Perfect video. If anyone has a problem where the eyes don't move with the head like in 20:57 , the problem is because the eyes have double parenting, select the left eye in object mode, go to "modifier properties" (blue wrench), you have "Armature" and "rig" modifier objects, remove the one with the "rig" modifier object, do the same to the right eye (teeth and tongue too if they are also problematic). Now both eyes work with the head movement and eye controller.

Hello. I did all the same steps as you but; When I pressed "genarete rig" at 16:33 no structure appeared on the skeleton we had created. A separate skeleton emerged. what is the reason of this?
@@vivekpanchal8920 Yes I did, I accidentally moved the head bone and spine bone in front view which caused the error. I did a new meta bone structure, and I only moved the bones from the side view to match my characters body. In front view if you move it slightly to the left or right then the generate button won't work
@@vivekpanchal8920 All the other bones in the face, hands, legs, ect your good, just the dead center of the bone structure you don't wanna mess with to much in the front view
This is the best metarig tutorial but I want to indicate something. If you seperate tshirt from body as a new mesh and parent the tshirt to rigify, you dont have to make extra weight paint arrangements.
I have a problem while generating the rig upper portion of the rig goes above from the head .It's not in line with the shoulder .can someone solve these problems?

Great and thorough tutorial. I weight-painted all of the bones in my character, but after I was done my metarig was split into separate controllers, not just one rig with selectable controls. Not sure what happened, but how do I get my metarig "whole" again, or if this has something to do with my bone layers. Help! Thanks.

Thanks man, you helped save my awful first and seconds attempts at rigging, third times a charm. Btw, is there any particular reason you make sure the bone joins are just popping out of the surface? Some other tutorials I've seen all say to keep the bones within the mesh itself.
Thanks for ur nice comment. As for ur question,it is really doesn't matter the joints whether pops out the mesh or in little bit.Just be sure the bone deform ur mesh correctly.

Can one use this procedure on a Daz Character. It would satisfy two worlds, a great character without the Daz character which is not so good. This is An excellent tutorial. The speech is clear the pace is good and has attention to detail. Many thanks will like and subscribe.

I couldn't understand what u mean exactly. But,you can not use rigify rig by adding your own armature. U need to use a human meta rig.

U can use the hotkey( ctrl +A ) to apply rotation and scale and try generating rig

in blender 4.0.0 now we have bone collections. If you need green bones, go down and turn on DEF.

how to you delete parts of the rig . i only need the face.
Go to edit mode,select the bones u want to delete,and press the delete key,choose the delete bones.

Tabiki bozulma olur.Her kemiğin isminde vertex group lar vardır. Yeni eklediğin kemik için bir group ataması olmadığı için hata verecektir.
