I really wanted to thank all of you for such the huge response! I didn't think this would rise up in views very quickly. I also want to thank everyone for subscribing to me! Really means a lot. Honestly, my dad suggested that I should react to Pentatonix for the whole entire The Sound of Silence Reaction mix. Since you guys have been asking, I will react to another Pentatonix video this week. I won't say which video, but expect it to be next in line. Again, thank you all for helping me on this wonderful journey!
Put "First time reacting to Pentatonix" in your title and you'll get a few more thousand views. People (me included) love when someone gets introduced to them for the first time. : )
if you want to another comparison reaction....try bohemian rhapsody...by queen and pentatonix....i get it..queen and freddie mercury are rock legends...pentatonix did their cover to it as a tribute to the late freddie mercury....and it may be the finest cover of bohemian rhapsody ever done...plus all instruments are done by their own voices.
And a very special guest instrument, that is completely unexpected, and I'm trying really hard not to give it away!!! And it makes the ENTIRE FREAKING SONG!!
Pentatonix is the most successful acapella group in history. Scott Hoying (tall blonde baritone); Mitch Grassi (shorter guy with dark hair {at least for this video}; counter-tenor with a crystal-clear, higher male voice); and Kirstin Maldonado (mezzo-soprano) were childhood friends from Arlington, TX. They sang in various choirs through the years. They decided they wanted to compete on the singing talent show, “The Sing-Off” (for acapella groups), which aired on NBC. They recruited Avi Kaplan (their original bass) and Kevin Olusola they found on RUclips-where he demonstrated his amazing skill as a beat boxer. (He also is a master cellist; has a degree in pre-med studies from Yale, and speaks fluent Chinese)-Kevin abandoned his pursuit of medical school to join the group. Scott came up with the band name “Pentatonix”, since there are five in the group. They met the day before the competition began, and won it in November 2011. One of the prizes was a recording contract. They all moved to LA, and lost that contract. The record company said acapella “wouldn’t sell”. So Pentatonix started making RUclips videos. One of their first, “Daft Punk Medley”, had a video that cost $400, and was filmed in a kitchen closet. They won their first Grammy for the arrangement of that. They got a new recording contact. Fast forward: they now have THREE Grammys: “Daft Punk” (arrangement); “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” (arrangement); and “Jolene” which they did with the incomparable original artist and songwriter Dolly Parton (for vocal performance). Their albums sell millions of copies; their RUclips channel has had 5.5 BILLION views; and their most popular cover and video, “Hallelujah”, has had 500 million+ views. Their tours are regularly sold out. (I’ve seen them twice in concert). Their routine and schedule is INSANE-arranging; rehearsing; recording; and touring take up enormous amounts of time and energy-they not only have to learn the song and the harmonies, but all the sound effects as well. Avi Kaplan was the bass, and he left the group at the end of 2017-his mom was ill and he needed to stay closer to home. The parting was amicable; and he helped them find their current bass, Matt Sallee (who’s in this video, in the white jacket). If you delve back into the PTX rabbit hole, you’ll find many videos where Avi sang bass. (And Mitch Lost weight and changed his hair-and Kirstie has changed her hair as well!) Matt has officially been with PTX since early 2018. Not bad for a group that wasn’t going to make it! Mitch has said he was bullied for having a high voice. I think the fact he’s now a millionaire has hopefully lessened some of that sting! Be aware. We Pentaholics are a loyal bunch. We defend all things PTX, and most of us have followed them since the beginning. When Matt joined PTX, he said it was a “dream” of his to join PTX-so Scott has said Matt is proof dreams can and do come true!!
Wow, thank you for the information. I knew some, but I did not know all that was PTX. I appreciate you spilling the beans, so to speak, I love this group!
