This is so cool. This is one of the best teaching styles i've seen on youtube
Hi Jon, thanks so much for your videos. Straightforward and no-nonsense but subtly entertaining. Just one question: What criteria should I use to distinguish 也 and 都?or is it 都可以 (either is fine)?
哈哈哈哈你们的故事很幽默! 谢谢你们!

老师,谢谢您!你的录像带对提高我的中文水平有很大的帮助。我有一个问题:你为什么用 ”口”代替“个”?
We can use whatever 'yi dianr ye bu' or 'yi dianr dou bu'? Or there is any diffrence for using them?
thank you :) stay happy. amin
谢谢你。我一个你的视频也不错过
Thank you
謝謝你
Thank you! Is there any difference in using 也 and 都!
Not that I'm aware of :) But when I want to emphasize that I don't want something, I use 也 (我一杯茶也不想喝) In other I use 都. But that's just me :)
So I can say 我一杯茶都不想喝。
对吧
@@nuremisholihah7717 +1?
Thank you for the vid!
好课,谢谢老师! 有一件事我不太明白, 我想问一下... Is there a rule about when you use 也 and when you use 都? Or can you use them interchangeably?
useful
It is great video and very helpful materials. plz guys like comment and share! show some support
where can i find this movie? I wanna watch. if someone knows, please tell me.
Muito legal!!
Muito boa lição!
我学了很多!!
When do we use 都 Vs 也?
I mean也 and都 in this Grammar point? Thank you!
❤❤❤
Wait so for Apple measure word is 个 or 口
一个苹果 is an apple 一口苹果 is a BITE of apple
非常好!我有一个问题---请问, is 口 interchangeable with 个,吗?is it the MW for 苹果。 吗? 谢谢你 :^)
How to kwn that we have to use 都or也?
Or both ok?
Is their video for lesson 3.1.3?
How to find that movie in RUclips?
At 11:59 mins you say 我一口茶不想喝 isn't the classifier for cups 杯?
That's because besides the meaning of mouth 口also means sip when it comes to drinking or bite when talking about eating
Nice video, Can you explain the difference between 以后, 后来 and 然后 please. Thanks!
...以后 = after... 吃饭以后,5点以后
后来 = afterward. 一开始我喜欢学汉语,后来觉得太难就没再学了。
然后 = then. 首先……然后……最后
What if I wanted to say "I cant even buy one apple"
我連一個蘋果也不能買。
Is that right?
老师我有问题
When can one use "也" and "都"
“一点都 ”跟“一点也” 有区别吗老师?
这部电影很漂亮
How do you say the same sentences with questions words?Like I don't want to go anywhere
我哪儿也不想去
Wo zai nali ye bu xiang qu.. we used zai or not?? If not then give me reason
在我国,南方总是下雨。
To make this lesson greater you could have added the adverb "even" in some sentences.
Now I'm wondering how to say "He didnt' even drink a cup of coffee."
Instead of 一點兒 could one say 一點點? Such as 我一點點也不累。
可以的!Usually in Taiwan people don't use erhua (with the exception of 一会儿), so you use 这里(这儿),哪里(哪儿),一点点(一点儿)
@Desde 2009 You can use "连" for "even". I would say: "他连一杯茶都没喝。"
Today I didn't drink coffee at morning?? This is my sentence
When I use 也/都 + 没????? 没
我刚刚开始发布用中文沟通的视频播客... 但是我不能说我一点儿都不焦急!!
Yi Kou cha ye bu xiang.. kou means what
Interesting...That's the same way most bantu languages express ...Not at all...
In Swahili they say ... hata nukta....
Means...(not tired)Even a second...
Hi to both of you I find your videos feishang ting hao can I say it this way?xie xie nimen
Najoua ABOUDI Hi, thanks for your comment! “非常” and “挺…的” cannot be used together. You you can say one of the following
- 非常好
- 非常不错
- 挺好的
老师你可以hsk4级全部一起视频一样的地方我们会开一个一个看看,不是一个视频上面另外在下面我们不会学好了
This is funny cos in English "I don't want coffee" would suffice in that you wouldn't offer that person any coffee cos s/he just said "don't want coffee" so why would you be confused about that regarding quantity. No need to say "I don't want coffee at all" the first would suffice!!
11kwright actually, English does use degree to express emphasis. I mean that's why "at all" even exists in the first place.
片头怎么那么有意思哈哈哈哈
why u used wo mei dai qian... can i say wo bu dai qian?? wo yijian yifu dou mei mai??? i m very confused in mei or bu??? we used mei in past or in dont have sentences like wo meiyou qian??
没 negates sentences with 了 (completed actions). For example: 我带书了。I brought the book. -> 我没带书。I didn't bring the book. See how 了 and 没 work in this HSK 1 video: ruclips.net/video/7YfZcsh30Ow/видео.htmlm45s
Whereas 我不带书 would mean "I don't/won't bring the book"
BTW. I love the way you use both ENG and CHN while explaining.
But I think that the pace's kind of too slow. Maybe you should speed it up a bit? Not by talk faster, but cut off something that is not necessary? For example, the first part of the video (around 0.00-1.46) should be more shorter than that in my opinion. : )
Yeah good point! I'll try and make the objective discussion a bit more to the point :) Speaking English is hard for me but I hope with more practice I'll get more fluent at it :)
I thought you were Chinese American. Your accent in English is really good. Generally the videos are much shorter. To the OP, remember you can always speed it up if you'd like. I found it well paced. Thanks!
Sorry, I do not share Starlight’s opinion; that is to speed up your Cn speech. Because, it is the clear and slow pronunciation what I enjoy in your videos. If someone wants to catch the unusual grammar of an alien language, first he/she must focus onto the logic of that new structure. And it needs time. So, don’t change the speed, please. Anyway, when you intend to demonstrate how the grammar sentence works in the situation of a real conversation, your speech in enough fast. I think your Eng is so good as your Cn :)
Actually as a beginner - intermediate speaker, I find the present speech speed is perfect for hearing the actual tones and other tonal changes or inflections.
他说英语的很好
你是我的菜!! :p
понимаю только китайский...
Jintian zaoshang Wo yidianr kafei Dou mei he... just tell me why u used mei here...
“没” is for past tense.
Im confused how to use 也 and 都
Both is ok you can use both
Both are ok... Use what you like
Shouji, pingguo ditu yi ge ye bu neng shao dai... I can't understand bu neng shao dai concept
bu neng = can't , shao means "few / less", it sort of means "missing out" here, dai is to bring....literally you can't miss out bringing cellphone, apple and map
aj! i hate/love chinese!! ಠ_ಠ.. i cannot figure out what is the gramatical function of this construction “一點兒名詞”... it is not a “second topic” or is it?; it is not an indirect object, it looks like a direct object but then why the hell it is placed before the verb without 把 or 將?
