I skipped directly to what the video lists as “normal” speed because I can never understand what is being said when the words and sentences are slowed way down. I struggled through the entire story on “normal” speed - the voice was so gravelly and it still sounded to stretched out and slow. Finally when I got to “fast” speed I understood why. The creator has normal speaking listed as “fast speed” and for the other speeds has just slowed down the recording. That’s just awful - it’s misleading for newer learners to represent a slowed down version as “normal” (this is NOT a normal, natural speaking pace) and, if you are going to present slower speeds, just record them while talking slower! Don’t just slow down a recording - it results in this unnatural, bad AI sounding voice. No thanks.