What a loving tribute to PTX. You only missed one thing.....Superfruit, that fun and crazy sub-group with Scott(blond baritone) and Mitch(brunette tenor)😂
Welcome to PTX. You should have seen the look in your eyes! Your face lit up and never stopped until the end. Please do more PTX. They have tons of stuff on RUclips and I hope you do post all your reactions. “Hallelujah” and “Imagine” would be great to do next. Subbed!
i thought his jaw would hit the mic and his eyebrows crawl off the top of his head. i kept thinking 'you need to breathe, you need to breathe' . . . 8) it's great to see new people discover the magic that is PTX!
Your facial expressions when listening to Pentatonix's cover of one of my all-time favorites was priceless! 😂 that's probably what I look like as well when I first heard it. The lyrics in this song have always come across as deeper than the surface for me. And the visual references created by the words make me feel like there's something profound here. I just always felt like there was a message in these lyrics that was intended by the original artist to wake people up to something. Even though I'm a Pentatonix fanatic I was nervous to listen to their cover because I loved the original and I loved Disturbed's version. I was afraid I was going to hate what they came up with because it has been done right the first time and then improved on by Disturbed! I was pleasantly wowed by Pentatonix's version when I finally got the nerve to listen. I don't know why but I always get chills in one part of their cover. I need to listen and HEAR what's going on to see if it's chills being created with sound, or if it's the visual emoting Matt is displaying so strongly during that part in his solo? I really enjoyed your reaction and I like that you I watched all three of them. I am going to go check out the one I just saw you dropped a little bit ago in case it's the one you mentioned you might do with Pentatonix alone. Thank you so much for reacting! I subscribed. Have a really, really good day or night depending on where you're at!
I heard someone (wish I remembered who so I could give credit where it is due, but alas) describe the 3 versions of The Sound of Silence as follows: The Simon and Garfunkel version is a warning. The Disturbed version is rage because the warning was ignored. The Pentatonix version is sadness that the warning was ignored, but also hope that one day it will be heeded.
That would have been me. Wish I could remember which reactor I commented on. Been looking for it for ages. My original comment was 'an analogy' (as proof that it was me). People keep misquoting it, but hey, I didn't copyright it. In a way, it's nice the comment hit home with so many people.
To both of you: I can only wish that it was me who had so elegantly - and perfectly - placed the three versions. Simon and Garfunkel bring back so many GREAT memories and Disturbed might be a little heavy, but there's no denying the talent he has. But Pentatonix left me as gape jawed as everyone else. I still cannot get by a night without listening to a 'first reaction' or two, but each time it is this version that will be the last thing I hear at night.
Your reaction to Pentatonix was everything! Daft Punk Medley!!!! Please please please 🙏!!! You will see just how amazing PTX is! It won them their first Grammy.
Normal reaction...jaw drop, can't speak, chills, mind blown, yeah, PTX does it with every song they cover! They have an amazing ability to take a song, make it their own, and almost 100% sounds better than the original!
Well now you know! You won't be disappointed with any of the Pentatonix videos. They are nothing short of amazing. Plus the PTX fanbase is known to be the nicest anywhere. (Just sayin'.)
You just witnessed the magic of Pentatonix and there are more to come. I saw another commenter say to do a Queen/Pentatonix double feature of Bohemian Rhapsody. Not as a comparison, but just to see how Pentatonix honored Queen with their a capella version. It is mind-blowing.
Thanks for the great reaction. You have stumbled upon one of the best vocal groups of all time in discovering Pentatonix. If you delve into their story it is amazing. The 3 main singers all grew up together in Texas. They formed the band to compete in an NBC talent show called "The Sing Off" in 2011. They won and after a couple of bumps in the road, became Grammy (3) winning artists and have sold millions of records. All the members have strong vocals. But they are the finest example of the phrase "More than the sum of it's parts". Together, as you witnessed, they SOAR. I hope you react to their other performances. They have almost 10 years worth of material. Any and all performances are amazing.
