Their new bass is Matt Sallee. He joined in 2018, so by now, he's not really "new". Matt has a wonderful rich, warm voice and fits in so well with his happy, loving personality to a group that considers itself "family".
More suggestions: Imagine ( do the official video, since there are visuals you should not miss), Over The River ( feat, Lindsey Stirling), Be My Eyes (original), Mad World, Love Again, When The Party's Over.

Not without music as their voices create the music. It’s without instruments.

Great reaction. It's sad that their bass Avi left. But Matt is the perfect replacement. His low tones are amazing.

I think yes Kirstin the female voice and the only girl the group have, give Pentatonix a different dynamic than Home Free or Voice P, and her and Mitch could sing soo similar that sometimes you dont know who is singing, they are for me the Best acapella group but Home F and Voice are great for me is just that I like more the styles and the song that Ptx does, I also like that they give time to all too shine, they cant do that in all the songs, but in their show Kevin the beatboxer and celloboxer have his moment, Kirstin, Mitch, Scott, too, and Matt too, and they have also very good original music

You’re right, when it’s PTX, you know it’s going to be good. If you scan their catalogue and see a song you’re not particularly fond of, pick that one and listen to it. Chances are you’ll like the cover. A gentle clarification: The female vocalist is always Kirstin, although her look changes quite a bit from video to video. It’s always her and it’s always Mitch. Avi to Matt as bass has been the only change. I enjoyed your reaction, thanks. Peace …

My favorite parts were the second vocalist part, the female vocalist part, and the background music of do-do-do-do--do (sounds like that).

Mitch is the 2nd vocalist, Kirstin ( rhymes with thirstin') or Kirstie (rhymes with thirsty )is the female.

Scott just got married. Scott, Kristen and Mitch have known each other since they were 8 yrs old. Mitch and Scott went out for a while. Kevin has been there since the start and has got married and has a baby boy. Matt came into the group when Avi left. Avi left on good terms from the group and I think Matt hassle slotted in nicely. 🙏💕❤️

Would love to see what you think of both Scott's first solo album Parallel and Mitch's solo stuff as Messer! A lot of Scott's new songs are inspired by his now husband, Mark and they are epic. Mitch as Messer is a whole trip in itself. I may not understand them completely in my head, but my ears and emotions adore them!

I've been an avid Pentaholic (Pentatonix fan) for a while now. My recommendation is to start w the classics first, so PTX Vol. I. Or maybe even start w their Sing-Off covers. That way you can see the band grow and evolve into what it has become today. Doing this will make your perspective of them higher. Because after all, they did win like, 3 Grammys (I think). But all in all, they are seriously so freaking talented and amazing!

Boy, are you in for a treat! They are a fantastic group that started back in high school as a trio - Mitch (counter tenor), Scott (baritone) and Kirtsten (mezzo soprano). When they auditioned for a TV program called “ Sing Off) they needed at least 2 more people to provide a bass and a beat boxer. They found the beat boxer (Kevin ) on You Tube and a friend that became their manager and arranger suggested Avi who had attended the same college as Scott was going to. They were babies then The trio were only 19 years old when they were on the show. Both Kevin and Avi were 3 or 4 years older. When they started did mostly covers of other artists or groups and their renditions have been considered as “upgrades” (taking songs and making them better than the originals). As they have grown they have written their own songs and paired with other artists and even have their own channels on You Tube that gives them a chance to do some of their own music.🥰

Home Free usually has a hard time doing romantic duets due to their lack of a built in female vocalist. I guess they could use two guys but I don't think the Country Music fans that are the base for Home Free would not appreciate it.

"We'll definitely be doing more from them." Is that something one says about a group one dislikes? I think they just have a much flatter affect than most of the other reactors. They were watching very intently through the entire thing
