- They did not just do that... There's this one reference in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, one which gives rise to multiple questions, like WHY? This one thing in the game has been a can of worms for years and yet for some reason, it's still there. This gets us curious, let's talk about it.

Maybe she didn’t know what type of creature Angela was.
Maybe when Angela and Rivet met, Angela wore fullbody armor to disguise herself again like she did when she first met Ratchet? Rivet might not have been aware she was a lombax then and still could have met the same Angela Cross

@@SuperJSM that's possible too, although Angela being a Lombax is up for debate, maybe she was a Megacorp experiment that Fizzwidget saved and her employment under his wing or maybe a Hybrid of sort, either way still such an oddity in the series that needs some answers going forward, along with other abandoned R&C characters like Big Al and Skrunch deserve another chance in a future game, not just crappy retellings of games we played years back.
2 things…
1. Angela may have a tail. I know the news says female lombax don’t have tails however the world hasn’t seen a lombax in decades (minus ratchet).
Angela could be hiding it much like a Ratchet did in Deadlock
2. From the beginning I always though Rivet was mixed with something. Lombax come in the colors of white and yellow… and River is blue. It’s a stretch but a possibility
7:12, well Angela Cross is known for using disguises. I think it makes sense if she deliberately withheld the fact that she is a Lombax for safety during the events of Tools of Destruction, when Tachyon was hunting Lombaxes. So she was in Zordoom prison with Rivet and did reveal her name but did not reveal to Rivet that she was also a Lombax. Yeah I think this all makes sense. Angela was hiding in Rivet's dimension to get away from Tachyon, at that time it would be safer for Rivet if she wasn't aware of this and wasn't aware of Tachyon, in case she tried to find a way to the dimension where Tachyon was in an effort to find other Lombaxes, which would only bring Tachyon to Rivet's dimension.
I think everything is gonna come full circle when Ratchet & Rivet visit the Lombax dimension. There could be a case where we see everyone get involved for one big plot - Angela, Max Apogee, Talwyn, Sasha, Qwark, Nefarious (who i think will surprise us as him coming to help everyone) & yes... even Tachyon.
Tachyon I'd imagine escaping his ''prison'' (comics explain this) after the Emperor abused the Dimensionator.

My personal theory on Angella is since she worked in the genetics lab of megacorp, what if she experimented on herself giving her lombax dna, but it wasn't perfect thus the no tail. What if she is a lab experiment hybrid?? She was trying to work on a genetic creature designed to look cute and cuddle. aka the Protopet. and we all know how megacorp is with safety standards after all.....
It would explain the tail controversy once and for all.
I like to imagine that in Rivets dimension, female lombaxes have tails while the males don't. I mean it would add to the theme of their being polar opposites to Ratchets.
My theory is Angela did have a tail but lost it, and she's clumbsy because she used it for ballance.
Personally I think we'll see Angela again in a future game, both Angela and Max are likely in the Lombax dimension though why they haven't come back yet could be due to a number of reasons, but I have no doubt we'll see them again when Ratchet and Rivet enter the Lombax dimension.

@@VtnVivi I picture the Lombax Dimension being comprised of lombaxes from across the multiverse governed by a council with two important for the story, one being Ratchet's own Grandmother(mother side) who'll be dismissive of ratchet due to harboring some resentment/ hate for his father, and another being the big bad evil lombax who'll use Ratchet's entry to the dimension and exposing the Lombax secret to start a war, Angela and Max are still alive but imprisoned, and the gang may end up causing an all-out civil war.
Id say Angela is halve lombax, her mother was Lorna Cross, mentioned by Alister.
The father could simply be a similar species..
It could be that Rivet mentioned The Angela, but didn't view her as a lombax.

Considering that Rivets dimension has a series of opposites w.r.t Ratchets, I can see IG making it so that in Rivets dimension, female lombaxes native to that dimension have tails while the males don't. Much like how Rivet, a female is the opposite of Ratchet, a male. Likewise for Kit and Clank respectively. And a competent Neferias vs an incompetent one.

