swell back up again in a rythmic way, each time getting brighter and brighter and turning from the orange glow we know to blue and finally the brightest white you can possibly imagine as the Sun got hotter and hotter (it wouldn't turn red like the video, because contrary to every graphic and colours on our taps red is NOT hotter than blue, it's the other way round). The pulsations in and out would get more and more rapid as it changed colour and then in one instant it would explode. In less than a second, what was once the surface (and entire inner contents) of our Sun will be all the way out as far as Saturns orbit. One second you'd be standing on Earth watching the sun change colour and the next second both you and the entire planet would be particles of dust and atoms flying past Saturn - which also wouldn't last much longer after your dust got there - towards the outer edge of the Solar System.
There's a reason why, outside of two neutron stars colliding and imploding into a black hole (which we recently discovered actually SHAKES THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE FOR A FEW SECONDS!), a Supernova is THE biggest explosion in the entire UNIVERSE. It's insane just how rapid the explosion is and how much energy is involved.
Yeah I watched a 30 minute video where it said the sun would be getting smaller for thousands of years and then it would eventually get massive and go boom
thanks for that david

this is so cool tysm for sharing !!
Jumping off of this, have you ever considered looking into thalassophobia? It's a fear of deep water and the subreddit has some really cool and unsettling photos/videos.
Don’t jump off of these things you might get hurt
I have both megalophobia and thalassophobia 💀
Nah I got that fuck off
@@isaaclcfc7361 lol like what the??? Isn’t that basically just high things so fear of heights basically the same thing also maybe not cuz like volcanos and high into low water.
Yeah no thanks mate
George being so strung on real and unreal videos Definitely means he's the type to get scared from paranormal activity
Watch his ghost caught on camera videos, he gets creeped by some of them
George: Beetham Tower? Ew that’s in Birmingham
Manchester: Am I a joke to you?
The real reason why the tower hums is because of the fins mounted on the top
Thought so
My grandad put the things on the top its something to do w wind i think he said
I don't think George knows the point of the subreddit if he's just looking for cool big stuff
2:30 I actually find this kind of architecture strangely appealing, I think it’s the utility rather than the appearance that I enjoy
But so did the meat worm
@@smeggiamagarwine ironic to say with that profile picture, that’s a cursed jerma right there
Yeah, this is what the future is like in my mind, where every thing is uniform and people live their lives productively. There’s something so satisfying to the efficiency of it all, but then again as someone who lives in the English countryside it is also my worst nightmare.
As a Manc, George thinking that Beetham Tower is in Birmingham has riled me up
Had to come looking for this comment!
I have memeulophobia, a fear of small things
George really just confused Manchester with Birmingham
I don't think George understands how phobias work
George the entire video: “It’s not real”
Also George: “I can’t sleep in here with it in here (Wallace and Gromit Lego the height of his lower legs)
Gromit is just terrifying in general
As a megalophobe, Life at home must have been so hard for George
Having to cower in fear everytime your own mother walks in the room, tragic
Damn you killled him
Phobias don't have to make sense or have real possible scenarios, that's kinda how some phobias work tbh.
Imagine sitting on that ledge and feeling the wind trying to push you off but everything is so big and its hard to find anything to hold onto, that's a big factor in this specific fear.
You should carry on doing phobia videos like this, like phobia of ………. not like just plain horror, just horrors like that, which potentially could be a lil scary, but not that scary
Mate the joy I felt when this popped up in my notifications is unrivalled
i love how george is so genuinely mad at some of these 😭😭
Can we appreciate George for his uploads recently
Idk if this is megalaphobic but one picture that always fucks with me is the picture taken by the space satellite voyager one. Its an almost completely black picture, except in a light ray there's a little tiny dot which is Earth. The photo is called Pale Blue Dot and Carl Sagan has a very interesting quote about it.
"Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam."
I was just frozen in fear for this entire video, I have both megalophobia and thalassophobia especially when it comes to massive ships, waves the ocean in general 💀 but honestly anything massive terrifies me
Massive ships would come under submechanophobia
George using Yankee candles to prop up the EBoys skateboard is genius
this explains why james is so horrifying 😟😰
7:26 “Show me some massive dinosaurs or massive sharks.”
*scrolls past an image of Godzilla underwater*
It's not real
@@Isniffyourtastytoesit would be scary if it was real but it’s not real!!
@@Jesse-vvv Ye but it’s easier to imagine it when it’s real
megalophobia is something I get every time I look down
2:47 that’s Manchester not Birmingham 😂
5:21 george becomes a birmingham native. he has become the one thing he swore he would destroy
Every time George says Megalaphobia, the megalovania song quietly starts playing at the back of my mind
Same
For something to invoke megalophobia it doesn’t have to be real. Personally I don’t really feel anything unless theres something for scale like a human or smthn. Stuff like massive sci fi structures and especially when they are just on their own really freaks me out
Super odd sci-fi question. Would, say for instance, a “small” spaceship in a show docking with a huge one trigger this fear?
@@oxfordisacoyote no I wouldn’t say so, I meant more like that sci fi structure that was in this video, not so much ships
“Wow! Wow! That is so scary! … You are all just pathetic!” Well done George, well done!
For some reason I watch these megalophobia images a lot because my dreams are similar to the pictures. Also the unnerving images with unnerving music. They have a weird but nostalgic vibe to them.
Gladly we have a host who wont scare people with Megalophobia
Schools open and it's shut but your making it better
Man.. if i had Megalophobia i would scare myself to death every time i look down, and if i was afraid of heights i would die when i stood up.
Big fan of you doing more out there subreddits.
George goes on a massive rant about how nothing good comes from Birmingham, meanwhile Beetham Tower sitting in the centre of Manchester lmao
legit, he can't even back up his bham hatred, kinda ironic lmao
The fact George brought a Gromit only to be terrified of its mere presence makes me chuckle.
Also that clock is the Saudi Clock from Mecca
George and gromit isnt the duo we wanted but the duo we needed
George was suffering of megalophobia. But so was the meat worm.
I liked this comment.
But so did the meat worm
The fact George said that beetham tower is in birmingham angers me
That underwater waterfall given me chills 🥶🥶🥶
i literally struggle with this daily george WHY
i always wondered why i was so terrified of George, now i know.
FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE WHO SUFFERS WITH THIS
I think that grommet should stay and that is a super star destroyer not a star destroyer
2:44 it’s not Birmingham it’s Manchester 😂don’t disrespect my hometown by calling it Birmingham George
@2:50 Beetham Tower is in central Manchester...it's an ugly piece of crap. The first time we had a bit of wind after it was built, all the laminate blew off the bullshit nonsense sticking out of the top of it and rained down on the roads and train line near it.
0:51 im laughing so muchhh
I got some megalophobia when I saw big George in the thumbnail so I knew this was gonna be a banger.
Thank you for putting the red arrow in the thumbnail I would've had no idea there was a person on that massive clock! 😀👍
6:58 “Light pollution” 🤣
???
I have that phobia where I’m terrified of man made objects in the ocean, so any large boats, bouys, chains, anchors, propellers, wreckages etc scare the shit out of me and I’ll have a panic attack. Which is weird considering I’ve been on sub marines and enjoyed snorkelling and scuba diving during my abroad beach holidays.
submechanophobia
My megalphobia is triggered by ships, tall buildings, bridges, mountains, google earth, earth pot holes, the ocean 😳😳 *makes me feel so unwell*
5:01 OMFG THAT'S FROM A TOWN 30MINS FROM ME HOLY FUCK. Okay, so this is in Australia, in a town known as Newcastle, the cargo ship got washed up onto the beach from a horrendous storm we had a few years ago, wind so powerful that it shook the ship off course into the beach, when the harbour entry about 100m or so to the ship's right, took over a week to remove it and it left a permanent change to the beach, a v-shape "dent". That building is quite an old one, these days it's mostly used as a place to change into your swim wear and it's where meetings/gatherings for swimming competitions occur. To give a perspective of distance, the back of the building to that ship i guess is around 100m, maybe slightly more, maybe slightly less.
From what i can remember no one was injured, no one was using the beach due to dangerous surf and the captain got to safety via helicopter.
George really is two Gromit tall 💀💀
new measure just dropped
These rapid uploads make a fella happy
If I had meglaphobia I would be absolutely terrified of george
i have megalophobia of you, big lad george memulous

