    Is everyone in my family getting teeny tiny sweater ornaments next year? Yes, yes they are!
    Absolutely amazing Magali! Thank you so much for making this!! I’ve wanted to do this for so long but felt quite intimidated. You make it seem so manageable. 🥰

      Sorry it took so long to actually make the video. Haha luckily these are so easy I make two in an hour!

    Clearest tutorial for miniature jumpers on You Tube! Many thanx. One can/should use the pause button & release for next row instructions, repeating same to finish in response to anyone who thinks this is "too fast"! *****👍

    This was a useful video for helping me learn how to follow along to a written pattern! I know this isn't a beginner video and I've been able to google or find other youtube videos for all the other techniques.. the only thing I can't figure out is how to pick up the stitches on hold for the sleeves. does anyone know the name of the technique so I can look up a video for that lol. I really just don't know how to reintroduce free yarn back into the project.

    • @theknityorker
      @theknityorker  9 месяцев назад

      Glad to hear. You just pick up a bit of new yarn as you would normally, carefully so it doesn’t get pulled out. As you knit, it will stay there. It’s not really a technique maybe that’s why there aren’t that many videos? You can look up “picking up stitches for sleeves” maybe

    Just found your video and I would like to know if you can knit this with straight needles instead of knitting in the round. Is there a written pattern?

    • @theknityorker
      @theknityorker  2 года назад

      Yes there is a written pattern, the link is in the description. But no, you can’t. This was written for circular needles

      You can , you just have to sew it together after. It will look like a cardigan. You just purl all the knit rows.

    My sleeves keep turning into purl stitches as I go even though I am knitting the stitches. Not sure how I’m managing to get that all backwards. Anyone have a fix/tip for that?

    • @theknityorker
      @theknityorker  Год назад

      Take care of how you’re picking up the stitches. It sounds like you’re knitting from the inside of the sleeve rather than form the outside which is making them inside out (Purl side out)

      Cushion of Joy has a similar video and she mentions that the Kfb stitches (well, the B stitches) look like they have a purl bump. So your Ps may actually be Ks that just have the bump? Hope you figured out the issue!

      @theknityorker  3 года назад +1

      You really need to know how to knit in the round, and increases for this pattern. Even tho it’s small, it’s not for beginners.

    To confusing. I don't know what a kfb is. Plus she's going too fast.
    She's assuming everyone knows what she is talking about.
    This video is not for beginners.

      Google is free. And yes indeed, I never said this is for beginners. It is not.

    • @theknityorker

      There is a paid pattern on ravelry but it’s slightly different. This was a modification from someone else.
