This is great. Do you have a solution for being able to keyframe the end of the tail while keeping dynamics acting upon the rest of the joints? I've tried with dynamic constraints on the curve cvs, but can only move them during interactive playback. Looking to animate the tail end like a normal spline ik, but then when playing, have the dynamics run through the rest of the tail. Thanks!
I found it difficult to follow, as you're doing each step in full. I think an overview first would have helped to stage out what you are doing, then get into the detail.

I'm using Maya 2016 student version and there's no nDynamics toolbar. Does it not come with this version?
