    Just a tip:
The crash pads on the sides get you: Less scratches on the fairing, but a high chance of a broken frame and engine damage when you drop the bike.
Just have a look at where they are mounted. They are on the frame. And the frame is directly connected to the engine.
Do with that information what you will.

Brilliant video mate. Well edited and really comprehensive review of the bike. Really enjoyed it. One thing that could be cool is maybe covering common faults that can happen on the older bikes. Definitely refreshing to see a motovlogger out there reviewing older bikes for this kind of market. Lovely bike, there's some real gems out there!

These bikes are great value for money.. if you find a good one. I have a ‘98 750 SRAD in my small collection of 90s bikes 👍🏼

I love my srad, it doesn't look in immaculate order but runs like a stabbed rat

I wanted one of these in the 2000s after 20 years off a bike I still fancy one.
    Heard they are uncomfortable.
    I have the thundercat 600 and a J1 zx6r that are reasonably comfy .

I found a big down side to the gsxr 600 was how small it was and how crap and uncomfortable my legs were . Good bike if your a smaller person .

Don’t know your stable thus what you’re comparing it to or I might be out of context. As a person who owns one for 6 years by now thought I’ll throw in my 2 cents, srad has no midrange, a cbr of same era has 12bhp more for comparison. Drive train is sloppy as heck, and if you want to experience the srad, properly, forget about below 10k rpm. I’m 6’3” and I got used to it. Feels featherweight compared to sprint st 1050. And about the same as cbr600 f4. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Only just seen this comment. Yes ofc it has no mid range, it's a 600. If u want mid range get a 750. And all 600s the fun zone is high in the rev range as always.... if thats not your bag then youve bought the wrong bike......You must have had a shit 600 srad. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the drive train. And u THINK the same era cbr 600 has 18bhp more than the gixxer??? So your saying the cbr had 128bhp?? Coz the 98 600 had 110 from factory. Think u might wanna go check your facts.
