This is a more fitting final boss of sunward than Umibozu. He felt more like a gimmick, but this feels like a climactic final battle. The music is amazing, and his affliction gimmick is just enough to set him apart from other bosses! Why has no one made a Raiju skin for M.A.A yet, a little Raiju would be amazing
of all the mods for darkest dungeon, the sunward isles has to be the coolest it's a reference to japan and its yokai, with every enemy being based on some folklore of yokai and the bosses are always unique and fun to fight, and there's many add-ons to it from other modders because of how popular it is custom designs, custom monsters, custom music, basically custom everything best damn mod for darkest dungeon ever
@@KristjanThomasHaaristo oh trust me, like is an understatement also, from this entire fight "unending madness claims this one too..." hits me differently like, the heroes never had to deal with an enemy that can feel what they feel, have those mental limitations like them it just feels awesome
Maybe I’m crazy, but my hellion-with-a-fridge could’ve easily 1v1’d this thing after I gave her Taira’s Blessing (I used it in the middle of the fight because I didn’t know what it did). On the other hand, the level 0 Musketeer I sacrificed finally got me the “5 death’s door hits” achievement because she survived 11 hits on death’s door. I’m not kidding.
This boss is insane, in the good way dou. I love the resolve check and how it does different attacks based on that, 10/10 oh yeah mr. krabs :y EDIT: That DAMN thunder attack man, i survived with only 1 hero :B

Honestly, considering all the mods of playable enemies like the Miller, Handmaid, and the Skeletal Noble or similar characters, I’m surprised we haven’t gotten some version of that with the Raiju. Would be amazing to have something like this in the party, with the unique affliction mechanic and his arsenal

ok the rest of the music is equally incredible as the battle music. keep up the great work. also i recall seeing earlier footage of a sunward lies boss called onamazu. i also noticed he has unique music and that you haven't uploaded it yet. if you get the chance i'd love you to do so. stay safe in these hard times.
Damn that's a swift reply. i feel really bad about not replying to your response on the combat theme about a year back. i was going though some really hard stuff at the time. Also what happened to the other project you ware composing for Swine and Dine can't find anything on it beyond your music. Though i have yet to check the DD sections on various mod sites for it. P.s you may want to create a dedicated playlist on hare for all your projects including sunward Isle for organisations sake.
