Edit: I have been notified that "There are currently no aftermarket cases available. Later this year, we will share our design files publicly, inviting case makers & hobbyists to develop their own 80HE cases." So wooting is still very community friendly and that's why I support them so much. Cult like maybe? idk but sign me up.

More differences from the 60HE that you didn’t mention is that it’s gasket mounted PCB and Polycarbonate backplate. As someone who didn’t get the 60HE bc I have a custom board with the features mentioned above, the PC backplate + gasket mount + 75% is why I finally pulled the trigger. :)
So who can recommend some good white paint that doesn't chip?

I modded my wooting 60he+, and it’s honestly underrated how the software updates/beta tests are for every single one of their keyboards, even older ones
Even wooting one has most features
if they released this a year earlier it would've been a game changer but right now the HE keyboard market is very saturated that the only redeeming quality of a wooting keyboard is their software

I just bought the full size wooting and I pre ordered an 80HE with the bare zinc case. I will pay whatever amount they demand purely because I love the quality and they don’t make me download bloatware to use the keyboard 👍

I’ve been waiting for a review on this product form a well known RUclipsr that got it early because I bought this like 3-4 months ago or so and I have been patiently waiting ever since with liminal data on what it can really do in person. So thank you!
I went from a 10kls mechanical keyboard to an 80he and the difference is immediately noticeable. Do you need to buy the crazy zinc version shown here is unlikely. But I can say a Hall effect keyboard is a big upgrade. Wooting has a crazy solid build quality and the web based software is very well optimized. I love mine.

it feels on par with this tbh, but the inconsistency in having random inputs register even tho i barely touch the key is something that i didnt like. also having it trigger rapid trigger even tho it is fully bottomed out eg when im walking forward and i suddenly stop even tho i have fully bottomed the W key

Keychron just released Q3 HE. $220 but metal and normal TKL not some weird 80%. I've heard VIA is pretty good software.

MADE Pro series is wayyyy cheaper and much more aesthetic than the wootings. I have pre-ordered already. Wooting is my first rapid trigger keyboard though ♥️ wish the price was more affordable.
They already said, that they did this specific 80% layout, because they want the space between the F and extra keys, so you wont hit any of them by accident
Additionaly they didn't want to move the arrow keys more to the left, because then people could not just use their keycaps and instead have to buy the wooting Keycaps just for the right shift key
Thats what i know so far
You didn't have to use another shift key, the layout just looked off before the fix because it wasn't aligned vertically.
330€ is crazy expensive but I know it's good quality, I just can't afford it

@@JakubixIsHere got the same every option than the wooting on the software BUT he have only 0.5ms of total latency from the key activation to its registering (and you can use it WITH your leds on not like the wooting that force you to switch on the tachyon to get 1ms without leds), 8 macros and 3 profils you can switch on the own keyboard, in my opinion he is way better technically than the wooting
Just get atk rs7 or pro atp coming from 60he its definitely better and a lil bit cheaper performance is really good, having 0.02 ms response time
wasnt wooting keyboard banned for cs cuz it detects it for cheating or its that just the feature for counter strafing
nope, just the feature of SOCD/Snap tap that was banned from official CS2 servers. the keyboard itself might be banned in tournaments but as of now i dont recall hearing of any

whats funny about HE is that i have no need for it. i game just fine without it. have never even thought that i needed it to play better. i'm able to win games against people just fine, some of them might even have an HE keyboard that didn't help them. if people think by getting this kind of stuff is gonna immediately make them a god at gaming i have beach front property to sell them in montana

After owning a Wooting, I can finally say that they’re way overhyped and priced. Software is good I’ll admit. But looks, sound and feel are all awful. I wish Wooting cared about the materials used rather than just the PCB. Keycaps, case and over all looks and sound is just unacceptable at this price point. Anyone who’s in the market for an HE Board, my daily for the past 2 months has been the Keychron Q1HE. IMO it’s a step up in every category except the software (which is actually very similar, just not quite as fluid )
It’s definitely a more premium feeling and sounding keyboard by a mile.
