said it before, wish they go back to opening their shows with this, best opening number ever
There's speculation at the moment that it might be in the new tour set list. They're certainly using it in rehearsals so...
@@fionadowdeswell-simmons4968 you made my f'ing day, feck it..made my whole year lol..please be true..any more gossip Fiona?
Bestrafe Mich and Giftig looking like strong contenders as well. I'd hope that Rammlied would be the opener as it's just so gloriously powerful but I have a soft spot for Reise Reise as well. Still, there's too many good songs and not everyone can be pleased all the time. Angst would be a tremendous choice for the set list as well. 70k fans bellowing AAANGST!! Now there's a thought😉
@@fionadowdeswell-simmons4968 yup, Angst live be so cool..and speaking of 'soft spots' love to see 'Los' make a come back in some shape or form, in fact bring back the whole 'Volkerball' play list lol
your wish may be granted sooner than you think :D
He had it, indeed not anymore due to issues. He apparently 'needs' the pain. Complicated and fascinating guy.
Watch Till Lindemanns performance of *Mein Herz brennt* (My heart is burning) in the piano versioin, where he's singing completely alone with just a piano.
It shows his real talent in musical stereo telling and acting performance
i've been to 3 Rammstein shows. the first song is normally a call and response tune to get every one charged up. you'll never forget what show you're at when seeing them.
Rammlied is just so good. And unbeatable as a concert opening. And okay: the first time you get a little scared... but then comes the huge grin. Just like you 👍😁😊

Thanks for your Rammstein reactions 👍😃 want to see more 🤩
What a fun and thank you. You look so " best buddy " i wanna hug you. LG from Munic, Germasny.

Gross gross Deutchland, viele danke fur Rammstein
The BEST lyrics ever! I have this t-shirt 🥰
After hearing this song, you now should know how to pronounce "Rammstein" as it came as a chorus ever and ever again. 😉 (Your first try before you started the video was quite correct.)
In that concert (MSG) the keyboarder (Flake) started at the end of the song "Ich tu dir weh" with walking (right after appearing with a glittery outfit). 😀
Interesting that you mention Till's clear diction, and that it is something usually to be found among opera singers. To me, Rammstein are pure opera. Songs like "Mein Herz brennt" (piano version) and "Ohne Dich" are very reminiscent of the Kunstlied of the Romantic era (Schubert, Schumann... ). I even once read an interesting article by a rather high brow German media outlet about the similarities between Rammstein and Richard Wagner, emphasizing the Gesamtkunstwerk-idea behind their art.
Would love to see more Rammstein!
My favorite band. Their rights are incredible and their live shows are the best thing you will ever see.
Till has (or had) a hole through his cheek to run the light through - you see it better in the vid for Ich Tu Dir Weh. I know he had trouble with infections so not sure if its still there now
Not anymore
@@CyberBeep_kenshi Iam guessing the Surgeon had a word with Till after it got infected, Iam no expert but a hole in your left cheek wouldn't do your voice any favors lol
He had a piercing in his cheek but it ended up getting infected, so now he just has the cabel for the light going into his mouth from the side of his cheek.
The treatmill comes later. That was an early show.
Of course he had the treadmill, but this is the opening song of the concert and he reveals his glitter suit and treadmill, right after his adventure by the song "ich tue dir weh", is I think the tirth or fours song at this concert.
I'll see them again in 2 months , so excited 😍
I was privaliged to see them last year in San Antonio after waiting 2 years. It was worth the wait.
Check out also "Lindemann". It is a german-swedish Metal Project by Rammstein Singer Till Lindemann & the swedish Musician Peter Tägtgren. The latter played all the Instruments for the Band until 2020. The Band officially existed since January 2015. In November 2020, the Musicians announced the End of the Collaboration and a continuation of the Band under Lindemann's sole aegis. Greets from the Middle of Germany 🦇🤘
Tell me if I'm wrong... is this the first time you have discovered "Rammstein"?... If so, continue your journey in their magnificent universe... you are only at the beginning of your surprises. ..very big and good surprises. They are great artists...And above all, translate their texts + live + videos!.
Paul and Richard are two of the most underrated guitarists in metal.
I like this clip. This song and the live performance is so powerful.
Nice reaction video. Greets from Germany
Hello there. Nice reaction.
German is a very bright, articulated language. That's partly why is sounds so harsh to non-german speakers.
Plus Till Lindemann took 2 years of singing lessons with an opera singer, who herself was educated at the renowned "Ernst- Busch- school" in Berlin.
Just found your channel! Definietly do more reactions to rammstein! There are good ones like Ich Tu Dir Weh, Sonne, Du Riechst So Gut, Engel etc. Thanks for starting with Rammstein!
Rammlied was a very good choice! One of my favourites!

