Lol so let me get this straight, McAfee want you to activate the subscription (pay them) before uninstalling it from your computer? And then you don't use the software, but you paid them? I think I'll just remove it like I always do, it's just a bunch of bloatware anyway.
McAfee is the biggest malware ive encountred and its so hard to actually get rid of it. What you can do is when the popups come pack after uninstalling is open taskmanager and find the program location. Then, forcefully close all versions that are running so you can delete the application. It is masked under the name 'servicehost'.
I have tried this app mutiple times on my Dell XPS 9500 with Windows 11 and the app keeps saying Uninstallation Incomplete. The McAfee services are still being run int he background and i can't even close them. Please help.

This is McAfee making it so difficult, not Windows. But use Revo Uninstaller if you're struggling, works great.

@@memstechtips You only have to activate it IF you want to use it again sometime in the future. Personally, I want nothing to do with McAfee.

I click uninstall/change on McAfee but doesn’t pop up the uninstall process
I've had that happen to me since I created the tutorial. You should use Revo Uninstaller or Hibit Uninstaller to force uninstall it.

It works, but sometimes McAfee is a pain to uninstall. In that case, use Revo Uninstaller to force uninstall it.
