- I dint realize till after I recorded the video how much the sound of the concentrator/compressor is picked up by the mic. in person they are both very quiet.

Freaking great video, watched it ALL. I am looking to fill big tanks, and this was totally priceless, thanks for taking the time! 😀
Gotta give you feedback for what it's worth;
Great info & VERY much apriciated
Started a bit slow with repeating yourself & seemed like you struggled to get your point across
Gotta admit. I was a bit frustrated at first but
I realize your not a professional video maker glad I kept watching.
once you got going, you smoothed it out. So much so that I have to say you did a great job.
I can't believe how well you did just talking without reading off a script.
Considering you just talked it out without really editing, plus with the info you provided, I think you did an outstanding job.
Thank you! Thank you!
Look forward to more videos!
Well thanks, glad to hear ya got something outa it, and hey I warned ya it was gonna be a long video of a babaling idiot talking lol

Right on!!
big thanks to you for all this info on home fill. i watched the whole f in thing lol. im seeing 1200 on craigslist 1499 referb online. damn t tanks went from 20-30$ to 80/120$(im old lol). need to keep looking for used for my application (glass torch) looked all over my area. into the other states . heading to ebay now. maybe ill ask around local medical supply places too. thanks again
Thanks. Very informative. Answered every "fucking" question I had about filling large tanks for lampworking.
Haha right on, glad to hear!
One thing that would help me, is what exactly are all the fittings and hoses and sizes after the propriety home fill quick connect.
Here's the whole setup

is she still going strong? any updates almost a year now just found your channel. i have same setup but going into 4 different tanks. I only fill to 1400/1500 curious to see if you had to replace anything yet
I don't have very much time on it yet
I'm only at about 950 hours but it's been great and no issues!
They go a long time if you keep em clean and covered. Most of us won't use them as often as medical users do. Check the hours on the usual used unit selling for 1000 or more. Don't be tempted to oil it in the gas flow, oxygen + petro = fire. Dunno if the pump can be oiled externally.
Awesome video. Do you by any chance know where to get the whip hose? I want to connect an Invacare compressor directly to a CGA-540 tank (40 cuft) without a regulator without a pressure gauge.
Thanks, I forget where I got this one but if ya just search on the Internet there are tons of company's that sell them
@@tdm8817 i found one company that sells accessories on ebay. They want $74 for a 3 foot whip. Trying to get it cheaper.
Do you close the bleed valve and open the oxygen tank valve while filling the tank?
Yes
How long do those last full at about 10psi ? Time wise ?
I dunno but I'd guess a incredibley long time
@@tdm8817 ok thx I was making sure I wasn’t close to being out yet I only used 4 or 5 hours but my psi is low like it’s out I thought
So whats is your average lpm when filling? i have a 10l and cycles filling to low o2 at like 1 lpm.
I dunno, but a 250 cuft k cylinder takes about 62 hours, you could do the math from there
Wow!
They didn't even provide new filters with a rebuilt machine!)?!?!
That is bs anyway you look at it
Can we use it For Cutting metal right?
I have a link in the video description to another one of my videos #231 that shows what cutting with the refilled oxygen is like.
It will cut but not as clean as oxygen from the weld supply.
I paid 315$ for brand new one full like the one on your left but I don’t know how long it last til it’s out?
I've talked to a few guys that run them to 1,500 psi and say they got 15,000 hours.
But even if you manage to wear it out you can always just fix it and keep using it
@@tdm8817 I meant how long til a full one is empty ?
@@Akashic_Monk you mean for a K tank to go from 2,000 psi to 10 psi?
@@tdm8817 yes I used up all my oxygen in 4-5 hours at 8-12psi I bled lines each time and had 3 sessions just thought it would last longer than that ?
@@Akashic_Monk if your talking about running a glassblowing torch I can't offer any insight on that, I've never done any glassblowing. I got my oxygen setup here for metalwork.
That being said 4-5 hours sounds reasonable for a K tank.
Just went through this with linde Canada. Pick up bottles for my shop at auction, thought I got a screaming deal oxy/acet and cart for 500 and fuckers wouldn’t honour them.
What did the say the problem was? That you dint have proof of ownership or something?
How much that will cost
What are you referring to
Could have been condensed to 5 minutes…
Yes but if your looking for 5 minute videos then my channel is not for you.
