Looking for some help if possible. Got this setup for my dad (using 3rd generation AirPods) and Live Listen works but it picks up his voice as well through the mircophone and causes an echo/reverb, which makes it unusable. Is there any way it can negate his own voice being fed back to him please?
As far as I have been able to tell, this does NOT work with AirPods (non pro version). It’s possible the feature was discontinued for the lower tier AirPods after the video was made.
Okay, not tell me how I can use air pods to help my hearing without a cellphone. I don't have a cell phone. I can afford the expense. I have a landline as part of my internet/wifi package.
If you or someone can buy you a used iPhone with proper software but that could be out of your budget about $200 for used phone and $100 for airpods . Walmart has over counter cheap hearing enhancers for about $50 . Hope that helps ?
Airpods make no sense because the sound comes from the bottom of your phone where the microphone is located. This means to get the best sound you have to aim the bottom of the phone toward someones mouth.
Thanks for doing this video. Quite informative. Take care.
Thanks for posting you have helped me more than you realise. Many thanks!!!
We're so glad! Are you using AirPods as hearing aids now?

Are there earbuds that can be used this way with an Android phone?

Unfortunately, we don't believe there is a workaround for your particular circumstance.

I tried them for hearing and did not help at all
Did you call the manufacturer? You may just have a defective device.

Do you mean "iPods" or "AirPods?"
Thanks for noticing that.@@SeniorLivingOrg