Also, we Pentaholics are very loyal, I have shared your reactions to Pentaholics and Pentatonix Fan Group, both pages on FB. When we find a reactor we like, your Sub numbers will rise quite quickly. You most likely will break 1,000 by the end of Sunday. Looking forward to your next reactions, PS, you mention yur dad pics, bring him on to react to Imagine!
This. This RIGHT HERE. This was my reaction earlier this year when I discovered this group. I HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING EVEN CLOSE TO THIS GROUP. I honestly didn’t think something like this could exist. I have heard acapella groups plenty. (Home free, Voctave, etc) Nothing I’ve heard holds a candle to this group.
You said, "Acapella?" and I giggled - He's got no idea what's about to happen!!! And your slack-jawed expression for the next 2 and half minutes was priceless. Welcome to becoming a Pentaholic. Look forward to more of your reviews.
Your response to PTX just made my night after one hell of a long day!!! I do hope you check out and react to more of them! I won't even try to give suggestions - scroll through their RUclips and find something that grabs your attention! I guarantee you will never be disappointed!
To update everyone: Although I’m glad that everyone had enjoyed this reaction, one person did point out that the Disturbed version wasn’t added in this video. So to make up for the correction in the mistake, I will be uploading the entire Triple Play Reaction video. If anyone would like to watch that video, you’re more than welcomed to.
It's crazy to try and do any and all comparisons. There are at least three other covers of this song that I know of and probably a bunch I don't know. You could drive yourself crazy trying to cover all the covers LOL
I was surprised you asked, this is a capella? Thought you knew...that makes it even more special! Havana is an awesome song too! The beat and music (or voices) is amazing. Your reaction was 'jaw dropping'!! Thanks!
Hello Uncle Jon: First, I watched both this reaction and Hallelujah last night, but did not grab my keyboard so sending this now. Your reaction is typical of a first time viewer. Loved watching you it was awesome. At one point I said to myself, if there is a fly in his house he will swallow it when you were so stuned by them. Wait till you get to Bohemian Rhapsody. I would like to recommend that you to all 14of the sing off performances pretty early on, that way you will get a true understanding of how 5 college students (3 of them only 19) though caution to the wind and went for it. Terrified and excited all at once. You can truly appreciate where they are now if you see where they came from. And, if you have not heard how Sony screwed them over in the beginning, I am sure someone can fill you in on that. After you get through those, you have an AMAZING catalog to listen to, also the following Superfruit (Mitch and Scott - Must Listen song GUY.EXE and RISE, then Kevin (KOVER must listen to True Colors and Avi Kaplan (Must Listen too Change on the RIse) and Kristin has her seperate chanell slso (Must Listen too - A duet covering Disney Princess). PTX has done Imagine with a very important message in the song. Grab Tissues. This rabbit hole runs deep, but we Pentaholics will keep you safe and heading in the right directions. There is no known cure for the disease known as Pentaholic's, but who really wants one?
i think they are all incredible for different reasons. Each group has these amazing voices and strengths. Disturbed and Pentatonix each brought something different to their version. But both are very powerful.
@@UncleJon I not only have 3 nephews, 2 grandnephews, and 2 grandnieces, but a colleague and friend has 5 young kids who call me Uncle Jon. (In that spelling... and it's not short for Jonathan.)
Wow! Loved your reaction! And the gob smacked look you had with PTX’s cover❣️. That is the effect they have on people. Thank your father for all your new subscribers including me! Here for more PTX❣️
Welcome to the new world of a capella. When you are finished (which is close to impossible) with reviewing Pentatonix (they don't have 3 Grammies for nothing) try some Home Free (Man of Constant Sorrow). These 2 groups have rewritten the book on a capella worldwide.
Welcome to the family of Pentaholics! We love seeing folks when they listen to PTX for the first time. They have yet to do a mediocre song...they are simply phenomenal! Take a look at "Come Along"
Okay, this is my favourite reaction video ever! Your face.... as you kept watching Pentatonix, you looked like a little kid on Christmas Day! I think every Pentaholic remembers their 'first time' as well - it's an incredible feeling, isn't it?
