I love your scrunches .
I love the ladder stitch. I have been sewing a very long time and have never been taught that. Thanks.
Oh great! So glad it was helpful!
Thank you, I worked out the easy one a few years ago for myself, and made several, but this sausage one is a revelation, wasn't sure how that could work when you started, and will definitely have a go at that, it looks so neat!
I bought a serger used last month and it came as is. I figured it out kind of. It's the exact same as yours. All excited I can learn how to use it properly
I made a couple of these today and tomorrow I will teach my 6 year old grand-daughter to make them. It will be a special Mimi and Hailey day! Thanks Catherine!
Oh, that makes me so happy! (And I love that you're Mimi to your grandkids!!)
I usually do how you started the 2nd one, but put the elastic in and zigzag around the whole thing. No having to turn a tube, etc.
Of all the scrunchies, this is the scrunchiest scrunchy.
Lol, thanks! Goal met!
Don't mind me. Just setting that ball a-rollin' fer ya! hahahahaha
Thanks so much for your support! You're the best YT buddy!!
I always have a lot of scraps left when I sew, now I know how to use them, thanks! I like the hair tie a lot, it is really cute! :)
Awesome! Thanks, and I hope you have fun making srunchies!
Ok. To the sewing machine i go.
This'll go with my apron!! 👌
Haha, I love the image of you with your matching apron and scrunchy!
@@CatherineSews Thank god you also taught me how to make boxer shorts!
@@Maplecook Lol, you'll have a matching 3-pc ensemble. Awesome!
You have the best videos! Should we always cut the long side with the selvage so there is no fabric stretch or it doesn't matter?
Thanks so much for watching, and for your kind words! For the scrunchy, you can cut it in any direction, even completely off grain. And you can make it from a stretchy fabric or a non-stretch. Have fun with it!
