The best steak restaurant in St Louis period!
Good to see a company taking care of their customers.
Dean and Alex had one on west florissant, I worked with them when I was 16. I was the bread and potato girl. First job, love working with them.
They had a place on Brentwood. I worked at the HideSide in Clayton and NW Plaza. Every aft I would ride my bike about 5 miles there and back. I ate here every day. A burger and fries and coke and fab pickles ~BigNapkins!
I parked near the St Louis Arch and smelled great meat..but knew a near place was $ $. Well as a visitor to your city , I asked where can can I go for a great steak ? , they recommended you and right near" The Cathedral Basilica " a must. , and thank you St Louis and the beautiful helpful people. A great day and a great steak meal 😂
I've been eating there since 1964 when my late parents would take us there to eat.
Bravo go for the best when the company is paying and like your Papa , i thank him and i thank you for an excellent steak and meal. And for every every day man. Thank You 😊

Anybody who's ever spent time working in midtown knows this joint. And I mean that with much respect. Maybe institution is more appropriate. It's special. I would kind of compare it with Hodak's or Rigazzi's or Uncle Bill's Pancakes among others.
I’m sorry, but I ate at Uncle Bills once because everyone raved about it and I’ll never go back. The pancakes were raw in the middle and they refused to remake them for me. My eggs were way over cooked and my husband got corned beef hash expecting real hash and what he got was a watered down canned hash with tons of salt in it. The wait staff and hostess/cashier were super rude. The whole experience was horrible.
