Thanks for the update, just finished installing, while I was running the vacuum. The immediate differences inANC blew me away. I immediately went and grabbed my AirPods and Bose to give a quick comparison. They seem right there with Bose while music is playing and a tiny bit behind without music, maybe. One thing I’m certain of is, I have no reason to continue to use the other buds. Great update Sennheiser, wow
I have the mtw 3 and I’m mad they didn’t include updates for us loyal customers. There’s just not enough difference between the two to warrant getting the 4’s.
I disagree!! I've got the MTW3. There's the new Lossless sound option in the 4. Listening to music using Lossless using a compatible Android phone with the Personalise EQ feature makes a big difference to sound quality!! At least to my ears anyway. And the new Copper black colour is so Dope!!
Great, so after months, I was on the fence between these, AZ80's and Ultras. I have the WF1000MX5 and I love them, but the stock tips are not that great they make the buds move when I walk and make the left buds mic hiss when ANC is on when it contacts my ear. I have the QC11 buds, they are comfy, still move a bit when I walk, but not as bad as the Sony, and the ANC is a little better. So I got the AZ80s, LOVED the sound, but the ANC was just good, and it made me realise its more important to me than pure sound quality. So there we land on the Ultras, even if its a tiny improvement, get them and done. Now you are telling me the Momentum 4's might be up there.... Reasearching buds is never ending! Hopefully we will get some data on the current ANC and I can go from there.
Thanks for update, the annoying noisy sound from my source loseless audio by Hiby digital M300 dissappear. I use denon perl pro too, but no noise sound from the same source, maybe because Denon Perl pro use multiple drivers. But after update, I more often use my MTW4 rather than Denon Perl Pro
@sennheiser I picked up a set and got the sound to where it's top tier, but, my own voice booms during transparency mode. If I carry a conversation, my own booming voice masks the other person's voice so much I just talk right over them without realizing they've said anything (wife wasn't happy about that 😉). The Pixel buds pro "suck out" the voice almost completely as an example. I WANT to love these because they sound great and are very comfortable, but I'll have to send them back as they are without some kind of low-pass filter to cut out that sound LOL.

I received the update yesterday and i noticed an improvement in the wind cancellation when using ANC (what i hear when there is wind not what a caller might hear from my mic).
I have had problems with mtw4s and momentum sport. They both has this drop in audio quality. The best way to explain it, it that its sounds like its going from stereo to mono. Suddenly the sound is in the middle of your head. And then its stereo. And so it goes on. Really annoying. But yesterday i went for an walk. And it might be fixed after the update. This was on the momentum sport. They also have had an update this week. But i felt it also was gone on the mtw4s. Going to try some more. It was so annoying, that i almost thought of getting rid of them, and buy some jabras. But hopefully its gone. I love the Sennheiser sound. 🥰
@@aaronloudnwireless I think that could be because of all the negative feedbacks/comments when this was launch as there was that "white noise" issue. Seems like this product should have been launched when that first update was released to address the '"white noise" but... Maybe they should know better for the MTW5...

Call quality is simply worst on mtw4, I previously had mtw3 & they had the same issue.

Hmm I hope this update goes along with MTW3. I purchased MTW3 ($149) after my 2nd XM4 battery failed with repair costs more than $150.

I have the SENNHEISER'S TW4 along with bose QC 2,airpods pro 2 sony wf-1000xm4 it for SURE is NOWHERE near ANC KING!

The latest version of my headphones appears to be 4.20.3. There is no new update. What should I do? I bought the headphones brand new.