The hidden dialog is a nice touch to the game. I discovered the Angela dialog by accident when I came back to grind. At this point Angela may be one of Nature's Mysteries! Fridays at seven right after the Lance and Janice season 50 finally.

Angela cross is alive confined
I believe it's both an Easter Egg and there's more to tell within the story. They purposely chose that name because it's the most known character in the franchise that's still has a lot of questions and what they did with that quote Rivet said brings even more questions. Our Angela could have been undercover because she doesn't have her tail. So Rivet could have been fooled for her disguise and having no tail. That's my thought and theory. Do you guys agree or disagree.
There is also all the Megacorp logo's throughout the game as well. But how did Megacorp make its way to the Poralis Galaxy in Rivets dimension?
Angela wearing a disguise could very well be it! She was running away from Tachyon... question still remains though. If she already fled our dimension, why keep the disguise? Unless she didn't want people to confuse her for Rivet?

@@jordanread5829 alternate dimensional version of Megacorp, it's likely one of the last surviving companies to still exist under the wrath of Emperor Nefarious, since there's some lore stating that the Emperor took out other Villains to remain on the top, there's even the Drek Sheep which is likely that dimension's version of Drek that got defeated by the Sheepinator like in the 2016 movie from Nefarious. Edit also just anyone that stood in the Emperor's way of power, so heroes, villains it didn't matter as long as he kept his throne on the top.
I actually came across this line, when I was going for the last trophy I needed to platinum the game. (The teddy bears trophy) So, I was caught off guard by this, since Angela has not been mentioned, since Going Commando and the comics. I think this line might just hint at Angela finally coming back in the next game. With Max Apogge likely making his first on screen apperance, after all this time.
Angela was mentioned in a crack in time in similarly hidden dialogue. It is revealed that she was with Max Apogge but has gone missing alongside him. Implying that Tachyon went after Angela first and Max saved her.
I soooo want to see Max Apogee appear!
I wanna believe Insomnia DOES have plans for Angela in future games. As for how Rivet acts like she never met a lombax before Ratchet, I have a few ideas (with their flaws most likely, but they're just ideas):
1. She wore her thief disguise (or maybe a different one, maybe even a holo-guise) during her time imprisoned at ALL TIMES. I say this cuz during our visit the inmates found don't wear some sort of prison uniform, so I doubt the guards would've even bothered in un-disguising her.
2. Rivet could've actually met her but, since it's been a long while, she could've forgot how to interact with a lombax, hence why it was difficult to do so with Ratchet at first.
Now, I do also think it's OUR Angela she was talking about. The proofs are basically everywhere like you pointed out. Sure, there was all the controversy surrounding her, but I believe it's now that they have all the pieces to bring her back. Their chance is at hand and they must not miss it!

This sounds like a solid theory and a perfect way to bring her back in a big way, I honestly would love it if some of the PS2 era characters returned like Helga and Big Al.

Possibly both since there's references to both characters in Rift Apart and seem to tease they're gonna do something with them, they could even make it so Angela Cross isn't a true Lombax, but rather an experiment by Megacorp to bring back the Lombaxs, say a clone or a hybrid but the results weren't as great as they had hope so they moved on from the project and noticed how talented Angela was and gave her employment under Megacorp.
Honestly we need a warriors style game to get everyone in the same game, or maybe a comic series.

So Max Apogee and Angela Cross escaped from our (R&C) dimension. They're came across Rivet's dimension (where Angela and Rivet met and spent some time in prison). There's only one thing I want now. Max and Talwyn reunion - please, IG, make at least two people happy in this series. Max also needs to know what happened to Cronk and Zephyr (that they did a good job keeping his daughter safe) and that his daughter is dating a Lombax xd

