How to install the gate shut spring gate closer on a ranch gate

great invention. City said my gate has to be self closing. I got 2 smaller springs so goes both directions. this should satisfies the city

I put two on for tension both ways, gate closes either way, you should demonstrate that in action

would not work so well on a pannel gate, square tubing maybe but clamp turning might not work properly.