What you have to do is remember the context of the time when these various versions were made. Paul Simon is the author of this piece of music history and he was in the genre of Folk music back in the sixties. It is a protest song, a warning of the dangers of people tuning out to the world and their fellow human beings. A warning of what happens when people do not engage. David Draimon's/Disturbed's cover of this is out of anger that the warning laid out by Simon and Garfunkel in 1966 has been ignored. It is a song of frustration and anguish and a call for people to shape up. I feel like Pentatonix's cover is more of an homage to Disturbed's rendition and sort of, "Hey folks, y'all need to speak up, and you need to hear each other." IMHO
Disturbed's version had things that Pentatonix's version didn't. I love Pentatonix, I'm a true Pentaholic, but I can certainly see where people prefer the Disturbed version, too. They, Disturbed, had an emotionality that Pentatonix lost. Pentatonix had a technically correctness that Disturbed lost. Both of them are truly great versions of the song, and you can't really go wrong with either of them. If you're looking for more classic songs to react to from Pentatonix you can always check out "Imagine" from John Lennon or Bohemian Rapsody* by Queen, both of which Pentatonix covered VERY well. They do things in Bohemian that are absolutely amazing for an acapella group. I will warn you, though, that "Imagine" is a bit emotional. Fun reaction. Thank you for doing this.
I think you need to listen to more Pentatonix. Their version of John Lennon's Imagine could blow your mind as well. That one features their original bass, Avi Kaplan, whereas Sound of Silence features their new bass, Matt Sallee.
Even seasoned Pentaholics can't take it all in in one viewing :D. I usually watch or listen to their new songs one for the overall feel of the song and then at least five times, to pay attention to each member and what they're doing :D. Definitely subscribing. Loved this reaction!
You found the way to get your views, likes and subscribes to swell! Pentaholics love watching people become one of us! If you want a thorough grounding in the group, I’d recommend reacting to their Sing-off performances. It shows how they grow as a group into the lovelies that they are now - but the low voiced gentleman who sang third only joined the group in the last three years. The original bass is the lovely Avi Kaplan. We all miss him, but also appreciate Matt’s talents as well. I also highly recommend watching some of the beatboxer (Kevin Olusola)’s solo videos. His cover of Marion Hill’s down is amazing.
If you are just hearing about Pentatonix, I envy you. They have so much to watch that is so amazing. Definitely check out their other music brotha. If you don't, you're missing out. And it's 99% a capella.
You have no idea how my heart jumped when your jaw dropped! Please, do yourselves and us a favor and react to more Pentatonix! I'm subscribed--and I hardly ever do that until I've watched at least 2 videos. Thank you for making my day! (BTW, I'm from the Simon & Garfunkel era. They didn't want all this percussion and big production. They were folk singers. Later live performances do the song more justice. Disturbed and Pentatonix both have brought S&G to the attention of another generation.)
Pentatonix is a whole new ride! just subscribed, you really should react to their cover of Bohemian Rhapsody, it will really blow your mind. There has only been one change in the group in all these years and that is the bass. In this video Matt(the guy on the left who sang third) is their new bass. IN their older videos Avi is the bass, Kirstin and Mitch change their looks a lot but they are in all of them. Have fun on this journey
PTX never disappoints! Pick an artist & they’ve probably done a cover. Many, arguably, better than the original. I mean, who can compete with 3-5 part harmonies? They honor the original while putting their own twist on it. Welcome to the Pentaholic rabbit hole! It’s a wild ride! Fun Fact: Kevin, the beat boxer, also plays the cello & it shows up from time to time as an additional layer of harmony!
This was most exciting reaction EVER!!! This song gives chills, but my chills had chills watching your eyebrows up and your chin down!! I’m going to watch this again. THANK YOU!!!!!
