Did you ever consider getting a watercooled setup. You can basically get a number 9 size torch with a similar amp rating of a 26 give or take a little. We had the Euro style 26 with the stiffest hose I've ever come across before or since. No foot pedal, the trigger on the Euro torch couldn't be moved. Really great video. I have been wanting to get a battery-based system up and running like this for so many years. I would like to hear more about the AH rating, load tests, and your plans on how far down you plan on running the battery bank down, given the group 31 class of batteries being used. 50%? More, less? Have you noticed a better overall balance in amperage after having installed the center groups of jumpers? At this point the only suggestion I may offer is to put a 30 to 50 amp charge in 15 minute cycles on the batteries in an effort to rejuvenate them. I have pulse changer that automates the processes but am also going to try a welder or older charger for that purpose. I have been able to correct 2 batteries into a serviceable state, so I know it can work, with many others not working. I have also heard that a "weak" battery will have a much higher chance of being corrected than one that is more or less not taking a charge, which I tend to agree with. Please keep going and let us know how testing goes and what you end up applying this to.

We ran industrial miller 3 phase welders with an independent wire feeder that had a long pole hoisted up above the work. The pole spanned half the bay and the rest was spanned from the gun. I’d say the gun was 25ft and the pole was 15 or 20. Didn’t have much feed issues that I remember. I don’t remember the wire size but I’m sure it was larger. So, Factor 55 is 1 mile from my house, met the founder who yes got a great buyout from Warn, good on him. He was super cool and down the earth, and everytime we setup another winch on our jeeps we drive down and purchase a splicer for like 80 bucks and 80 bucks doesn’t even fill my 3/4 with diesel and barely gets me dinner with the wife. Why the splicer, I love my fingers and my family’s fingers and this keeps them a little safer. Secondly after removing the 10 pound badlands hook and attachment point you are a little safer should anything give way on the tow. The Factor 55 fairlead is far superior to the badlands, although two of our four badlands fairleads were fairly well built with no burs so we kept them.

Just finished watching a couple of your videos. Thanks for putting them together. You mention a couple of times a question ive been asking, how to identify victor usa torches and regulators. Ive been looking around trying to find a serial number code or list to help me with that but havent had any luck. Ive got a set of older Victor sr250/260 regs in my service truck on small tanks for the day to day but want to replace a set of Firepower 450/460 regs that i bought long ago when i was just starting out and broke. They served me well and i could rebuild them but the oxy doesnt have a relief and i want a set of older made in america Victor sr450/460’s, mainly to run a rosebud and to cut the occasional heavy plate when i need too. Having a way to identify the ones i want would help as i peruse ebay in search of them. I share your appreciation of old, well made tools. From when America made the tools that made the world. I also prefer the FBA on the regulator rather than the torch, easier to handle and get into the tough spots. I covet that set of 2 stage regs you featured in the video about the benefit of a two stage setup. The ones with the San Francisco lettering. Beautiful. I dont need the two stage either but it was interesting to hear the benefits. Long comment i know, but thanks again and be safe brother!

Thanks for the video! I'm trying to get my shaft bolt off, but whenever I turn it the entire impeller turns with it as well. Do you do anything special to get the impeller to not move when you're taking off that bolt? Also is the shaft bolt reverse threaded or normal?

@@maxwang5791 I forget if it's right hand or left hand. I should show it in the video. You should be able to pull out the starter rope and hold it to stop the engine from turning or remove the recoil and hold the engine flywheel. I think I just used a impact on it

Current price of Red Armour is $1 an ounce. Got to be near the most $$ now. I'd be using it at 50 to 1. should be totally fine. I've got Motul 800 I'm using in all my air coooled 2 strokes right now at 45 to 1. Thought it was expensive! Half the price of this stuff!

This has been my experience with this saw. Two blades down now. First one - heavy duty - bound up and screamed first use and all of the teeth were completely busted out. Was sent back to Milwaukee and they replaced it. Second one today - lighter duty thin material - barely used and numerous teeth look to be busted out/chipped off ... I'd try a Diablo blade but I'm down two blades already. Lifetime warranty on Milwaukee blades - so there's that.

Even if it’s a hair on the tight side it should loosen right up with a few minutes run time. I’d bet it’s a Chinese rail closer and they stamp their name on it. Hey at least it got the job done

Had my reverser out twice now.. broken tractor kit.. Quick question before I install for the sceond time... Did your input shaft and output shaft spin freely and independent of each other after the second time you had it apart?

@@tdm8817 Ok, that may be where I messed up the 1st time. I think the fwd clutch pack wasnt disengaged and still compressed from where I had it in the press to place snap ring in. I used my impact to put the nut on the output shaft knuckle and I noticed it free spinning loosely without movement of the input shaft (which wasnt the case the 1st time, there were engaged and I couldnt move them separately). When I installed it, barely enough tq to move an inch and took forever to go fwd to rev and vise versa. Didnt "bump" into gear like it used to. Btw, all clutches looked just fine, my fwd clutch spring was broken into 3 pieces. Thats the only damage I could find.