Insomniac cannot write romantic scenes or relationships. But if talwin does come back something needs to happen because talwin has just been the "female minor character number 3" of the series, without much agency or relevance for the plot. Such wasted potential
@@wile123456 I can't really say the same thing,(though I do understand the point of your comment) but if we examine for a bit, I'd more so say, Insomniac "then" wasn't really big on the whole, romantic relationship thing, outside of Lance and Janice for comedy lol.
But, Insomniac "now" may just be suitable for the job, because remember, IG has an extended family now, some of the ogs are still there (R.I.P. to the ones we lost) but a lot new people have joined too, plus new writers as well, like the ones for RA.
If IG does bring Talwyn along for the next adventure (which they obviously should) maybe the new kids can do something for Talwyn's character, no more standing in the background.
But I'm being optimistic. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have a few theories that Angela is a different breed of a lombax (like with dogs and wolves) and hardly consider to be One, or she could be a secret shapeshifter going to other dimensions (which explains about Rivet not knowing her as a lombax before meeting Ratchet) and exploring with Max Apogee, making Rivet what an actual female Lombax truly looks like.

Qwark went from full on bad guy to full on good guy over the course of 3 games. Yeah Insomniac tried to reboot him into a full on good guy who does one dodgy dealing with the enemy but given that the reboot no longer seems to be canon it's not really worth remembering the reboot qwark.
Good thing you mention the 2 in going commando because in up your arsenal the & sign it flip into a 3 so creative back then.😅

It's very possible that Angela Cross isn't a Lombax or at least a full one, like she could be a hybrid of the species or even a Megacorp experiment in an attempt to resurrect the all but dead species but didn't work as planned and Angela was the result of that experimentation, it's possible her boss Fizzwidget protected her from being destroyed along with the rest of the Lombax experiments, gave her a job and home part of the deal.
My two favorite part about Ratchet and Clank rift apart is how they added Jak & Daxter and Sly Cooper because insomniac always cared about the other two characters on playstation.

I bet, BET, it isn't even the same Angela. Is a TOTAL different character and Insominac is just messing with us.
Or, you know, Rivet didn't though that Angela was a Lombax or she LEGIT isn't a alOmbax and the fact this is even one of the HUGE mysteries os the series is important for her character. Maybe she is a race that RESEMBLE a Lombax, but isn't... OR is a cross breed between Lombax and another alien race, and that's why is neither her or there.
Perhaps Insominac will touch on this subject next game, since it seems the story is aimed at FINALLY finding other Lombaxes... or maybe it will be about something COMPLETELY different and once more were are at left hanging :I

There's a very simple way of explaining Angela, her appearance, and the wishy washy way they sometimes count her as lombax. Tithes probably a crossbreed. She's likely a hybrid between a lombax and some other compatible species. Angela has probably been dimension hopping before ratchet got the dimensionator. Seriously as advanced a technology as they make it seem with potentially unlimited universes it's more of a mater of time before other ways of dimension hopping show up.
I mean Angela losing her tail would explain why she was so clumsy in going commando never-seeming to find proper balance and always falling over
I can see 2 options there. I think Angela wasn't a Lombax in Rivet universe or I've got one more explenation. Rivet said that she was there with Angela long time ago. What if Angela was also hidden by some sort of mask? For example she could share with her name but she never shown her real appreance.

I think it was just a fun easter egg for long time fans. I do however really like the idea of the Angela we know not being from either Ratchet or Rivet's dimension/universe originally.
A bit off topic (sorry about that), I really think it would be for the best of the Ratchet & Clank series if there were all kinds of Lombaxes from across the omniverse. Not only would this prevent confusion and the writers from having to retcon stuff, but it could lead to some fun story ideas, especially with the next game likely being about Ratchet, Clank, and the others going to the Lombax dimension.
Along with that idea you posted some time ago of Ratchet meeting an AU version of Kaden and my idea of Rivet having a subplot where she tries to find HER Lombaxes while in the Lombax Dimension, we could get a storyline where we find out Angela comes from a universe where the females are taller then the males and they live on colder planets, but ended up in Ratchet's universe by accident till Max Apogee saved her from Tachyon.
Angelas been traveling through dimensions this WHOLE time which explains a lot why she faked her death in the first place