Try to spell Stein like shine and add a T.
Rammstein is special in placing little details and they are using many layers to add depth. You will see it in their official videos and also in the making of videos.
Till is probably only person who can make a butcher's apron, hair net and a feather collar look great!😂

Regarding your statement about the rhythm, there is an interesting statement of the director in the making-of of Rammstein's music video Links 2 3 4. He wanted to cut the scenes in the right beat and the two guitarists and the drummer did not agree on what the right beat is.
The song Links 2 3 4 (Live Bråvalla 2016) is also worth a recommendation.
Try Wiener Blut. A Rammstein version of a waltz. It's not really a waltz, even though it's titled a famous waltz.
No Wiener blut (Vienese blood) is not titled after a waltz, but after the story of a man on Austria near Vienna. (Wiener= from Vienna). He kept his
daughter locked down in the basement and raped her for 24 years. It's not apologetic but Rammstein love to explore dark side of twisted minds.
In the music video for this you can see that Till had a piercing and he'd put the light through that. That didn't last long though, for the shows he does now its just done with a wire.
They've been one of my favourite bands for 20 years and they've been together for around 31 i think. All with the same lineup too. Their live shows are amazing. Hopefully i get to go to more because who knows when they'll stop. Till is 60 and the rest are in their 50s.
Heavy metal opera
👍❤ more Rammstein
Till actually learned from an opera singer for about a year.
Thanks for your educated review, brought to light some interesting facts, the band able tomhave the tempo of a vienese waltz embedded, ghe ban is beyon rock or metal, they perform an acting, sort of part of a modern opera.
Here’s a trick to remember how to pronounce their name: think of the vowel sounds in “warm spine” and use those when saying Rammstein
schau/hör Dir Engel an!
1:22 the boys just wanted to wake you up! (you obviously got a fright lol)
💯
Only Till can enter in hairnets, pink feather boas and an apron and still be macho beyond all limits.
Ramm like Dodge Ram then stien like stine
It is Rammstein, like Einstein. Not like Springsteen.

Till's Lyrics are full of meanings and Double meanings. Parts of them are very special and even some percent of germans find them. E.g. "Sinn und Form bekommt Verstand". "Sinn und Form" is a german Magazin for literature. Made by "overbrained" people for other of this kind . I think Till ist not their best friend.
Rahmm-Shtine ❤
How can it be thier version, if it's thier own original song?
They're not jewish. So for an english speaker it would be something like "Rammshtine".
The Best Band in the Holy World. Greetings from Germany
Saw them live three times, last time this year. I have seen many other rock and metal bands, like Metallica, and they seem like a band playing at a high school reunion compared to this

Make a reaction to Rammstein - Mein Herz Brennt Piano Version, I think you'll love it
Great reaction! There is so much left, you can explore of Rammstein! If you like this song, you´ll love "Ich tu Dir weh" as well (also live from MSG):

Rammstein is a town in Germany where an American airbase is located, the group named themselves after the 1988 Rammstein airshow disaster where 67 were killed .
Ramstein is the town.
According to your mentioning of "clear singing/clear vowels"
That is a special kind of German = a classic pronunciation technique which is called "Bühnendeutsch/Stage German" which has to be trained as like as singing has to be trained and which was developed roughly in the 19th century solely for Theater&Opera performances (= the time when Theatre + Opera buildings started to become huge buildings for a huge audience) in order to get - clearly understood - even in the very back of a huge Theatre or Opera House .You have to take into account that there where no microphones and loudspeakers back then, obviously.
By the way that is also the only reason why he rolls the "R´s" that much...
(sidenote: even Hitler used that technique for all his speeches at the Nazi rallies)
But no native German speaker speaks like that in normal life - or in other words - the German language in general doesn´t sound like that/doesn´t have such a tone like that respectively..only exclusively on stage such German pronunciation is heard.
That's very cool to know. We do the same thing here in the US for opera and stage performances but I never knew there was a specific term for it in German. Thanks!
@@ShawkaReacts Well the German language has terms for absolut everything...in order to explain/translate such specific terms into English often a whole paragraph is needed to explain the meaning because there is no 1:1 translation for English ;-D
I saw them in Atlanta on this tour. It was by far the most amazing live show I've ever seen. I've been to hundreds of concerts, and this was hands down the best.
