  • A simple mistake which many people can make, and that it is cutting off that piece at the top of your number plate.

    Great video 👍. My buddy back in the day cut his off on his 91yz250 for that very reason (cool factor🙄😂) and when he landed off a small jump it ripped the brake line out of banjo fitting at the bottom caliper. 😂🙄.

    Good tip I didn’t know that was the purpose. Do you ever cut down bars for running single track and installing bark busters? Been cutting between 3/4 and 1” off but then have issues with wrap around fitting. The single track here in Oklahoma and Texas area is really wooded and need to fit between certain tree sections.

      Jacob Drain we usually only cut a half inch off max for our trail bikes.

    Never knew that thought it was if crashed you didn't loose your number plate lol.. Your way makes more sense.
