I really like the hear through mode. I have a slight hearing disability. I find that after doing the sound setup I get a better hearing experience of my overall surroundings when the music is turned off.
Hello.I bought this headset but I haven't used it for running yet. Have you had a problem such as displacement or falling in the ear during intense running? I'm undecided, I'm thinking of replacing it with beats.
I've got the 7 active, the fit is amazing. I always have problems with buds because the usually slip or the tips are too large or small, not with the 7 active owned them for about 6 months so prob wont update for now
Compare to jabra elite active 65t, is it better or not? I have used active 65t for five years. Although it is good, the big size makes it tiresome for my ears
For me they won’t even stay in walking much less running, I can only use them with a headband, and after a couple of hours in use, my ears start to ache!! I guess like for shoes, we’re all very very different!!
Do they work with garmin watches? I had a Jabra 75t with Fenix 6x and the bluetooth connection was disconnected. Now I have Epix 2 pro and I wonder if the problem still occurs.
I used a 75t with a Forerunner 945 for years and there is this known issue: Your Jabras might be connected as both headphones and running sensor which will most of the time kill the bluetooth connection. You have to either deny it being added as a sensor or delete the sensor afterwards.
Hello Friend, what will be your recommendation between the Elite 7 active ($104) and the Elite 8 active ($159). do your think it worth the extra money and go for the E8A instead to get advantage of the sale price of the E7A. I am using them for everything, workout (running, weights), at the office for conference calls and at home for music/movies. I am open to other recommendations different of the ones I mentioned. TY for your help.
Look for mic test comparisons. The 8 is well worth that extra $, and that’s a good price I haven’t seen them for 159. I know this is an old comment but yes the 8s are a giant leap in sound quality, and, and mic. Of course if you’re like me and wreck 3 or 4 pairs a year might be worth going for the discounts!
I was thinking about upgrading from my 75t actives to 7 active but kept the 75t's after seeing the 7's review, now i was thinking about upgrading to the 8's but after seeing this i am still interested in them but don't see the point of investing the money while the 75t actives still do their job pretty well. Can anybody convince me why i should upgrade? I also keep losing my charging case but all these lovely people keep popping up offering they're leftover cases for a few euro's. So i don't think fate wants me to upgrade. Thanks for the review, very much appreciated.
One thing might tip the balance... they were on sale for £129 in the UK over Black Friday. Not sure if that deal is still live though. But also, if you've got buds that are working still, we'd say stick with them. We're all for if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
You can modify the 8's sound to match the 75t's Bass quite well. So don't worry. The 8's are still a great upgrade in terms of fit, durability and battery life@@turboheadcrab666
I Loved the sound and App. Large tip used. Tight Seal. Deep Bass. But as soon as my ears would sweat... They'd come out. Useless. Returned, unfortunately.
But no touch. Pressing a button and forcing the bud into your ear canal is not ideal. Definitely circumstances where press works better - a run with gloves or beanie though, but for the vast majority of people all runs - these are not good
Wouldn't touch anything from Jabra, nothing but problems with them. Very good customer service but every pair they send go wrong within a few weeks at most
Definitely NOT the norm. Jaybird has been garbage for me. New set of Vistas, as well as the warranty replacements, and both lasted 3 months. Never had a bad set of Jabras. My one pair of 75t Actives have lasted 3 years, multiple runs each week, and run under water every single use.
My 65t elite actives have been awesome since 2019, unfortunately they are currently missing. Trying to see if any of the newer ones compare fit wise since I really liked those. Still hoping they turn up, but one day they’ll need upgraded regardless.
these suck they are nothing like the 7 actives the 8 active are smaller and not stable in my ears like the 7's and sound sucked worse jabra product i have ever owned

Same
Hi, how are they compared to the elite 4 active in terms of sound, bass / mids / highes, and soundstage ? Is it worth the upgrade ?
I agree. I've used so many types of wireless earbuds / headphones, and these are by far the best for sport and running.

Got a pair of these, really good quality
Thanks for the review gents.
Excellent review! Thank you so much!

Anyone else getting Prodigy/Keef vibes watching Keiran try to shake those earbuds out?

Sweat may not affect the grippiness, but how does earwax affect grip? I've yet to find non-winged earbuds stat stay in my ears.

I'd honestly stick with the 75t's. Upgraded to the 8 actives after breaking my 75t's and i miss the bass-heavy sound of the 75t's

How do they compare to the 75t? Worth the upgrade?
I would defo tell get them directly.
I wouldn't upgrade. I prefer my 75t's as they had superior punchy Bass
I love my 75t Active, but I am going to have to upgrade, because it broke down too many times, and now the warranty won't cover them.

Airpods Pro with foam tips are the best for running IMO. Pairs with apple watch beautifully too.