Theory, but with a question, did ratchet know Angela was a lombax? because if not rivet might not know. it could be that its our Angela that travelled to rivets dimension, and the reason behind the tail situation is that because rivet is the equivalent to ratchet maybe in her dimension its the male lombaxs that dont have tails instead.
Based on dialogue from Tools, no. Ratchet did not know that Angela was a lombax. As he tells Talwyn (off camera, Talwyn repeats it on camera as a question) that he has never seen one. In fact a crack in time paints it that Azimuth is the first Lombax Ratchet has met. That scene from Tools is infamous and led to one of my favourite running gags in The Golden Bolt's retrospective of the R&C series up to Rift Apart.
I think it's the same Angela Cross from Going Commando where she flees with Max Apogee, the first place ended up is in Emperor's prison and that's how Rivet how met and free Angela but Angela went by herself to save Max and escape to another dimension. What's that dimension be? That where it may the next game could take place.
And also think Talwyn must reunite with her father Max, to prove that he's still alive.
Like imagine the synopsis/plot of the next game:
"Ratchet, Clank and their friends (Rivet - Kit - Talwyn - Qwark) set into a new journey through the dimensions to find the Lombaxes, only to find themselves in unknown dimension, interacting with new faces and familiar ones and embarking on an adventure that pushes them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible."
A question @VTNVIVI, who do you think may end up the next villain, a fresh one and unique or someone we've seen before?
I do think it's going to be new, formidable and big main villain for this current saga, and I mean by big not in term of size, but in terms as a threat to everyone, terrifying, powerful and throw the whole storytelling saga into new direction and territories, like once he opened his mouth, you get goosebumbs and scared of him. I can only imagine his first lines of his introduction or first encounter between the hero and the villain.
Ratchet: "You prabably making a mistake. Look at me, I'm a Lombax."
Villain: "You're a Lombax…Have I killed you before?"
Ratchet: (Shocked from his response!)
Or some conversations with your allies for example Angela Cross (if she's returning) that she tells how this villain is so terrifying to deal with.
Angela: "He can rewrite history…and shatter dimensions. He's too dangerous to face with."
Or even quotes from the villain to show you he's not someone to mess with.
Villain: "Let me make it clear for you. You will give me what I need…or…Everything you holding onto…Everything you call a life…I know how it ends."
That what I had in my mind ^^
Nice! If Rivet was referring to our Angela, yeah I'd agree with the thought of Angela wounding up in the Emperor's dimension, like a bump on the road to sort of speak.
As for the next bad guy, hmm.... Either bring back Tachyon along with Artemis (comic adds more context), they both could've likely escaped via a rift after the Emperor abused the dimensionator. Or... A brand new villain could be an evil corporation, like an evil Lombax society. Remember when Ratchet asked himself: ''what if they're not what I'm expecting''? They could use that.
It could go any of the three ways we've told on who's the next main villain.
I didn't thought about the "evil Lombax society" part.
It could also could use that with villain (in the direction I took), like in the third act where he tells Ratchet what really happened before, during and post Great War, where the Lombaxes almost about to lose until some of them decide to seek help from the "villain", beliving that he's the only option to end it. After the war, they never even mentioned him or even giving him a credit like a special thanks. This is the part where I said that villain is not someone you mess with. ^^
My theory is that maybe Angela has rare genetics and was born without a tail where as most other male and female lombaxs have tails. I.e she’s a genetic rarity. Like how some people have the ability to raise one eyebrow while some people can’t, or how some people are born with two different colored eyes. As for Rivet not realizing Angela was lombax could be that Rivet grow up hearing storys where lombaxs have tails and no mention that some are born without tails. Maybe their are male lombax like her that were born with out tails,Angela is probably not the only lombax without a tail if my theory is true.
A rare genetic is combine a lombax with a markazian knowing they are two different species, literally the lombaxes are like space cats and the markazians are like humanoids, for it the relationship of ratchet and talwyn is very weird (for me it looks like a human in love with her pet) and also they can't have a family together for the difference in the species
i dont think its necessarily an anternate version of megacorp. it more likely that max apogee and angela cross fled towards rivits dimension and she just started her own megacorp. would be more interesting to see than it just being a dimensional counterpart

