I installed a 3in Manta exhaust. The only issue I had was soot build-up on the back door so I got them to make up an exhaust tip that pointed down slightly. Fixed the issue.

The main reason I got a chip was because the lag down low when I take off and 4x4. The chip fixes this issue.
I live in the NT where we have 130km limit on the Stuart Hwy. Overtaking is a lot easier and safer especially when you need to get past a 4 trailer road train.
Tune 5, I don't have to hardly touch the accelerator.
Tune 4 , I have to a bit more but after using tune 5 I don' want to go any lower.
I haven't gone any higher. No need to.
The best thing is my fuel usage has dropped.

Hi, Thanks for the videos, is chipping worthwhile in your opinion?

Footage of sound of exhaust revving would be good

No worries. I also use a 3 inch exhaust. I no longer use the chip due to some issues I had with this product and as a result received a refund.

    Hi,
Is chipping worthwhile? In my opinion it can be but the type of chip and what vehicle it goes into can be a positive or negative experience.
When selecting a chip you want one that does not change fuel pressures. You want one that is water proof. and last of all you need to look at the fine print on the chip warranty. When something goes wrong with your vehicle you have to prove if it was the chip or something else. I won't run a chip anymore because of the last point and the hassle I had.

Hi, Can you share your opinion of the performance difference between Standard, Tune 4 and Tune 5?

So I have the kit for my 150, 3 inch exhaust, snorkel, K&N intake filter and slightly bigger intercooler, running 285/60-18 and a 55mm lift. I am averaging 12.5L/100KM. I also have a bit of lag down low that I'm hoping this will relieve. I have the EGR safety kit and read out due to the high tunes available (Chip tuning stage 3 Dominator). What amount of loss of fuel economy did you get on setting 5? I have ~30 levels available. Was 5 the "off road only" setting? Anything above 15 is rated as "off road only", on mine. I am trying to get baseline from a true user prior to installing mine. Thx

There is a slight difference in sound. A bit more bass if you like but there is no drone and no increase in noise level.
Would I buy this exhaust again? Yes

    What dramas did you have?

I had an issue with starting and this is rectified with a chip that sources it's power from the battery instead of the sensor. The replacement loom had issues with quality and control and resulted in failure. As far as I know this has been sorted by Chipit.
Just of note, when selecting a chip you need to look at how it will affect your motor, in this case the injectors. If possible use a chip that changes duration of the injector and not increase fuel rail pressures.
