Because of you guys, bought my Jabra Elite 8 Active today and already tested them in a gym, 10 out of 10. My new daily drivers with their all bells and whistles, Vakman approved. But to be 11 out of 10 Jabra can add (somehow) swipe volume control and different controls when you have only one earbud on. Thanks for review
@DHRME looking forward to your 10 review. I'm assuming better sound and ANC but worried about the fit for running. I might go with 8 as all rounders. Having over ears as well means my buds don't need to do everything.
I purchase sennheiser momentum tw3 two months ago for a workout/lifestyle earbud, but their build and durability couldn’t even last the summer. The speaker became unglued and created a whole bunch of issues. I would avoid including those buds in any active earbud comparison. Looking forward to upgrading to jabra elite 8 active.
I am loving these, as earbuds typically never fit in my ears unless I get memory foam or SpinFit. These fit in my ear out of the box with no issues, that's never happened before with me. And that they do things like transparency and ANC quite nicely (For me at least, I came from lower/midrange level Anker earbuds and had the Pixel Buds Pro for a bit) and fitting as is made these one of my best purchases in a while.
The fabric filters in the nozzle would have been soaked, giving muffled sound until they dry out which takes hours. It used to happen to my Mpow T5 and the built in speakers on my Sony Xperia phones. Great review my dudes!
i just did the "S & N" - you guys have a great dynamic and the randomly blurred smile took me out ( Would like to know that back story on that scene), LOL! nice job guys
I ordered them right after release because I am a big fan of my elite 7 active. They are the only buds with the linkbuds s that stay in my ears reliably when it comes to yoga or intense strength training. Other than the linkbuds s the elite 7 active’s physical buttons doesn’t get triggered accidentally when touching my arms during a yoga session. They don’t get to be my go to buds though due to the massive lag I have when using them to watch RUclips videos. I am talking of seconds not milliseconds delay, it’s horrible. Has that improved with the new 8 active? I only have Apple devices so I wonder weather the lag may be less with android devices with the elite 7 buds, have you done some comparison here?
can you test them in the pool and give us your review on audio quality underwater? I know it is bluetooth tech...may or not work underwater. Any onboard storage to store music? I believe there should be storage for music/podcast but how's file transferring and conversion...I'm potentially a first time buyer of these Elite 8 earbuds. I love my Bragi but they were gone (and I need earbuds for swimming these days)...not just the earbuds but the entire company! Hope to hear from you guys again!
Wow, still rocking my 75T but now for home-use with its battery degradation (3 years heavy use), have the Elite 7 Active but the sound wasn’t up to the 75T level so this is good news from the 8 Active, waiting for your Elite 10 review.
I dnt know man, my active 75t survived the washing machine and all my vigorous workouts. My heart wants this new elite 8 active but my brain says the 75t can probably last few more years.
there also issues when connected to 2 devices, when listen to music to 1st device sometimes the second one will disconnect, and will not reconnect so soon...maybe you can report this also...
That's what im saying i got the elite 7 as well and like the saying goes if it's not broke don't fix it i have no problems with them having them for a year now
I want to ask which one has a better anc- Jabra Elite 8 Active or Jabra Elite 10 and is there big difference between them if you compare only anc ? Im looking for earbuds for gym/running and I wonder which to buy ? First I was ready to buy xm5, but I don't know how well they will do when Im sweating and if the get wet. I think in this conditions Jabra will be the better choice, but Im not sure about their anc ( will it isolate the noise and music in the gym).
I've been wondering the same. After checking out some videos the elite 10 has a more loose fit which means they don't filter out the surroundings as well as the 8 active. The elite 10 has slightly higher comfort because of this and marginally better sound but the 8 active wins on better seal which means better noise cancelling.
I tried both 8 and 10. All day comfort, ANC, and sound quality were very similar. Earbud size and retention felt similar in-ear. Due to longer battery life and lower cost, I kept the Jabra Elite 8 Active and returned the Jabra Elite 10. But either works great, concidering Jabra 2 yr warranty. My personal choice has been reaffirmed with feeling absolutely no buyers' regret.
Bought these to replace my broken Jabra Elite Active 75t's and i'm actually unsatisfied with the Sound. Not enough depth and punch on the Bass and fatiguing Treble at times. Improved durability, batter life and fit is great, however, i prioritize a sound that really pushes me through my workouts. And that's where these are lacking, in my opinion...
Im currently using elite 3 and ım ok with their bass. Is elite 8 active goingto be a upgrade on bass from elite 3 ? And how different bass is elite 8 active and 75t ? Like is there a huge difference and weak bass or does elite 8 active have "not so strong but good enough" bass ?
Had these for a month, ive bathed with them, showered with them. Still works great. Far greater then the junk sennheiser makes that breaks for simple firmware updates.
I don't know why but the case just feels so weird when you cant put it up like the 75t's. I have the 75t active version would you recomend upgradin them to the elite 8. I just love my 75t best blackfriday sale I have ever bought!
I come for the popsicle-icicle-testing thing and stay for the comprehensive review. I also wait for that one special day when you will deliver on the testicle
How are they compared to the active 75T? The anc on 75Tis really poor. The sound is ok. But it would be better if it had good anc to block out sound when outside. Does the 8s handle wind?
@@rickderico356 what is the difference amount of the bass ? Im planning to get elite 8 active and ım not sure about bass. I dont expect bass to be as strong as 75t but what is the amount of bass difference between 8 active and 75t ?
@@memaati01-hsb98 In songs that were made to be bassy (such as Rap songs etc) they do have a nice punch. However, unlike the 75t's they don't turn every other genre into bass-heavy music. These look promising, to be honest, however: (and I am gonna be that idiot again who praises his Huawei Freebuds Pro 2). Why do you always have to make compromises? Either the buds lack LDAC (like here), or they lack multipoint support (like Airpods), or controls suck like on the WF XM5 or the Linkbuds S (these could have been my best buds if they had ALL the controls). So again I have to say, the Huawei Freebuds 2 Pros still check out all of these boxes after almost 1,5 years.... How the hell is that?

11:30 I'm still stuck on the Jabra Elite 75t because of the bass. How do these compare?
Also curious about this
Bass and sound is more powerful on the 75t but the 8s are more accurate especially towards the mids and highs.

For reference: I accidentally put my 7 actives in the clothes wash and they survived just fine. And this is probably a very critical test.