@@VtnVivi well i think after the whole proto pet debacle the project got shut down . which is normal tbh, they terrorised the whole galaxy. since she worked on the proto pet and she was concerned that they werent ready. that reall indicates to me that she is really passionate about the project and might have started her own version there since there isnt a counterpart. and well you might as how i know there isnt a counterpart?
well from what we've seen is that the dimensional counterparts are always different in some way: like the pirates being blue and being led by captain quantum and pierre le fer; the morts live on sargasso instead of the kerchu; neferious looking totally different, the zurkons being more sentient this time around (and looking a bit different, but that could be just a redesign)
and the strange part is that the megacorp logo and the protopet just look the same as ratchet's universe: same colors, same design.
I could also imagine them just wanting it to be an easter egg. Like, when you're in zordoom prison in "Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction" they also say various names like "Slim Cognito" (yk the weapon dealer from the ps2 games) or "Ace Hardlight" (from "Ratchet and Clank: Gladiator") as easter eggs. And even tho I would definitely think Insomniac are capable of putting this little secret in the game (maybe also teasing for another game hopefully, cause I think the story of trying to find Max Apogee would be a great game), I also think they would put something like this in there as an easter egg. Either way, guess we have to wait what will happen in the future and this mystery thingy is exactly what I love about the Ratchet and Clank Universe :D
When I heard that when playing. I just stopped, started laughing, put my controller down and started rubbing my temples because of how headache inducing this is.

Maybe the protopet bit off Angela’s tail and maybe that’s how she found out it was dangerous and decided to make the helix-o-morph to fix it.
Could be the one we know, maybe she got separated from Max while dimension hoping and spent some time in ZP or could be a alternate version of her all together. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Fun fact: while Lombaxes may look and sound like a mix between a lemur and a cat, they're actually related to neither and they're closest relatives are civets and mongooses. 🤔
It's possible that the news report on Lombaxs is merely an assumption based on what little evidence they had. Considering how impossibly rare it is to come across Lombaxs in this series. Angela may have had a tail a long time ago but lost it in the line of duty, given her profession.
I think the news station got it wrong about female lobaxes not having a tail. I think she lost her tail at some point, which would explain why she is extremely clumsy. In the comic, Zog said that Max Apogee "fled this dimension like a coward, all to save a lombax he barely knew" I think that it might have been Angela. This most likely took place after Going commando, since we are introduced to her in that game. Assuming that its the same Angela that Rivet meets, it has to have been recent since her and Ratchet are probably the same age, and the only other lombax we meet in that entire dimension is Alister Azimuth.
Just my thoughts after watching this video.
I think Angela got her tail ripped off by an experiment, got it back later, but she attached it to her head like a ponytail. If the Angela that Rivet meets was Angela Cross from either her universe or from Ratchet's, maybe she had the same event happen to her tail in both universes. Which would make Angela not look a Lombax in Rivet's point of view.
I just thought of this, no one ever thinks "what about species hybrids?" I've heard people say that she might be a hybrid between a lombax and a cazar (or just straight up a cazar that has a different fur colour), but then you realise that both species have tails. But what if she's a hybrid of a lombax or cazar and whatever species Edwina (the mechanic who gives you the hydropack on Hoven in the 2002 game) is? Because as far as I remember, Edwina also does not have a tail. Or, hell, maybe she just is that species with a different fur colour and pattern.

