I'm sorry I missed your live ; (( I'm in NC... the hurricane came through, but not in the heart of the devastation... it's been really intense around us though - our schools were shut down for a few days because of power, water, cel service being down and many of the roads impassable. We are all fine, getting back to normal, and so so lucky, but so much heartbreak so close by, down the highway, in the mountain area. Lots of friends and friends of friends in the hard hit area... trapped in Asheville. We hear the miliary aid helicopters cross over our house on their way to and from asheville bringing aide that can't go by road. The beautiful part is all of the amazing help that everyday citizens are organizing... every day I have been in the grocery store... dozens of the carts are filled with donations that we are all driving to local, private airports where volunteer pilots are flying their private jets with donations... again, because we can't drive it just an hour away... all roads are closed from wash out and mudslides... entire hwys shutdown... anyway... no idea why I am sharing all of this here, I am sure you have seen the news... but somehow, it feels like a safe place to share what is happening in my corner of the world. I'm so sorry to hear this, Kelly. This is a safe space to share. I haven't been watching the news as much since I've moved. There's so much to do. I'm happy to hear you're safe but so sad to hear others are struggling. Isn't it amazing how everyone comes together during times of tragedy. I truly believe this is how most humans are. I'm only at 30 minutes... DO A ZOOM for decluttering makeup... we could all do it together on camera!!!! That would be such a beautiful, connecting and freeing experience!! Wouldn't that be amazing!?
I will be soon, Sue. I've been so busy moving and organizing my home that planning, filming and editing videos has been extremely difficult. Plus my computer has broke twice within a month so editing has been impossible. I completely understand the time isn't good for a lot of people. I'll find a balance soon.