I love watching the first reaction to PTX! It's always a fun time 😝 Lots of great things to hear from them, and I can't wait to see what you think of them! Welcome to the pentaholics! But warning.... It's a very easy thing to go down the rabbit hole of PTX and not come out for hours.... 🤣
Hahahahaha! I’m watching this months after you posted it - you could not fake your open mouthed, slack jawed, lost for words reaction to Pentatonix! That, my friend, is PRICELESS!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤗
OMG I want to take a screen shot of your face when you were listening to PTX and use it as my desktop background!!!! Pure delight, I loved it! Wonderful reaction, welcome down the rabbit hole, listening to Pentatonix is addictive which is why fans are called Pentaholics. Enjoy :)
@@UncleJon I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see you react to Home Free - The Butts Remix if you ever get the chance. Another amazing acapella group! Not as "Angelic" but a great group of goof-balls I think you would love! Please consider it.
This appears to be a true/real first time reaction. Often this isn’t the case. Great job. I really like that you did three groups doing the same song. Very good
I loved watching your reaction to PTX in this video! I’ve watching it 4 times now! I know that if I ever have a day where I’m feeling down and need a pick me up, I’m going to come back to this video and watch your reaction again and your radiating happiness will lift me back up. Such pure joy!
So far you are one of my favorite reactions to Pentatonix covering this song! Your mouth was open THE ENTIRE TIME 😂 and the dancing and smiling at the end! Definitely one of the best!
One of the things I will say about PTX is if they DO do a cover....they either do it just as well as the original or better....anything less is NOT PTX...
I absolutely loved your reaction. When they all came out and you so innocently said "a capella?" I was thinking " bless him Father for he's about to be blown away." And your smile contined to grow as each one sang their part- then Iwas thinking - is he breathing?
I think my mom or one of my aunts used to play the original when I was little - it was already over a decade old by the time I was coming up, but I remember it fondly. The joy on your face when you reacted to PTX made my heart smile. Thank you for making my night! New sub!
Honey you did not close your mouth the entire time PTX was on! Buckle up and go for many more PTX, my beautiful angels!

The power of Pentatonix
Can't wait bud

Put "First time reacting to Pentatonix" in your title and you'll get a few more thousand views. People (me included) love when someone gets introduced to them for the first time. : )
Sadly people are putting this in every reaction, as in first time listening to PTX, such and such song.
was just thinking this
Me too!!! My son thinks I’m crazy for how many I watch.
YES SAME!!! i had to actually scroll back in your uploads to find your first PTX experience!!
Facts
That’s why they have 3 Grammys
That should have 5!
One for this song and one for Amazing Grace.

I second this request!!!
Yes.... do a review of Pentatonix cover of "Bohemian Rhapsody"... yes. DO IT! :-)
Well make it also a 3 part one and take Og3ne ( ogeene) with 3 sisters Queen themself posted there cover on Instagram...
just they have Avi in this cover who was later replaced by Matt, so don't be surprised by that.
And a very special guest instrument, that is completely unexpected, and I'm trying really hard not to give it away!!! And it makes the ENTIRE FREAKING SONG!!
PTX can turn every song into their song but they also have original songs their DAFT PUNK medley and original LOVE AGAIN will amaze you

PFG is where I heard of Jon. Thanks Marty.
Jaw dropped the whole time - yup, that's the appropriate reaction to Pentatonix! Their covers of Bohemian Rhapsody and Imagine are also incredible.
That stunned, speechless, deer-in-the-headlights look after experiencing Pentatonix for the first time? Don't worry....that's normal.
Amanda W This is what we Pentaholics live for! I’ve got my fix for the day.
To update everyone:
Although I’m glad that everyone had enjoyed this reaction, one person did point out that the Disturbed version wasn’t added in this video.
Thanks!
Loved your reaction to Pentatonix! Imagine and hallelujah by them are awesome!
Definitely plan on seeing those as well!
@@UncleJon yayyyyyyy those are amazing.

Exactly every Pentaholic's reaction when listening to PTX the first time. And ever after.