0:58 love it lol
YESSS GROMIT'S SAT DOWN THANK YOU GEORGE
1:05 your super shotgun is nearby, a relic from your past
5:08 this is The Makkah Royal Clock Tower in Saudi Arabia
Some videos triggered my fear of heights and of course triggered my megalophobia too.
The moon and supernova sun got me. I don’t care if it’s not real and just animated. Space is terrifying
Megalophobia really shows up for me when I'm anywhere near a freaking wind turbine. They FREAK ME TF OUT.
I be getting vvv happy when I see hes uploaded
the supernova one is too funny because by the point in the video the river would've evaporated and you would be dead
Big vehicle's are the best ngl also that was a very quick outro mate
I think I used to have megalophobia when I was small. Things like big posters and projections and buildings gave me an uneasy feeling
I love it when your vids come out
Swear George sounds so northern at 5:20
Why am I watching this? No clue. Should I be watching this while I have megalophobia? Probably not- so far loving this video! 😁
Suprised George wasn’t on the Subreddit…
daily uploads wow epic
4:48 we have something like this in Brisbane ( suburb anyway) its called the Walter Taylor bridge and its actually kinda cool that people lived in it.
megalophobia is actually the fear of sans :trollge:
sounds like you're just racist
4:04 is horrifying I couldn’t imagine waking up seeing this everyday
4:00 imagine that statue being a weeping angel
2:29
This is either Balkans, Ex-Soviet or Russia. Heck, in Poland we've got stuff like this, albeit much smaller.
George: I hate Birmingham

the planet crashing one scared the shit otuta me >.>
I used to have a reacurring dream that the moon collided with earth, i remember waking up with that sinking feeling in my stomach afterwards
1:58 that's how big I'd expect a tornado to be
Even tho that's a small one 🤣
7:08
It would be so cool to have a planet near is or even a solar system, but we probably wouldn't exist if that would happen. Gravity would be kinda all over the place
I thought that this was the fear of Megalovania from Undertale xD
I have nightmares about planets being that close and they're terrifying
We are safe from megalaphobia on this channel.
Cos George is short :)