I think they should make Angela a hybrid. Half lombax, half something else.
I made the same video on my channel. It is in Italian (you can use the subtitles I think) but more or less we get the same conclusion. Same name doesn’t mean same character. I also talk about who could be the next villain after Rift Apart and about the Lombax of the audio. BUT if that Angela was the same of “Going Commando”, there is a possibility that Rivet meet her knowing her name but not her face (wearing the mask as the beginning of Going commando or simply guide her in other ways never showing her).
Angela wearing a mask, not necessarily the unknown thief mask, could be likely! She did try and run away from Tachyon afterall.
@@VtnVivi i think that the next villain for the sequel will be Clunk. I explained in my video why: similarities with Clank and Rivet, maybe this time could be the Clunk from Rivet universe (with a different origin story).
I've played almost all the R&C games (except the spin-offs) but I still like the 2002 R&C the best
The IP has a history of 4th wall breaking, this would definitely be a reference to Angela from the 2nd game, and while it is annoying that it breaks the canon, these games are more about having fun then serious lore
I don't think a lot of thought was put into it, at most it could be Rivet spin-off prequel bait but personally I feel like there isn't much if anything to it
And what if, taking into account the different dimensions and different appearance of the tails of the two characters (Ratchet's tail is lion-like, while Rivet's more fox-like) the controversy related to inaccuracies can be avoided. Plus it would give an interesting picture of the Lombax dimension as a melting pot of supposedly similar but differing characters. (I know I'm not explaining which Angela met Rivet).

I personally like to believe Angela may have used her thief disguise when with Rivet- considering Rivet had a disguise herself in the opening scene. To explain the tail thing, I like to believe Rivet is trans and she just didn't want her tail removed.

You took a long time to review this. Well i think this easter egg makes no sense at all cuz Rivet was pretty surprised when she knew about Ratchets existence and when she finally met him she was shocked. Why Rivet never mentioned Angela to Ratchet.
As for why she never mentioned her to Ratchet, most likely she thought it wasn't relevant really.
I hope they go with this storyline because it'd be such a easy way for Angela Cross as well as Talwyn and her dad to make a reappearance in the series, guess we'll have to wait and see where they go with this!

The tail/no tail situation is not nearly as important to mention as the fact that Angela's existence itself creates a plothole. If she exists and if she's a Lombax, why Ratchet never acted upon this knowledge in the light of no other Lombaxes existing in his reality? Why it happened in her debut game is obvious. The plot point that all Lombaxes ran away from Ratchet's reality didn't exist. That was only retconned later in Tools of Destruction. And why Ratchet never mentioned Angela in the Future saga, and especially why he never decided to look for her as a lead to what was happening in the actual plot... Well, I think it's obvious that the writers forgot about her when they came up with the plot point that Ratchet is the only one.
But this situation in Rift Apart is... Insomniac trolling us. Because now it's post retcon, and they can't make excuses that they forgot about her, when they mentioned her. And what's worse... They not only didn't explain the plothole why Ratchet never bothered to Ask Angela where she comes from and if she knows a way to the other Lombaxes or if she ever tried to search for them. They now introduce a new plothole of the same happening with Rivet. In one game, Rivet mentions she never met another Lombax before, and then she mentions that she knew Angela. Again... They not only didn't need to have Rivet mention Angela. They didn't need to have her mention that she never met another Lombax either (or how she literally put it). The fact they did both in the same game clearly tells me they are just trolling and they never intend to explain anything.
We thought they'd explain it in Rift Apart. But then they added completely new stuff that instead of explaining it only complicates the explanation further. I am pretty sure the new game will again introduce a lot of new stuff that we cannot even speculate about, and will contradict everything again.
Something brought up in the comments, which could work at least in Rivet's case... is a disguise. Angela could've worn a disguise and Rivet only knew her by name. As for the overall plot of the series, YES absolutely; the concept of other Lombaxes wasn't a thing during the PS2 era. If they do somehow manage to explain why Ratchet never brought up Angela, that'd be amazing!
@@VtnVivi Hm... Yeah, if Angela wore her mask as she did in Going Commando the whole time, maybe that would explain why Rivet didn't know Angela was also a Lombax. Though it's a bit weird that if they imprisoned both of them, they would let Angela to keep her mask. But well, I could see a thing like this happen in this franchise. Characters do not act with too realistic of an attitude here. Especially the bad guys.

