Another great video! I've got a suggestion, as someone who uses buds for music and calls. Though it may seem like a minor thing, the ease of getting the buds out of the case is really important to me. I usually end up dedicating a pair to phone calls, and those are always within easy reach (right now they're the Earfun AirPro 3). The Soundcore Liberty 4NC are an example of a bud that, because of the case button, are a little more fiddly to get out of the case and in my ears quickly. More often than not, buds without a stem will never become phone call buds for me, primarily because I've got to pinch them in some sort of awkward way to get them out of the case. I get that it doesn't have to be a race to get buds in my ears, but if possible, I like to do it as quickly and seamlessly as possible when I'm answering a call. Adding something like "Ease of removal from the case" as a category in your ratings and on the spreadsheet, would definitely help me make an earbud choice. Thanks!
@@electroduval831Yeah, I mean it sounds cliche, but the struggle is actually real. I've got a few Tozo buds that are way more difficult to remove than they should be.
Sound quality, names at the top don't hear many reviews on these, thanks for bringing them up. Denon, Technics mostly known for the home system. Good to know.
Thank god i found you here, love your reviews. I'm some kind of audiophile and your videos are helping me so much making the right decision for my next earbuds❤
Very interesting review. Especially because Rtings scores the jabra elite 8 gen2 as the best earbuds in many categories and especially in sound quality.
Why is the sound quality rated so low, especially on the 8’s? The description doesn’t explain why they are considered so average. Rtings rate them really high.
Another great Picky review & comparison. I'm still using my Elite 7 Active at times but might upgrade eventually. I wish Jaybird dropped the Vista 3,as they'd be a direct competitor. My Vista 2 still work & they been thru a LOT.. Lol.... Keep up the Picky work 💯💪👍
@pickyaudio agree... Jaybird got a lot of mixed reviews with the Vista 2 but I feel like they'd be able to make improvements just like other companies but not looking too good considering it's been couple years now... lol Keep up with that Picky work my man💯💪
I have tried everything Sony bose master and dynamic you name it but newer Jabra earbuds and keep going back to my 85ts cause all others don't fit or have the noise canceling like those. I work outside with loud equipment all Day and the 85ts literlly rival my Sony xm5 over ears. That's a big thing to say but it's true so how are the elite 7 actives?
I still don't understand the wind noise reduction of the 10 elite. Does it switch off ANC completely? That would make them unusable as ANC earbuds outside?
In the end I bought the Gen1 during Black Friday Week. The ANC is good, WNR not that good (Soundcore, Earfun, 1More have a much better WNR), but the sound is good and they are very comfortable indeed.
Would love your opinion on what you would recommend for a person who always used Jabra elite? Still using them till they die but what is the closest replacement?
Oh, you look different! You bought a new t-shirt, I'm sure that's it! Jokes aside, I decided to pay a little extra and buy the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for this channel and the reviews :)
Had to return two pairs of the Elite 10 Gen 2 because the ANC was making a pulsing noise in both ears even when there was no noise in the room. Tried resetting each pair multiple times but issue always came back later and Jabra has not pushed any updates or fixes … other brands have had multiple updates in same time span so not sure if Jabra going to fix them
I already have the 8 active but I’m a sucker for a bit of consumerism and they gen 2 are available for 160 GBP atm, do you think it’s worth upgrading? I have beats fit pro too which are great for their transparency mode and fit, but they constantly cut out when I use them in the gym which kinda defeats their whole purpose!
Have you noticed any autoconnection issues? There are some reports on Reddit. I want to upgrade my Elite 85t and can't decide between the Elite 8 Gen 2, Elite 10 Gen 2 or Pixel Buds Pro 2. I like Jabra and the physical buttons, but autoconnection issues are a big problem. Pixel buds work flawlessly with a Pixel phone.
Hey mate, im thinking to upgrade from samsung bud fe to 8 active g2. Is it worth it? I do wish fe had more bass at times. Btw Machine head has some killer riffs. Imperium is my playlist for workout 💪
Hello, sound quality, charging comfort etc. is important to me. Which of these 3 models do you recommend? Denon perl pro technics az80 bower wilkins pi8
Love the reviews Picky... Will you be reviewing the new Sony Linkbuds fit? Interested in this as a cheaper more active xm5 alternative with same great quality & features
You need to used the largest tip for jabra elite 10 to get the most out the anc. Your ear looks big enough to accommodate it. Using the medium/small tip in your ear will not create the ideal seal. Ruining the anc.
