I don't often get emotional, but it is so sad to see such a quality brand have to take this option. I don't even have a Jabra product; I plan to get the Elite 8 Gen 2 when available and will still go ahead with that. Two to three years of upgrades will do me fine. But, yes, it is a sad day to see this news.
Really wish they would stick around since I do not see any other line like the Elite line with features and especially mic mute and button controls. Really sad since i was really warming up to their Elite line.
I'm greatly disappointed by the news about the discontinuation of the elite line. If you don't live on an Apple island, the Elite 10s were the best all-around for a host of devices and for switching between OS platforms. The IP ratings, mic quality, sound, adequate noise canceling and fit were excellent. I have to go out of my way to add that the Elite 10s were the only TWS earbuds that I own where I didn't need to use aftermarket eartips to get my best sound. I personally owned all the WF1000s since the XM3, Have the Airpods Pro 2, as well as the Elite 10s and they are very very competitive.... even preferred in many circumstances. As for the case being a BT transmitter. Love the idea of using it on an airplane without having to pack another BT transmitter and/or take wired earbuds just for the plane ride. I'm thinking of buying a gen 2 set just because it's the last. =(
Sad to see Jabra get out of this space. Their earbuds have always been more user friendly than the competitors even if they lagged behind a bit on features. I bought 2 earbuds just for the comfort. I wish things change in the future and they reintroduce another line up
I'm very sad about this. I've had every premium Jabra bud since the 75T and the 10s are my daily drivers and, in my opinion, one of the best all-around pairs of earbuds that you can buy. RIP Jabra
Just heard the news now, very sad to be honest. I'm a really really satisfied Jabra client. I've had my 75Ts for years and they're still working great to this day. Good luck to all.
Even if it's not strictly related to these buds, what's your take on LC3, QualcommSound, AuraCast and such? Are these the future, present or a "gimmick"? My next buds should be future proof.
So after trying several different pairs of buds a couple of years ago, I found the Jabra Elite Active 75t and they have been my go-to ever since. I still love them and they work great, but I worry about how much more life they have left in them. Now with Jabra earbuds going away I'm curious if you would recommend either the Gen 2 versions of the Elite 8 Actives or Elite 10s for a huge fan of the Jabra 75Ts?
@@johndoe-vc1we Because I just don't have $200 + to drop on a new set of earbuds with just the ability to use the case as a Bluetooth adapter and spatial audio, they should have at least lowered the price
@@VinodJacob181if you wait for sometime they will reduce in price. I went with elite 10 gen 1 that came out nearly a year ago which i bought for the equivalent of 150 on sale yesterday. I don't know if gen 2 will come to my market and there isn't much difference with the elite 10 according to DHRME. However Elite 8 gen 2 might be interesting.
The wireless earbud space is just too competitive to be profitable for Jabra. Most people can only think Apple/Samsung for earbuds then Sony and Google take most of the rest of the market. I can't imagine it's easy for Bose, Sennheiser, Technics or other but players either.
I own the Elite 10 gen 1 and comfort is next level. Audio quality is also good if you get the equilizer right and ANC is decent. Spatial audio is pretty much useless for me as I like my galaxy s24 ultra spacial audio more. If I need dolby sound I enable that.
Love Jabra, been using 75T for years now. was planning to get Elite 10 Gen 2, but now don't think it's a good idea. problem is there not many alternatives.
the 1st and only wireless earbuds I have used are the Jabra 75T active. I am still using them today! I will have to buy these elite 10 ones now to make sure I have Jabra earbuds for as long as possible. They are simply the best! I love the rubberized coating, the design, and great battery life. Unfortunate they are going out of business
Great review. Spatial audio is a waste of time, 3.5mm connection is amazing, I fly alot and it's perfect. I always need to Cary wired headphones just for this reason. Is the fit deep? What is the volume levels like?
What would be really useful to me in your otherwise excellent earbuds reviews would be some kind of empirical scale of how loud the buds go. I am at an age where loudness matters to me as a prime determinant of what buds to get and although some of your reviews state that the buds are "loud" it is hard to get a feeling for the relative position they have compared to others. Or could you do a specific comparison review of loud buds, do you think ? Thanks for the great channel 👍
All iPhone users I know buy AirPods. Jabra was therefore targeting Android users interested in spending on quality earbuds. While the build and fit was always great, Jabra didn't offer aptX or LDAC support and their ANC was always weak. Competition targeting Android users (e.g. Sennheiser, Sony) offered what Jabra didn't, while still giving satisfactory build and fit.
Of course im interested in the latency numbers. Specially as a musician and a gamer. I assumed it would be around 30 miliseconds since lc3 codec allows that low latency. Im looking for an opportunity to jump from aptx low latency to lc3. If the latency wasn’t that much i would absolutely have bought these. It would have been the first chance to enjoy gaming earbuds with transparency mode. I use various wireless transmission methods from my audio mixer (ps5, bluetooth and airplay receivers…) for different types of headphones and even for sony’s last neckband speaker. But not earbuds with anc and transparency mode. This transmitter case would had allow me to use amazing earbuds with my analog signal mixing. You better not be wrong with the measurements… thanks for saving me the money and disappointment with such a high latency…
need some advice, not possible to find the elite 10 gen 2, was wondering if the gen 1 is still worth it considering it's about 100 more than the jbl live pro 2 or the Sony linkbud s. which should I get?
This sucks. I prefer the Jabras over the Sony. I've had 3 pairs of Jabras, 1 pair i lost and my partner has the elite 10. They are so good for bass, comfy for long use and I like the buttons 😢
My first true wireless earbuds were the Jabra Elite 65t, but looking back I was pretty frustrated with them. They were ahead of their time with multipoint, but still had a microUSB charging port, no individual bud usage, and the sound was poorly sealed for my ears such that I could barely hear the bass. My main gripe was that the left bud hisses more than the right bud, especially at high volumes, and also has some more clipping distortion. Some of these things were rectified with the 75t but it was disappointing it still didn't have individual bud use, as they promised bringing this with a firmware update, but it was ultimately cancelled, but I guess adding ANC with firmware was a bit of a consolation prize. My next pair of Jabras were the Elite 3 which I just use as a backup pair as I was looking for a cheap option with transparency mode - they sound good but have a lot more hissing noise than many earbuds out there.
Hey guys, I noticed you guys didn’t do a review on Sony’s XB910N. I’m really torn between two choices which are - XB910N and the Soundcore Life Q35 (the Q45s aren’t available in my country). Can you please help me decide?

Is spatial audio like u hear speakers in front of you and behind? I tested the Bose headphones not buds and really liked it. Felt like speakers front of you listening to music. It's a shame to hear this. I'll be getting the Gen 2 elite 8 active when they come out. That headphone jack feature is something I've wanted for a long time in earbuds.

Maybe when they are heavily disconnected later this year I will pull the trigger.
