INGREDIENTS
For the Crepe Batter (I use a kitchen scale to measure the weight)
1 cup (120 g) cake flour (You can use all-purpose flour, too; If you use a measuring cup, follow this method: Fluff your flour with a spoon, sprinkle it into your measuring cup, and use a knife to level it off. Otherwise, 1 cup of flour will end up weighing more than 120 g.)
1 Tbsp sugar
½ tsp kosher or sea salt (I use Diamond Crystal; use half for table salt)
2 large eggs (50 g each w/o shell)
1½ cups (360 ml) milk (whole or reduced fat; if you measure your flour with a cup measurement, this tends to yield more flour than if you measure with a scale, so you may need to adjust the consistency of the batter with additional milk)
3 Tbsp (43 g) unsalted butter (melted; melt the butter in a microwave or a small saucepan)
For Cooking the Crepes
1 Tbsp neutral-flavored oil (vegetable, rice bran, canola, etc) (for cooking crepes)
For Fillings/Toppings (Optional)
confectioners’ sugar/powdered sugar
lemon
Nutella
maple syrup
honey
banana
strawberries
blueberries
chocolate syrup
For Fresh Whipped Cream
1 cup (240 ml) heavy (whipping) cream
2 Tbsp sugar

How to Make The Best Crepes (Recipe) クレープの作り方 (レシピ) - Хобби
I own a Japanese crepe shop in Canada and Nami’s crepes are perfect.
Really though all her food is. This should be your go to channel for Japanese food.
Aww thank you so much for your kind words! I hope I get to visit your crepe shop! What's your name and which city?
@@justonecookbook The name is Wisdom Cafe
It is in London, Ontario.
I lived in Fukuoka for a few years. That is where I met my wife. Doing Japanese crepes was her idea. I wanted to do okinomiyaki but we started as a retail tea shop with a 150 teas and she thought the little bit greasy smell of okinomiyaki is the wrong smell for a tea shop.
My son absolutely loves every recipe I make by you. He said he can eat your Japanese Hambagu everyday. He eats it every week so it might be true.
Thanks for all the great work you do.
As a Belgian, I approve of this recipe for pannenkoeken.
Usually the first one fails. My trick is to bake the first one with more butter, less for the rest
Thanks so much for letting me know!
My childhood I grew up in Japan. My dad was Air Force and my mom is from Okinawa. We lived in Fusa for 10 years. My dad drove a bus to and from Narita airport and I would go with him on the weekends. I always went to the roof where they made crepes and would get one with strawberries, cream, and chocolate syrup! 😋 I’ve never had a crepe live up to that since and I’m 44 now. I’ll have to try this recipe!❤
I've been watching your videos for roughly six months now and have enjoyed every single one please keep up the great work and the joy that you are making these videos
Beautiful food, lovely video.
Looks so yummy
I'd love to try to make these. They are so versatile and simple. I am also going to try some of the hot pots and soups with udon. The weather has gotten cooler and that seems perfect. Thank you for the great recipes and all of the detailed instructions, too.
delicious & easy prepare
Delicious.
Excellent
I’m Russian and crepes are very common in Russian kitchen. We usually fill them with farmers cheese, meat or chicken. I loved your recipe, it’s basically the same way we make it. Just mine don’t always come out the way I expect them to be. Thank you for a great recipe.
The Japanese style ones looked just like the ones I had when in Japan! They were so tasty!
I wish to go back again one day...
Thank you so much!!
I look forward to trying to make this.
What wonderful and light meal
Super 👌 ❤❤❤thank you for sharing I'll definitely try tomorrow 😊 😍
Hope you enjoy!
I've been watching one Japanese crepe making video after another recently, so I started craving crepes lol. But I found out that where I live they're never filled with cream and served in a cone shape like in Japan, and they're also pretty expensive. So this video recipe couldn't have come at a better time, it even includes different topping ideas including the classic Japanese style, it's perfect! 😫 I've watched this channel for a while now but never dared to follow a recipe, I'll be following this one for sure haha. Keep it up Nami and team!

ははは!どうもありがとう!
Wonderful 🙏
Thank you!!!
Awesome crepes reminds me of when I was in Japan they had all kinds of crepes 😋
So good, aren't they! I miss them!
I've been making crepes (My father is French-Canadian) since I was about 5 years old. While there are some differences in the technique (French crepes usually have very little brown colour), the recipe is very good. This looks delicious, and I love the style difference. French don't usually include sugar unless it's a dessert crepe, but I *always* put some sugar in. And it's pretty common knowledge among crepe makers that the first one is always terrible! I look at is as "it's just seasoning the pan correctly for all the ones to follow". Love your videos, I'm a new subscriber.
"seasoning the pan correctly for all the ones to follow" I love that! I hope you don't mind that I quote that from now on. It's perfect!
@@blahaj784 I'm flattered that you'd quote me, please, feel free to do so!
I just think of the first one as a treat for the cook!😁
I'm French but still watching cos it's so aesthetic!!!
Aww thank you!!
Yummy 😋
Thank you!
Yum! I love crepes! I love mine Swedish style with Lingonberry compote or jam and powdered sugar 🤤

Nice with proper amount in grams, love it
It's a lot easier with using a scale (less things to wash!). :)

@@justonecookbook you're welcome and enjoy the rest of your day
I was looking for pepper steak rice recipe. Could you make one please?
These crepes look so good! Where do you find the eggs? The yoke is so orange and remind me of the eggs in Japan.
Can I use these crepes to make a mille crepe cake?
Beautiful! I love Japanese style crepes 😊💕
Thanks so much!
Can you please please please make Japanese shoyu ramen please.

Following you from Japan.Thank you for your great recipes. Please,I eat Halal food and I would like to know which ingredient I can use instead of mirin? I think you have already spoken about that, but I really don't remember when and where it was 😁
Hello!! I hope this pantry page is helpful! www.justonecookbook.com/mirin/
@@justonecookbook Thank you I
i have been watching your video since octopus balls recipe, all these upgraded videos are nice but i still miss your voice!
🇯🇵🇧🇷👍
Why weigh the bowl for eggs and milk?
I use metrics for many of my recipes. It's a lot easier to be consistent.
so how about giving the weight for the recipe? instead of volume?
Way too much sugar. Try using honey instead. It's better for you and tastes better, too.
Then again, it's still French. Ugh!
😈😈😈😈😝😁😁😁😁
Yes, totally up to you!
