It said that a normal gamejolt game was a virus, and it also never told me that I had virus even when I did have one, please don't get Mcafee.
btw, I got the virus off my computer don't worry.

Yeah, when I was playing a video game this McAfee website started popping up in my notifications and told me that there were 5 viruses but there were only 3 viruses which are fake, and just want you to pay them. In my opinion McAfee is just a virus itself.

      What's more invasive Mcafee or a Russian/Chinese hacker? 🤔

    • @RFGSwiss
      @RFGSwiss 7 месяцев назад

@@juancarlosmoreno9314 well. its a known circumstance that hackers use new exploits (0-day) which av-software cannot find at the point of use.
so, to answer this: mcafee. avoid hackers/viruses by not doing dumb stuff and you are fine.
ask yourself this: when was the last time, you actually found a virus? long time ago? you are doing fine then and have no need for av.

Fun tip about Mcaffee... it doesn't actually check the files. All it does is notice it is new, gets a hash of it, and send it back to McAffe's servers for a determination there. this could take days.

@@Kacper42PL Uses over 50% of your memory RAM, invasive emails, pop ups and targeted ads, fearmongering ads when you don’t have it installed and constant pop ups saying that your subscription is ending when you do. It has a lot of old people roped into the scam and has them blinded by the promise of protection. It also doesn’t delete itself fully when you delete it from your computer. I had to scroll on my files for hours looking for anything that said MCAFEE.

It sounds like you might be receiving pop-ups from a pre-installed version of McAfee. Many devices come with McAfee pre-installed even if you don't remember installing it yourself. Here’s how you can check if McAfee is installed on your device and how to uninstall it if needed:
      For Windows:
-Open the Start Menu: Click on the Windows icon in the bottom-left corner of your screen.
-Go to Settings: Click on the gear icon to open the Settings menu.
-Select 'Apps': In the Settings window, click on 'Apps'.
-Check the list: Scroll through the list of installed applications to see if McAfee is listed.
-Uninstall McAfee: Please follow the article - www.mcafee.com/support/?articleId=TS101331&page=shell&shell=article-view
      For macOS:
-Open Finder: Click on the Finder icon in your Dock.
-Go to 'Applications': In the Finder sidebar, click on 'Applications'.
-Look for McAfee: Browse through the list of applications to see if McAfee is present.
-Uninstall McAfee: Please follow the article - www.mcafee.com/support/?locale=en-US&articleId=TS102986&page=shell&shell=article-view. The instructions are at the bottom of the page.
If McAfee is installed and you don't want to use it, uninstalling it should stop the pop-ups. If you find that McAfee is not installed and you’re still receiving pop-ups, it could be a sign of adware or another issue. Running a full system scan with a reputable antivirus program that you trust is a good next step.

my Lenovo broke after having it for about 8 months because i played a game called Rust on it, i was sold it from Harvey Norman as a gaming PC but when i went back they said it deffinitley isnt, so thye scammed me, then i got an actual gaming PC from them, decent PC but man they messed me around on everything, lost my passwords that they said out loud to the whole store and so much more, never going back their again and never buying a Lenovo again, i heard they also have security issues, get TUF gaming PC military grade plastic, Intel does overheat though AMD is better on that front tbh but not as powerful but better bang for your buck, theyr probs gona stop making their top tier GPU's to focus on the mid tier so theyl probs be catching up on mid tiers and theyl probs sort out some chinks while intel is kinda brute forcing it, which is even worse for laptops since you cant just increase air flow really but some models you can buy air coolers for, the mini ones that go on the side then theirs the big ones that go underneath but youl be paying a bit for something thats not gonna be able to achieve that much really since it cant get in their properly., the mini ones probs arnt to bad though@@dnnisamn6886
