@2:04 If that shield on the polearm dude is larger than a small, which is what it looks like, it must be gripped in one hand while weilded as per the rules of play. Only a small shield may be weilded with out the use of a hand while strapped to the arm.
(Hi I'm the one with the shield) Its a Gorg buckler, 17" x 23.75", with the end tapered. Without it tapered it would be approx 404", from what see in the rulebook puts it under the 3 square feet max (432"). Unless I'm missing something....which is definitely possible as that shield was originally purchased for Belegarth events. Wasn't planning on doing the whole pole/shield bit in amtgard until about a month ago
