Well done everyone! I'm really pleased to hear that I'm not the only one who is always thinking through loads of scenarios! 😀
Nope you are completely normal in our eyes 😁
Brilliant video
Just goes to prove that a good hair cut leads to flashes of brillience... can't wait to see what brilliance Eric will flash now that his head weighs so much less.
😂
Well done everyone!!
Thanks Viv 😊
Congratulations on a great rescue operation! Next time, though, (and I'm being picky here) I think one of the Thunderbirds themes would work well too....
😂 😂
That was almost as exciting as an episode of Hornblower
Unsurprisingly Hugh is a massive hornblower fan so he takes that as a huge compliment 😁
All they needed to do was take the alternator drive belt off then restart the engine
Thanks for the reenactment. I especially liked the rescue music.
There always has to be a tune squeezed in somewhere 😁
Nothing wrong with your hammock [1:33]. All that are missing are the two spreaders of about 20" (50cm), which need to be fitted at each end of the canvas to keep the ends apart, (just like we had in the Royal Navy).
Good idea!
Well done guys. Was your buddy charging lithium batteries with an alternator?
Yes and they had literally just had them installed professionally
@@fivegosailing I've been told this is a no no. Battery draw too high, leading to fire!
Lithium batteries on a boat is a no no
To all those in peril upon the sea seaman will help. Not that is a law just being a human being. I was on TS Royalist Skipper screwed up coming along side he tied a big spanner to the heaving line, I threw it right in a Range Rovers window screen.
That’s brilliant 😂we laughed out loud reading that story!
This was absolutely fantastic, just happy everyone was safe. Great seamanship... .love from the pinchbecks UK 🇬🇧 ❤
Thanks guys. It was a great experience we are so glad we could help.
What kind of Mickey Mouse outfit...
