NGP VW Atlas Project Riptide - B2BFAB Lift Kit and RGM Rearguard Install

Our friends from B2BFAB stopped by the shop recently to show us their new Camber Correcting Lift Kit for the Volkswagen Atlas, Tiguan, and MK7/MK7.5 Golf Sportwagen, and we put this video together to document their installation on our Atlas project, Riptide. Installation for B2BFAB's lift kit was straightforward, and with the high-quality materials they chose we know this kit is built to last. Riptide features a bunch of B2BFAB's Atlas upgrades, including the VR6 Wookie Pipe resonator delete, and their BFT Fit Blocks in the front inner fenders.
While Riptide was in the shop we also installed an RGM Rearguard to keep the rear bumper free of any scuffs or gouges. If you want to grab these upgrades for your Atlas, you can follow these links:

I have the 2022 atlas Se 4motion with the 245/60/18 size tires.
What is the biggest size tire I can fit on there? Without having to lift it and with no rubbing.
I would like to put a little more aggressive tire. I’m thinking the toyo open country.

Did you remove the 10 bolts around the axle or the center bolt in the middle of the rotor?

What’s the biggest tire’s size I can put on after I installed this kit? I’m thinking about 275/65/r20, what do you guys think? Thanks

We were using 275/55R20 tires on ours. You could probably fit the 275/65R20 tires as there is a little more clearance left with the tires we were using. However, we haven't tested this ourselves. Also, you'll want to use the B2BFAB BFT Blocks. Without them, the front tires will rub.

What size tires, I’d like to do 17’s but i wonder what size tires that could take and will 17 inch rims clear the calipers?

Always depends on your offset. Wherever you order tires and rims from should be able to tell you if the setup fits your vehicle.
