I just joined your channel and then came back and watched this one, i loved the decopodge and the stencil you used. Im like you, when i use a stincel i loke to go back and tweek them so they look better. I have used a lot of there decopodge papers but have never bought a stencil from them, they are so expensive but iv had my eye on the snow globe for a year now. Great job. God bless
Thank you! One great aspect to the Roycycled Stencils is that they work together... the Snowglobe and the Cloche fit on Urn & Bushel, the elements in Nest & Winter will fit within Snowglobe and Cloche... leaving you with so many options for creating! I hope you get a chance to try them out! 🥰
If you hold reallt tight on the part your stenciling and before adding the color put modge podge on it and let it dry so if its going to nleed you won't see it just trying to help
Thank you! The Snowglobe & the paper are separate items - the paper: sentimentalsalvage.ca/collections/new-roycycled-collection-july-2023-release/products/winter-blocks-roycycled-decoupage-paper And the Snowglobe stencil: sentimentalsalvage.ca/collections/roycycled-stencils/products/snow-globe-roycycled-stencil Let me know if you have any questions! 🥰
The products are not rated food safe. If you'd like to place food on the board but would still like to be able to see the design... I'd just wrap it in clear food wrap :)
@@berthaglinz216 As a sealer, you could use either the Big Top or the Clear Patina. It's just personal preference and what I've got open and handy. Big Top is a bit more on the glossy side whereas the Clear Patina is a little more of a satin finish. Because I tend to use Clear Patina most often as a decoupage medium, it's what I usually use to seal those projects. I don't use Big Top to decoupage with but that's not saying it wouldn't work, it's just a little thin for my liking.
I NEVER waste decoupage paper!! I even mention right in the video that I save the extras because they are perfect for tags, pennants, and all kinds of smaller projects 🥰
The struggle is real! Glad you were able to brainstorm a winning solution! Looks great!
Thank you!
Love your take on changes! Love it!❤
Gorgeous! I need to get creating, you are such an inspiration!
Thank you my friend!
I love watching how you touched up where you stenciled, using paint and different colors. So beautiful!
Thanks! I just had to keep 'doing' until I liked it!
Love the idea nudging the stencil to create the snow,
Very nice! All your changes really worked❤
I think so! I really like how this turned out 🥰
This came out so beautiful, I've never thought about moving a stencil a little to shadow, great idea!!😍
Thanks! I hadn't either until that very moment 🤣
Beautiful result 👏👏
Thank you! A project is never over until it's loved! 🥰
This turned out so beautiful! 😊
Thank you!

Great save and a sweet project for those little cutting boards!
Really pretty!
Wow, your channel popped up on my feed. This is gorgeous!! I love how you added stencils to your decoupage. Tfs 💕
Thank you! 🥰
On the project with the winter scene, put another tree under the deer in the space. That would make it look great
It would 🥰
❤❤❤❤
Overthinking. It’s a lovely project.
thank you!

Beautiful. Can you also give us a link to the owl Christmas Globe paper

Good advice at the end..... step away from your project! I'm a new subscriber 😍
Sometimes you just need to walk away for a while! 🤣
This is beautiful! Are the cuting boards from ikea?
Dollarama. $4.50 ea in Canada. 😊
Beautiful job! So is it food safe using those paints?

The board... not the food 😉
Can you tell me what the small brushes that you are using for the stencils are called? Thank you!
They are craft blending brushes available here… amzn.to/3N5oHt8
Thanks!
What did you put on after you put snow flakes on ?
I applied another coat of the Clear Patina to seal it all in. This also helps to create a consistent sheen/finish over the whole piece.
@@SentimentalSalvage how do you no what to use. Big top, clear Patina or another coat of Decoupage

The project is beautiful, but it is killing me to waste so much of that decoupage paper
Oh me toooo! Can’t stand watching so much of that gorgeous paper being wasted!!!

Beautiful project! Am I the only one hearing a terrible echo in your mic?
Thanks! It sounds okay on my end - is there a specific part or throughout?
