I’m sure you’ve thought of this but in case you haven’t, you should scan your friend’s drawings into your computer so that you can use copies in your journals and cherish the originals. Love the Jane Austin book and kit! Sorry you and your husband had such a tough week, here’s to better days ahead! Thanks for all you share! ☮️💜

Thanks Nik! Learn so much from your videos. Think we all have those times when it seems that everything pops up all at the same time. It drives me crazy! Love your laidback style, especially after watching other RUclipsrs. I’ve been speeding some up and sometimes muting them to get through! Boy do I really appreciate you jumping right into the subject, not doing “shoutouts”, having annoying music, spotlighting trendy nails, blah blah blah… sorry had to vent🙈 my ADD is rearing it’s ugly head! And you do you…your way when you can. Love ya Nik! Keep up the good work. Thanks!❤😂🤣

When the game show Jeopardy starts recognizing amazing artists that teach on the internet, I will get this double Jeopardy question correct:" I wouldn't be me if I didn't print something upside down." Answer: Who is Nik the Book Smith? And Cheryl Parish will be heading to final Jeopardy! Love your videos! Inspiring, magical, informative, sometimes silly, but who doesn't love silly? Thanks for sharing the smallest of snippets with us. It always makes me smile!

I love the new kit and the journal you made with it. And this video came just in time to provide me with inspiration for a present for a friend's birthday. She is a big Jane Austen fan. And she loves dragons. So I made her a Jane Austen meets Dragons junk journal. Natalia's illustrations are stunning. 💕💕

We all have THOSE weeks 😁
Dickens is the same way... I’ve read the first chapter of the Christmas Carol at least 5 times over the years😂 I even tried starting in the middle of the book. 😏 They were written back when reading around a fire was all they had for relaxation and entertainment and they needed those few books they had to last a good long time 🔥 IMO
    Thanks again, Nik 💝

Funny, I can read Dickens all day but the flowery on and on love stories like Jane Austen put me to sleep. There's something for everyone. Try a different Dickens like Oliver Twist.

Okay, then. I did read Emma in May. Emma consists mainly of upper crusty people visiting each other and then gossiping about people not in the room. I also read the Scarlet Letter as delayed penance for reading only the Cliffs Notes for HS English Literature. That book is crazy [crazy] for contemporary kids. There are way too many issues and undercurrents for young readers to digest. I hardly knew how sex worked back in the sixties. Well, thanks for all the helpful hints. That’s why I still watch after all these years.🤪