Picked up the Elite 10 gen 2 when it came out. Personally, the ANC for me was the most inconsistent on any bud I've tested out. It's like this weird "figuring out how much to cancel" feeling *if* the NC mics decide to work. I honestly wish I would have returned these in time. Great mics and software, but eh, NC was just too disappointing for the price. Other than that, great product
Same with the Elite 8 Active for me. Otherwise great earbuds but the ANC is almost unusable for me. Shame as I like the 3.5 headphone jack adapter since it makes a many of my devices now usable with earbuds.
With the first 8 active's I had almost zero ANC, even with the expensive Azla tips. New Bose QCE much better for me in every aspect, especially ANC, but only with XL tips and wings.
My 75t's died couple of months ago and I bought the soundcore a20i buds but too much white noise at low volume, bad volume control and sound quality compared to what i was used to just not good enough. I want to use my buds while working on construction sites, but also use them to fall asleep in bed. Any recommendations for around 150€$?
I have the jabra elite 10 gen 1. They are quite good. I do not think there is much difference to upgrade. When these will no longer function, I will go for aZ80 or 90, which one will be available then. Love your videos. Best regards. 😊
Thanks for the review, solid insight 🙏🏽 really appreciate it. Any idea how to set the earbuds (elite 8 active gen 2) to automatically connect with my iPhone when taken out of the case? I keep having to go into Bluetooth settings to connect manually. Thanks in advance. 👊🏽
Hey man... excellent review... keep up the good work! Two questions re the 8A Gen2 please: 1) Have you noticed a drastic decrease in battery life when wearing the headphones in cold temperatures (e.g. below 5°C)? Mine are relatively new and under those low temperatures, mid-low volume, ANC on, they last around 5h ish before asking for recharge. 2) Is the USB-provided cable limited in terms of standard USB features? I tried my cable with multiple of my regular wall chargers to charge my Samsung Galaxy Ultra and the phone said over and over it would last about 5x the normal charging time (hence I didn't even bother testing any data transfer speeds with a laptop and my phone)
My biggest disappointment has been the mics in quiet rooms and rooms with some noise and crosstalk. The noise suppression is so strong my voice ends up sounding thin and hard to hear clearly. It's disappointing because I can hear the other person loud and clear with anc on. The transparency is more like a sidetone. You have to listen with intention or else it takes a moment to understand. I find myself taking them out often so I can hear what's going on around me or if someone is talking to me.
a quick suggestion: check out the xiaomi buds 5, these have the airpods style semi in ear design, but only cost 80 bucks, and have all the features. (the Touch controls are like the pro 2, with the volume Control)
What to sell me a pair? I can't find either in Aust now. I am kicking myself I didn't buy them the first time I watched this😭 Then my dog chewed my 7 Pro right bud
@@shanamajno they don't .I'm talking so it call background noise cancellation. Slot of reviewers are not taking into account the fact it takes around 10 secs for calls noise cancellation to fully kick in .once it does it's super impressive .up there with the freebuds pro 3 and Samsung galaxy buds 3 pro . The adaptive ANC is great
I think it was nice that Jabra did a refresh before they called it quits. Thanks for the review. 💯🔥🇺🇸
Cheers! Yea sad to see them leave

I just lost my Elite Active 75T and considering getting one of these!
What's better, Sony Linkbuds S or Jabra 8 gen 2. And is it worth it since they called it quits?
They nerfed the ANC. The 7's had better ANC. I bought the 8 Gen 1 and I noticed immediately how bad the anc was compared to the 7s.
@OfficialRay3 it's fine I ended up buying the Samsung bud 3pro
I can't find the Google Sheet of the comparison vs the Excel download, anyone else?
What's happening here? You just stated both of the buds IP classes at 1:24 and then suddenly you change them incorrectly in 2:16?
Case ip vs bud ip
