i truly hope we see a dlc where ratchet, clank, kit and rivet meet the lobaxes on their new dimensional home. but the future is uncertain. one can only hope.
There's a fifty-fifty chance of the Lombaxes being huge racists.
I hope it’s not just DLC. It should be it’s own full length game. The entire future series leads up to finding the Lombaxes and they won’t make it some 2 hr dlc. That would be very disappointing
Insomniac probably not gonna make DLC. Since they have another project to make which is the new spider man game, so as of rn, they are in the spider man cycle and they are developing it. We probably ain’t getting a new ratchet and clank in like 5-6 years Imo

My childhood man ! I remember I finished one of the games and the cut scene where clank gets separated and sent somewhere else while they gave ratchet to see his people but declined because he wanted to save his best friend! So I've waited for years to even get this close !!!

What a coincidence you uploaded a video about this game and I just so happened watch some game play of of it.
I've played nearly every single Ratchet and Clank game. I remember the first, playing it as a little tyke. And that soundtrack ... Still remember it to this day.
And not once during all those years did I really stop to think about how depressing it is for Ratchet. Beleiving he was the only one of his kind.
I love this new angle they're taking and actually going into his past and his species. Really gets me hyped to buy a PS5 when I can find one. That and Horizon Forbidden West. Can't wait.

Wait wait wait... so those video recordings spoke of Lombaxes being scattered across many dimensions and they are all trying to move into a single one. Is that right?
But why were they scattered? It makes sense to me that they would be "scattered" because they naturally inhabit many dimensions. So... was the plan to find ALL Lombaxes across ALL dimensions and move into a single one?... WHY?
I thought the original reason they moved was because Tachyon threatened them and they were basically driven out. Maybe they were even blackmailed, as Tachyon was making threats that if they don't flee, war will continue and many inhabitants of their universe will suffer.
But this story talks only about Lombaxes that inhabited Ratchet's dimension. And Tachyon never originally had means to travel and thus threaten the other dimensions. So I don't think there was ever a need to round all Lombaxes from all other dimensions. Why would there? Unless something was threatening all of them. But that something wasn't Tachyon. He wasn't that powerful. I don't think so.

The sad thing if we want another ratchet and clank we need to wait for another PS so this story will be long to be ended.
I really doubt it. This is just the beginning of PS5’s lifespan and we’ll likely see at least one more Ratchet on it before the next generation.
