What I like about hello fresh is the fact that they don't seem to require the youtubers they sponsor to say very specific things like "the number on shopping tool in amercia" or "noise isolating fit." Remember that resting the meat can also cook it further, cooldown is therefore not a bad thing. You can rest the meat during slaps per cooldown session.

That guy who made the meat beater 9001 actually managed to successfully cooked a chicken the machine, after he modify it to be sturdier, the video is on his channel. So cooking a chicken just by slapping it is not just a theory anymore, it is completely practical.

The fact that you actually CAN slap a chicken into edible levels of cooked brings me more joy than it probably should. I understand the concept of the question, but I always assumed that it would never work in any practical way. That meatbeater machine is incredible, if unfortunately named lol. Edit: I didn't think of this until afterwards, but typically in cooking meats, a lower temperature over greater time ensures more juice in the meat while a higher heat over a shorter time results in a dryer meat (the same principle applies to baked goods, slower/lower gives a softer dough, higher and hotter is more crispy, because in both cases it's about water retention). Which means if Sonic cooks this chicken at lightning speed as he might, it would be the driest chicken ever consumed and frankly, idk if that's worth it.

Fun fact link actually doesn't stop time. When he does, it does show other enemies moving
Link doesn't outright stop time, he delays the trasnfer of energy to one specific object and time passes normal for everything else, as you see in the games, the trasfer still effects it just at delayed point.

i have a character that should be able to do it, Accelerator from "A Certain Magical Index" his ability is to control all vectors, meaning theoretically he could hit something at the perfect speed
He can do a style theory about what Sonic’s shoes are made of.
If you could slap a chicken hard enough to cook it I'm pretty sure that would also cook all your hand-meat.
And turn all the bones in at least your hand to fine aquarium gravel, if not the entire arm.
I know that's not terribly relevant to the subject of which fictional character can beat their meat the fastest but it was in my brain so now it gets to be in yours too.

I can’t explain why, but it would be the flash.
in breath of the wild, “bullet time” is characterized as the speed of everything around link slowing down by 20x (which is why things like windbombing and cryonis launches work; when bullet time is exited, that momentum created by link is moving at “regular speed” in bullet time, which means that it’s going 20x faster than normal), meaning that link is actually a great candidate for this chicken slap.

these channels are the funny version of studying hard , he shows a idea and finds a correct answer and makes a funny video of it.
Link doesn't really freezes time, he basically just halts an objects motion
I'd argue that Link's method of freezing time would theoretically work since the Stasis Rune explicitly retains force applied during its duration.
The main issue however is that the Stasis Rune only freezes time for the object, and only for a few seconds at most, and Link is not capable of slapping enough times during that brief window to cook the chicken, meaning that it not only becomes subject to heat loss when the time lock releases itself and the rune has to recharge, but also takes quite a long time from an observer's perspective since ONLY the chicken is time locked.
i think the other issue would be how much force is created during that, link's trick and all of those who do something similar would end producing the wrong effect, that being, too much force.
matpat indicated it before, that's why people like saitama just can't play this challenge, they would vaporize the chicken, if link's force transferance makes all the force be applied at the same time when the clock returns, it'll be equal to adding up all the times he slapped the chicken in a sudden surge of energy that would likely result in the chicken exploding into a million pieces.
I think that link could cook the chicken by slapping if he has the force to knock back a lyanal then he has the force to slap a chicken hard enough to cook it
Instead of stasis rune, try looking at his flurry rush or bullet time thing link uses that might actually get the job done. Not as fast as sonic or the rest but in bullet time mode he goes incredibly fast.
Yeah, as @Drew10204080 pointed out, Link would obliterate the chicken. Yes, it could technically generate the force to cook the chicken, but Stasis force applies all at once, which is why hitting boulders and such makes them move so far.
The reason several small slaps cooks better is because of the conservation of momentum. Because the chicken is sitting still, more of the force is being turned to heat due to friction. Once you pass the threshold of the force keeping the chicken in place most of the energy is turned into kinetic energy, meaning the chicken would start to move.
Applying that to stasis, all the small slaps that Link could do in the time that the chicken is frozen would build up the force needed to transfer the energy from heat to kinetic, and the chicken would be sent flying.
It is worth noting that Saitama could slap the chicken with the right amount of force though. He just couldn't do it in his classic "One Punch" style.
Another thing is that since time is freezed the force would build up, making no difference if you out right ram the chicken with a car. Rip Dio
Conclusion: Sonic beats his meat very well.
