    Some find it difficult to commit to 3 hours a week on RUclips, yet spend 10 hours a week scrolling other sites. I’m not judging, I’m guilty as well. Need to change my mindset.

    I think that the biggest problem with RUclipsrs now is their lack of strategy. Like they upload everything straight away, and then they run out of ideas. This business is about constant uploading, but not too many times per week (and also after I upload something, I use a lot of Famester to make that piece of content instantly viral and popular). It's better to upload like once or twice per week, and it also helps to avoid burn out.

    its easier said than done . i don't want to become a slave to this i want to sustain my mental health and have fun with this content stuff looking from the outside in it feels like the machine just wants to suck you dry and when u cant make anymore content you will be buried underneath all the other people trying to make it who will soon be sucked dried from their life force as well . and how are our video suppose to get discovered when youtube's search box is so limited now filled with more unrelated content and recommendation instead showing me all the people that have a title similar to what i searched for

If we stick with it, it’s gonna happen. Now is the time we go all in I believe in everyone was watching this video and who needs the motivation to keep pressing on. See everyone at the top.

    This video is very helpful for me. Hearing how Matt scaled his business helped me understand how to potentially use my youtube channel to scale up in my service/education industry. It was also helpful when Sean said to continue growing in the skills in my industry. That was validating because I focus on continuing my practice and study, but then I feel like I’m wasting time I should be using on the channel: I need to see my study and practice as part of the channel, as an asset.

    It would be helpful to send one of his old videos to two or three editors and ask them to do what they think is best. Those people can review his channel and make what they believe reflects his character and business well. Then when he gets the results he can choose the one who has the better vision. That would make the hiring part faster and minimize the training curve. 👍🏽

    What's the point of interviewing a person who has been making videos for TEN years, has more than a THOUSAND videos and only has 20 K subscribers? Isn't that an example of what not to do? The results speak for themselves.
    I have been subscribed to this channel for years and have joined VRA, don't get me wrong. But this doesn't make sense to me, unless this is a paid interview.

    • @jackieferrarimusic
      @jackieferrarimusic 4 месяца назад +5

      I think it has to do with the fact that he has substantial business coming from youtuve even with a small following

    • @Nassaldromus
      @Nassaldromus 4 месяца назад +3

      His use of RUclips is not as a business itself, but as a tool for his offline business. He's made hundreds of thousands in cash for his business through RUclips.
      That said, he himself mentions what he didn't do right at the beginning. It's a "things I wish I knew when I started" video after all.

    • @ThinkMediaTV
      @ThinkMediaTV 4 месяца назад +6

      Good question.
      1. Not a paid interview
      2. It depends on how you define success. Are views and subs success? Or hundreds of thousands of dollars? That for you to decide.
      Because of Matt's business model and money plan... his channel is probably earning 4X-10X the income of your average "successful influencer." Matt's results speak for themselves.
      Make sense?
      Ultimately, you get to decide how you want to define success and what your strategy is going to be.
      Personally, I'd rather have $100,000 in bank verses a few million views on my videos.

      To reiterate what was stated in other responses. Growing the biggest RUclips channel was never the goal. Getting in front of the “right” consumers so I can serve them and grow my business is infinitely more impactful and important to me than 100k subs or 10M views.
      It’s a great point and a great question.
      People should probably have an idea of what they want out of RUclips when they start,..

      I think the point is that if you dedicate a certain amount of time to something you can have success. Example: in January of 2014, I weighed 213 lbs. I decided I was fed up with being “fed up”. I began to spend thirty minutes a day (3.5 hrs a week) planning my meals and what I would eat for the day. Most importantly, I stuck to that plan. Now (after 10 yrs) I weigh 123. And have weighed close to that amount since Oct. 2014. We can accomplish much if we just put in the time to do it.