To be honest. I thought Angela had a tail. It was behind her head. I know that sounds werid, But that was the impression I got from playing Going Camando.
You know, I thought of that when I was younger O_o
I mean... Ratchet acts like he's never met another Lombax in TOD when he clearly has, so maybe Rivet acting like she's never met another Lombax just mirroring that situation. Or maybe, just MAYBE, Angela is a long lost member of a species that allows them to make others forget about meeting them at all?!
...or the most likely answer is that it's just an easter egg with no story purpose. Wouldn't put it past Insomniac.

Which is the sector Max Apogee's ship was found in Polaris? Do we get a chance to explore said sector in ACiT? Was the ship headed to Jasindu or from Jasindu?
Also the mysterious character Mags which was tasked by Kaden to map all the dimensions, is it possible that Mags is/was Max Apogee? Mags would have to be young and a friend of Kaden's since he mapped the dimensions oh so many in-universe years ago. My theory is that Mags found the perfect dimension the Lombaxes could flee to and went with them after Kaden was left with the dimensionator and Ratchet. Perhaps that could explain why Max Apogee is missing ever since we first met Talwyn in ToD?
As for Angela, my theory is she stayed in Bogon until Tachyon came to power and found her so she fled and disappeared from Max Apogee's ship. Where she is, I don't know. Maybe Max has a dimensionator of his own aboard his ship which she might have used as a last resort and maybe she's with the Lombaxes?
from memory, Max's ship was found orbiting Jasindu.
Apogee's starship was on autopilot with place of origin Jasindu (planet explored in Tools). Mags is definitely a topic for a future video, there's questions to be asked there too :)
I don't really see this as anything more than an easter egg, likely to playfully poke fun at the people who do tend to dissect the story and lore. But I'll be more than happy if I'm proven wrong and Angela does show up again. I mean the next game's story has only one way to go from here and if they really want to solve the whole "Angela discourse" once and for all then she kinda has to.

Now that I hear something about female lombaxes things are starting feel weird about Rivet and Angela why does Rivet have a tail and how does she know Angela if female lombaxes don't have tails? What ever has being going on in Rivet's dimension during Ratchet and Clank 2? Did Angela come if Rivet's dimension while escaping from ever ending up in Ratchet's dimension right after she lost her tail just like Clank losing his arm?
Tell me about it! Unless this is a scenario where other dimensions have different anatomies, Angela could've potentially lost her tail during an experiment.

@@VtnVivi me 2 and I would love to see Emperor's Assistant use a dimensionator to like bring old villains such as Chairman Drek, Stuart Zurgo, Luna, Allister Azimuth, Gleeman Vox, Loki Master and even Emperor Nefarious back to life I am not sure if Emperor Nefarious is still alive in the dimension that the Kraken dragged him into maybe when the Kraken saw The Emperor he/she didn't eat him because robots probably wouldn't be his/her thing to chew on because there to metal for his/her teeth. 🦷 A villain who didn't die that Emperor Nefarious and his assistant could team up with is Vendra Prog by breaking her out of jail. 🔒👮♂️👮♀️🚔🚨 Captain Slag could return with a new body of his to join the old villains where ever he is after him wasn't with Rusty Pete in Rift Apart. With all those villains together in a group that would be cool they could have brand new villains joining this group aswell. Seeing as Dr. Nefarious returned to Lawrence to meet his family after the defeat of Emperor Nefarious it is likely that Dr. Nefarious, Lawrence and His Family could join the good side and help stop the villains from taking only the whole dimensions
Talwin isn't ratchets girlfriend when they've had 0 romantic scenes and done zero flirting in any of the games. Insomniac writers claiming that she is his girlfriend is just a self report on how bad they are at interacting with women xP
I've always imagined that since Ratchet's never seen another Lombax (or knew about his origins at the time) before Going Commando, he wouldn't have recognized Angela as one. With Rivet, I feel like this is probably the same case. Sole reasons being the lack of a tail & much smaller ears. It's most likely why Rivet recognized Ratchet as one right off the bat (on top of realizing Clank was telling the truth), 'cause he looks similar to herself.
