But from concerts I have watched (never been fortunate enough to actually see them live) on dvd Till doesnt speak to the crowd or introduce songs. I agree. I absolutely love them and the music. Also, it is so refreshing and encouraging that they are older but still as good. I am the same age as Till, (well, 5 months older), so I don't feel so stupid or too old to be enjoying it. As you say they are loads of Rammstein reactions recently. Good, isn't it?
Also some information on Till's performance since I'm a huge fan of Rammstein and could talk about them all day The light in his mouth originally comes from the music video for Ich Tu Dir Weh and he adapted the idea for this song. I own this whole concert on Blu-Ray (Rammstein: In Amerika), and he quickly loses the feathers and other stuff, it was just for this song which was the opening for the whole concert. The reason he was all bloody in that Du Hast performance was because it came after Mein Teil in the setlist, which I don't want to spoil, but that performance has a certain costume aspect and it's really entertaining. So that's my recommendation, Mein Teil live at Hurricane Festival 2013

In the close up during the bridge, , Till Lindemann is very emotional in his singing because he's refering to who Rammstien is, what they are as band and people: no ego, friends who work and live in harmony, when from good, to worst to great without breaking ups, drama, stardom crisis, total unity. In the music video of Ich tu dir weh, Till (the singer) actually got a hole made in his cheek to have the light and cord in there :D I saw a Making Of, and the band members laughed about him having a drink of water, and he pushed it out of his cheek hole xD

Just bought tickets to Rammstein in Soldier Field Chicago 2022. It's going to be a great year for concerts for me. TOOL floor seats in KC, good TOOL seats in St. Louis. Rage Against The Machine tickets and now Rammstein. Now I just need Babymetal to tour....if they aren't retired now :( Glad I got to see them in KC, Chicago, and L.A. in 2019 though.

The second thing: Flake is afraid of flights. To fight that he bought a piece of a crashed plane, puts it in his luggage and takes with him, because "it's very unlikely that a plane will crash twice". btw, Till makes his hammer gesture because his manager thought it'll be good looking - Till had knee surgeries back in the days, and while performing his kneecap sprang out of place, so Till hammered it back into position and continued the concert. I'm not joking about any of these. Rammstein is unique in many ways.

"Mein Herz brennt" (live at Download festival '16) is one that is not usually blocked (based on how many reactors have it on their channel). Also, "Ich Will" (live at Hurricane festival '16) has a nice crowd participation!! It has subtitles too. /Almost forgot Wiener Blut, Wacken '13! It's haunting and creepy.
They ended up using it again for this year's tour ;-) but it wasn't as effective in an open stadium in broad day light as it was in a dark closed venue back in 2009/2010.
Till has also 2 solo albums. The first album is English and the videoclip Praise Abort is great. The second album is in German and has some SICK videoclips. If you ever going to react on one of those SICK videoclips (Knebel or Platz Eins) do not go for the censored videos. But watch the uncensored version on Reddit (for example). Also the stadium tour from 2019 was incredible. They have a timelaps from their stage on their official RUclips channel. It is HUGE!

And a perfect opening it was in my opinion. 1:57 - Rocking enough to be excused for tooting their own horn? ;D 4:10 - "This man is just onehanding it over here" - No, actually he's playing an another keyboard with his right hand. You can see it in the background at 4:16 for example. 7:14 - "Oh this crowd is so hyped" - Yeah, beeing in Rammstein concert does that to you.. The light in his mouth was originally for ich tu dir weh, but he didn't want the wire feeding into his mouth at the corner of his mouth. He didn't want the audience to see that so he had his cheek pierced and a grommet was placed. It's pretty cool looking. He really committed to the aesthetic he was going for.

One of them wanted to be murdered, be cooked and eaten - the other one was happy to be allowed to do this. I think I remember a story that Till once got his cheeks pierced so they could put the cable through these holes instead of the mouth in the front…
Till had his cheeks pierced so the could pull wires through to achive that light effect. It later got infected so had to let it heal up.
