    Really like the fold down brush guard feature. Good idea.

      I agree it provides better protection than the T264 had but doesn’t get in the way

    Bought one 2 years ago. 540 hours on it now.
    The loader is strong, but the back end is light. With fluid filled rear tires, rotary cutter on and 320 lb of cement on the back of the rotary cutter, the loader can still pick the rear wheels of the tractor off the ground before you get close to the 2000 lb rated lift capacity. Most I have lifted feeing it was firmly on the ground was 1200 lb of 10 ft long 2 7/8 drill stem pipe (fence post material)
    Most of the hours were put on digging a 120 ft diameter, roughly round pond to appx 12 ft deep. I did add teeth to the bucket.

      Loader operating lever... blue locktite the stick into the cast metal piece. Or the thing will never stay tight and you'll wobble out the threads. I relpaced my cast piece with one machined from steel at appx 150 hr. Local shop made the piece for $20.
      It can also bend the 3 point lift arms pushing back with the box blade... so be careful. I did get them straight with a 3 ton hydraulic jack. (had to take them off the tractor)
      If doing quick hitch, do not get the Pat's or the similar ones. Get one with a frame.

      put colored zip ties on loader quick connects. The colors on the tape will fade out.
      Rear remotes used to be optional. I did have them put on.

    I'm going next week to look at a 2100 or 2500 Branson. Very heavy built. Manual shift. Hydrostat is okay but I'm used to manual gears and manual PTO. The 2515 will serve you well. Good review, enjoy your new tractor.

    Nothing like a New ,bigger ,better Tractor to make ALL the lifting,lugging,hoisting,heiveing,carrying, cruzing chores EASYER. Just wondering if you "Had" to get another "Hydro-howl-o-slack-o-matic" drive system; when a 12×12 gear drive shuttle shift transmission was available in this model? Because 25hp gear drive = 32-33hp hydrostatic of pushing-pulling-plowing POWER,( NOT to mention ALL that NOISE from hydrostatic drive). Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.

      Didn’t Have to get the hydrostatic for me but the Mrs wouldn’t drive it with shuttle.

      @BeaverTownOutdoors  Год назад +1

      Yes it can do two functions at once but it is a bit slow to do it. My 264 couldn’t do it at all, the one I had that did it best was my Kubota BX

      They also turned into the new Bad Boy 4025.

    Im new here and I am about to pull the trigger on a tractor.
    I have been looking at the branson for years and have always been thought they looked tough but sceptical of the dependability.
    Here lately it appears the spec and quality is far surpassed some other manufactures.
    I could really use a tractor. Im willing to buy green red orange white, purple or any color. I can get a full package of everyrhing i need for less than just a tractor from the main stream suppliers But I want it to be dependable and last.
    I want a Branson but so many folks around here say no. Better get green. Better get orange. Better get this or that.
    I have a Branson dealer about 20 mins away.
    Could you Branson owners please help me?
    Im looking at a 2515H or R as well as a 3515H or R.
    25 HP no DPF or 35 hp DPF?
    Which ones worth what?
    With the TYM is Branson gonna be around or phased out?
    As far as working with the tractor:
    I want a grapple with 3rd funntion. And a 5 foot cutter for bush hogging.
    Any help yall can give me with as much detail would be awesome.
    Like for anyone this is a big purshase for me and I just want to be certain whichever route i go there will be years of dependable service. Parts and repair if needed.

      The 2515 is 25hp and is below the requirements for DPF or DEF the 3515 and bigger ones have DPF but I don’t think any of the Bransons require DEF. Don’t have many hours on this one yet however it is definitely more stout and has had zero issues thus far. It has definitely been an upgrade from the TYM 264. I will say that as heavily built the tractor is, if it wasn’t for the extra cost and maintenance that comes with emissions equipment I would like to have the extra 10hp. But I have not found any lack of ability due to the lower horsepower.

      Oh and as far as better buy green I have plenty of friends who are worshippers in the house of the green deer and they have as many or more issues than others but were happy to shell out the extra money for that green paint and proprietary attachment setup (JDQA)

    • @edwardgrobe2848
      @edwardgrobe2848 Год назад +2

      John Deere doesn't paint them green for nothing and this year 2023 saw across the board 20% increase in price. I'm not paying 45,000 dollars for a 50 hp tractor.

      @williamiverson903 Год назад

      Yes the Branson name is going away. The 2515 will now be painted orange as the new Bad Boy 4025. Parts should be plentiful for years to come.
