i remember feeling the same way!! i had to watch a lot of different videos and read a lot of different forums to get some level of confidence to do it. once you start taking it apart, there's no going back!
Exceptional. Could not find anything that matched my model, but your attention to detail helped me find a way to replace the belt, without removing the Back panel. Great Job.
Glad you were able to do it without removing the back panel! I noticed the same thing, every model is a little different but hoping any details of the video can help someone else.
Great job! Taking apart is always the easy part. Putting it back together the same way you took it apart is always the nerve wracking for me! Especially with all those pieces.
Thank you so much for this video! This helped a ton and you explained and showed everything thoroughly. Although mine was a little different, we were able to figure it out. Now we have a new belt and clean dryer. Thank you!
Hopefully I don't have to do this again! I think I tried doing this through the front only, but it's hard when you can't see the pulley/wheel and not sure what you are exactly doing!
Thanks! I always fear when you have to put everything back and you find yourself with extra screws at the end, so I try to organize/remember everything I'm taking apart!
What system do you use to keep track of the disassembly/reassembly process?? I’ve messed up many a project simply because I lost track of the reassembly
Does the motor spin when the belt is broken? my belt broke on a Duet WED9610XWO but I cannot hear the motor turning either, you mentioned fuses? where are they and hot to test them?
it's been a while. I don't remember hearing any motor spin when the belt was broken. Also the fuse check was around 5:47 where those wires being tested with my multimeter
@@honeydotryhard7386 thank you I checked it out and there is a switch on the pulley to kill motor if tension on belt is lost. Mine was just a belt replacement
I have a whirlpool washing machine front loader that’s on the blink - but too intimidated to give it a try. What forum did you go to or RUclips channel for help? Thx for any advice- I’m a new sub - also loved your Ryobi gas edger hack with 80v Greenworks universal trimmer- I just bought the Greenworks too. So I’m excited that I saw your video. You’re awesome 👏
Very helpful. Spent $13 on a new belt and with this video fixed my dryer without a problem. Thank you!
avoid at least a couple hundred $$$ for service repair!
Never would have had the confidence to do this without your video. I did it, It was the belt and now it's repaired! Many Thanks!

Nice video. Reminded me of the steps required and how to thread the belt. Thanks!
Thanks to you, I was able to replace the broken belt on my WP Duet dryer with relative ease.
Nice work!
Thankyou so much for this video, Great attention to detail and step by step instructions.
Thank you so very much. I tore the whole thing apart and put it back together BY MYSELF thanks to your video!😁😁😁

Thank you for recording this video. Helped me on my dryer. Busted pulley wheel. Saved me some $! 👍

glad to hear!
thanks for helping me fix my dryer :)
Thank you for this video. I was able to fix my dryer by myself! Great tip about the system to keep track of all the screws.
Glad it helped! Yea learned the hard way when you don't keep track of things - you forget what screws go where, especially when there's a lot of them.
Very informative and helpful. Thank you!
You dont have to take back cover off...can be done throughout front side only
How do you do that buddy ?
Please explain how you were able to complete this task without removing the back cover.
Hopefully I don't have to do this again! I think I tried doing this through the front only, but it's hard when you can't see the pulley/wheel and not sure what you are exactly doing!

So replace all this. What else could this be ?
I have the same identical dryer I have to do the same thing I have to replace the belt

How long did this take? A 10 minute job will take me 3 hours, so if it took 3 hours for you it will take me 9 lol
This took me all afternoon, but I was also recording.