You, Sir, earned yourself another subscriber.
i think they are all incredible for different reasons. Each group has these amazing voices and strengths. Disturbed and Pentatonix each brought something different to their version. But both are very powerful.
With the promise of more PTX reactions, I have just subscribed! I'm all the happier to do it, as in real life I am an Uncle Jon myself!
Cool deal! And that’s cool to know that you’re an Uncle Jon as well! My first nephew was my inspiration to really make the channel, honestly.
@@UncleJon I not only have 3 nephews, 2 grandnephews, and 2 grandnieces, but a colleague and friend has 5 young kids who call me Uncle Jon. (In that spelling... and it's not short for Jonathan.)
Dude, your face! Lol. That was the best reaction I've ever seen.
Paul and Art sang this with acoustic guitar, the drums and electric guitar was added by the label
I clicked the like button just because of your happy face when you heard the first ptx harmonies
I hearted your comment just because of your nice compliment.
Pentatonix is amazing. What they can do with zero instruments, it is flabbergasting! Great reaction.
Imagine is amazing!!!
Thank you. I had to correct the name of the title as the thumbnail due to forgetting to add in Disturbed’s version.
Welcome to the club! They are amazing in everything they do!
LOL, your face was priceless.
I loved your reaction to PTX. 😁 love finding and watching new reacters find PTX.
:) I try sometimes.
Your reaction to PTX was CLASSIC. If you're going to get on the PTX rollercoaster...enjoy the ride.
I love how your smile just started getting bigger an bigger when listening to Pentatonix! :D
Wow! Loved your reaction! And the gob smacked look you had with PTX’s cover❣️. That is the effect they have on people. Thank your father for all your new subscribers including me! Here for more PTX❣️
Thank you! And I definitely will. He was mostly excited to see the video himself.
Welcome to the new world of a capella. When you are finished (which is close to impossible) with reviewing Pentatonix (they don't have 3 Grammies for nothing) try some Home Free (Man of Constant Sorrow). These 2 groups have rewritten the book on a capella worldwide.
I love to watch a person react to Pentatonix for the first time. They are so amazing. Please keep reacting to them. You will love everything they do.
I love when people discoveres pentatonix, you should react to more of their staff :)
You wanna teach someone the definition of flabbergasted? Show them this video c:
HAHAHA! When I'm truly impressed, I definitely show it.
Welcome to the family of Pentaholics! We love seeing folks when they listen to PTX for the first time. They have yet to do a mediocre song...they are simply phenomenal! Take a look at "Come Along"
Subscibed and hit the bell. Im a pentaholic (the name for PTX fans) and love to see new ppl discover their greatness.
Okay, this is my favourite reaction video ever! Your face.... as you kept watching Pentatonix, you looked like a little kid on Christmas Day! I think every Pentaholic remembers their 'first time' as well - it's an incredible feeling, isn't it?
Ha ha! Loved your reaction. Your jaw dropped to the floor and stayed there the whole time! I watch Ptx!s version a lot because it is so great!
Awesome reaction,I thought ur head was going to explode and I was like breath.
#LoveIt
I was honestly afraid to. I didn’t want to ruin any part of it.
Ms.LaPerry He got me worried there for a moment. I was relieved to see him breathing afterwards.
I thought his cam froze
@@wanita7025 😂😂
Prepare for this to blow up 😂
I love how in the ptx one he was just like 😮
Disturbed's version had things that Pentatonix's version didn't.
To be fair Simon and Garfunkle live in Central Park was even more haunting!
Your reaction to PTX was amazing! 😂 Many of their covers end up being better than the original in my opinion. Excited to watch you discover more!
I definitely plan on watching more of their stuff, for sure.
I think you need to listen to more Pentatonix. Their version of John Lennon's Imagine could blow your mind as well. That one features their original bass, Avi Kaplan, whereas Sound of Silence features their new bass, Matt Sallee.
