We're back with another install and part from my friends at B2BFAB!! In this one we are working on my friends new 2023 Volkswagen Atlas R-Line and making it sound just a little better. If you guys are like me, I think the VR6 is probably one of the best sounding engines out there. Taking a look under the Atlas it is restricted by a whole bunch of cats and a resonator. The Wookie Pipe from B2BFAB takes care of some of that and deletes the resonator to give it more of the Wookie sound.
This install is extremely easy and requires minimal tools. If you have the smallest amount of mechanical ability you can feel confident doing it in your own driveway. B2BFAB does include a set of printed instructions that will guide you along the way if you have any questions, but feel free to also use my video as a guide. Here is a list of tools needed:
"Chain" style exhaust pipe cutter
Ratcheting socket wrench
13mm socket
15mm socket
Flat head screwdriver or small pry bar
Metal file to debur the exhaust (if needed)
We are in talks with B2BFAB to do their lift kit on this Atlas, along with some new wheels and proper offroad tires so keep an eye out for those videos in the future. What did you guys think of my friends Beetle? Is that something you guys would be interested in seeing in future videos? Hi Matt. Good work sounds really good. That's a beast of an Atlas too, really nice spec.
I think we met Josh at Long Doggers back in July. Seeing the Beatle get air ride fitted would be great content.
I've had a change of car here. Sad to see the S4 Avant go but was time to move on. Have gone for a 2021 VW Arteon Shooting Brake (wagon) R-Line. Will IG you a picture. I dont think you guys get the shooting brake in the US.

Also is you want it to be quieter for any reason out it back into normal drive mode. It’s less aggressive, but i enjoy mine especially on these 28 degree early morning start ups,

Haha I know right. They never did the rear muffler delete. Maybe in the future. If they do I will definitely post a video of it.
Quick question by removing the resonator will that void the new car warranty ?
It would not. A resonator is only there to decrease noise.
Is that the V6 or 4?
