The anarchist in me is so psyched about this song. The metaphors are not missed. We really do need to "reevaluate" all the shit around and within us. The masochist title, according to me, refers to the fact that all that "killing" hurts like hell. It is not without sacrifice we reevaluate and change the world. Killing of our attachments to all the outdated tradition costs us relationships. it costs us pain and suffering. But to radically turn this ship around we have to figure out how to do things differently. Just my take.