Your Pentatonix reaction was priceless, really can tell you were getting more and more blown away...and out of breath lol
Even seasoned Pentaholics can't take it all in in one viewing :D. I usually watch or listen to their new songs one for the overall feel of the song and then at least five times, to pay attention to each member and what they're doing :D. Definitely subscribing. Loved this reaction!
Thank you!
Your face frozen in disbelieving, shocked delight for a SOLID TWO MINUTES was just a riot for me to watch XD
I'm loving the look on your face. Grabs you right in the heart, doesn't it? They are a capella group, and always make me want to jump up and shout.
PTX Bohemian Rhapsody and Daft Punk will also interest you. You may also like the their Hallelujah. Your grammar is fine.
I love how your jaw was dropped the whole time pentatonix started singing!! Welcome to the rabbit hole of Pentatonix songs!
The great bass Avi Kaplan, formerly of Pentatonix grew up on this music.
It shows in his music now.
Lots of things u can check from Pentatonix 👌🏽😊
Fun Fact: Kevin, the beat boxer, also plays the cello & it shows up from time to time as an additional layer of harmony!
yes, please react to more PTX! :)
Hi SpaceyDoodle!!
Like the Disturbed version.
Luv the PTX version.
But the original is the only one that's a true classic.
This was most exciting reaction EVER!!! This song gives chills, but my chills had chills watching your eyebrows up and your chin down!! I’m going to watch this again. THANK YOU!!!!!
I think this is one of my favorite Pentatonix reactions ever! 💜
Eeeeek Love this song, so anxious to see your reaction. Onto the video
If you do more PTX reactions, Pentaholics will come flocking.
I wholeheartedly agree with you!
Loved the reaction..... You should listen to Hallelujah and Imagine by PTX... You will thank me later....kkk
OMG I want to take a screen shot of your face when you were listening to PTX and use it as my desktop background!!!! Pure delight, I loved it! Wonderful reaction, welcome down the rabbit hole, listening to Pentatonix is addictive which is why fans are called Pentaholics. Enjoy :)
Go for it! I would do the same thing if I had seen a guy react the way that I do.
@@UncleJon I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see you react to Home Free - The Butts Remix if you ever get the chance. Another amazing acapella group! Not as "Angelic" but a great group of goof-balls I think you would love! Please consider it.
That was the best PTX reaction I’ve ever seen. Your ‘Mitch face’ lasted the entire song! ❤️
Ditto, been watching it over and over, when I see his reaction it makes me beam
Your face through the entire Pentatonix version is AMAZING!!!
So far you are one of my favorite reactions to Pentatonix covering this song! Your mouth was open THE ENTIRE TIME 😂 and the dancing and smiling at the end! Definitely one of the best!
Good comparison video would be Queens bohemian rhapsody and Pentatonix’s version or imagine dragons radioactive and Pentatonix’s version.
You were so not ready for this!! 😂😂
I really enjoyed your reaction (which was mostly 😱 all the time)
I'm going to check your other reactions for sure
Your reaction to Pentatonix, your face, lol, that was great.
One of the things I will say about PTX is if they DO do a cover....they either do it just as well as the original or better....anything less is NOT PTX...
I watch this video over and over again. I just love his reaction!
Thanks for sharing your reaction. Welcome to the Pentaholic world!
I love watching the birth of another Pentaholic life on screen ;)
I absolutely loved your reaction. When they all came out and you so innocently said "a capella?" I was thinking " bless him Father for he's about to be blown away." And your smile contined to grow as each one sang their part- then Iwas thinking - is he breathing?
His reaction the entire video was just like:
👁️ 👁️
👄
I loved watching this!
I think my mom or one of my aunts used to play the original when I was little - it was already over a decade old by the time I was coming up, but I remember it fondly. The joy on your face when you reacted to PTX made my heart smile. Thank you for making my night! New sub!
The words of the prophet are written on the subway walls.
OMG your face, "Accapella?" love your pure Joy here
