I have some observations and questions... A minimalist seems to have nothing going on...everything is very peaceful and uncluttered...so what do you do all day? And then what do you rest from? What do you mean by taking time to play??? Seems like your whole life is "play" when nothing is stressful, and everything is very laid back and empty. Without a house to clean, because it's virtually empty...keeping you mind empty...what do you actually think about?? You aren't thinking about decor, rearranging the furniture, repainting (looks like everything is white). You only have one candle on a table...nothing to arrange and design there. I just wonder what minimalists do all day??? Their lives are so empty that they don't have plan anything...they don't seem to have a vision for the future; they aren't collecting or working towards anything except staying as empty as possible. Can you help me understand? BTW...I'm definitely not a minimalist...I have too much in my mind to be one. I love playing with my linens and redoing my home often. I can't stand eating off any one plate forever. My fridge is full of pieces with which to design meals...I have a studio full of pieces with which I work as a designer. I have moments of "nothingness" and simplicity...but a whole life of it would be terribly boring for me. Thanks for answering...

New Subbie, Ive been minimalist about a year now, i love my lounge its very cosy yet minimalist. my fave space in the house, its relaxing, I have what I need and only a few decorative pieces that I love. Ive been upcycling furniture and other things a long time. Im naturally quite a tense person, but clearing stuff out and giving stuff to others that will use and enjoy me is such a lovely thing no physical item has given me! Loving your channel and you are so relaxed and calming xxx
The calming voices like yours and other mindful and minimalist u tubers is a testament of how this journey works! Been decluttering my space for a yr. walking into a kitchen in the morning to see clean clear counters is so relaxing! Been working on wardrobe , since being intentional and switching to a linen capsule wardrobe I never have the frantic looking for the right outfit or the “I have nothing to wear” syndrome. I know I love every piece and everything works well with the other pieces. Why did it take me till age 67 to figure this all out! Lol
I love this list! Focusing on 3 items instead of staring at a full list is so helpful! I have a thing with the mason jars too! I am trying to minimalize! It isn't easy but you feel so accomplished when you do!
Just started to do this and its amazing how stuff creeps back in I feel good when I give things to charity too ..being an artist can be very cluttered and messy at times ...thanks for you calm video x

Hi Connie, I found this through the YT4B daily engagement post. I enjoyed this video and totally agree with setting 3 goals for the day. Looking forward to more of your content!
Minimalism has always been something that awed me, one day I'd like to be one. The simplicity just seems so stress and clutter free. Awesome watch, loved this video 💛
I love upcycling jars as well too. And I also extend it to cups from a coffee shop, the uses are endless. I loved the video! I'm gonna go explore your other videos now.
Lovely video .i have simplified my laundry cupboard for years i have owned so many quilt covers pillow cases and sheets they used to fall out every time i opened the cupboard and if sny one came to stay would take ages rummageing throu all the things to get matching bedding .but now i have thrown whats not needed and .now i put my sheet pillow case quilt cover all together in to the remaining pillow case so the whole set is easy to pull out and find ..also i promise my self to turn off my phone to have quite time reading thank you x
Most of it sounds just common-sense and baseline. What I am impressed by, though, is the aesthetics of your surroundings and the serene lightness of your appearance. This says more than any of the ideas you shared.
Oh my goodness, thanks to youtube algorithm I found you. I'm grateful for that. 🌟 It's what I need. I'm in the beginning of my minimalist journey. I'm cluttering things up and making life simpler. Thanks for your tips. 🌷
I was a minimalist before it was a “thing”. Just my natural tendency. I found eCloths simplified my life even more. Saves time, money and they are amazing at cleaning. I still clean my tub with a bathroom cleaner and the inside of my toilet with a bowl cleaner but except for trying to use up old products it’s eCloths for all my cleaning. I’m enjoying your channel. 😊😊
This video just popped up in my recommendations, and I’m so glad it did!! So many good ideas that I had to immediately subscribe for more. I especially like the tip to have only three items on your daily To Do list. I inevitably never finish my ongoing To Do list! Lol. This just might be a game changer for me. 😊
Couldn't agree more on EVERY (and I truly mean it) point you made. The one I think recently I resonate with the most is the overwhelm I get from the notificatios, it has been sooo distracting that I really had to turn many of them off. Super useful as well the tip on the cleaning products, it would help a lot also when it comes to choosing at the supermarket :) Really thanks so much for sharing this video!
Love the video Connie and the effort you put into it. Sometimes less is definitely more. I have a habit of piling too much on my shoulders which never ends too well! Subscribed :)

Hi, I love your video. Can you share what kind of planner you show in the video. I like the set up, I've been trying to get away from Franklin covey for a while but I can't seem to find one I like. This one seems like it fits what I'm looking for.
If I haven’t used something in 6 months, I don’t need it. I sell or give it away. Every item that disappears from my storage areas makes me feel lighter and happier, and I love seeing new people give life and purpose to things I gave them.
Thank you very much for the inspiring video, appreciate it. My take away is single tasking, I’m going to utilise this idea straight away. Greetings from England.
It's easy to pile up. Difficult to be minimal. Easy to be complex. Hard to be simple. In this way simplicity is the highest complexity. I like this challenge and I'm a minimalist or essentialistic for that matter.
Mason jars would encourage me to hoard or collect. For me it's about needing less.Eating omad fresh food. I dont eat cereals or dry food it frees up space no need for a larder.😘 Like the one multi use cleaner like you.
I've been doing the '3 Things' list. I usually get them done and can do more. Great tips. I've never thought of myself as a minimalist but I just might be.
Hi Connie. I'm a new subscriber who is wanting to start living a more simple life. I know that I have "too much" and "memories" are not in the "things" we hold on to, but in our hearts. So glad I came across your channel! Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful tips! I want to de clutter, organize and simplify my life so I can enjoy and focus on things I love. I am on my way to minimalism but find it hard with kids and a spouse who has a hard time letting go of stuff. But I am slowly and gradually de cluttering and am hopeful that I will finally reach my goal:) You have a new subscriber and friend 💕

Hi Lucille, Sounds like you have a full plate. In stressful, busy times in my life I do small things to feed my spirit and wellbeing. It could be sitting for 2 minutes at lunch in the sun, or listening to soothing spa music while I drive to pick up kids. Try to sneak a few moments for yourself. Even moms and wife's deserve a little self-care. Happiness & Peace
