I don’t know if it is said in the reactions but the leaking of gasoline out of the hose is a problem of the fuel stop/tap. These tend to break and is easy to change. There are revision sets for that.
Thanks a lot. This was exactly what I needed. My carburetor rinses gasoline into the engine. So I want to check the needle valve and o-rings. (for sure I also need to replace my fuel tap which is broken)
Never use steel wire inside carbs and jets, you will get marks in this micro tubes that will disturb gasflow, it's very important they are smooth inside
Thanks for the vid 👍Did you find the over fueling problem was from the fuel pump/petcock being faulty (which is why you had to put a bolt in the fuel hose @ 3:38)?
I don't know why. I take out carburetor on my gsxr 750 97 and I see gasoline inside in valve. Same body can help me. The bike was parking for 3 or 4 years.
Most likely the reason why you see gasoline inside the intake manifold is because the carburetors flooded. On some motorcycles when carburetors flood the fuel is running out to the ground on some motorcycles it floods inside the engine... many times you have to change the oil because it has gasoline inside it and sometimes the engine won't even turn over until you take the spark plugs out because the fuel is stopping the Piston from moving up ... once you rebuild your carburetors change the oil and spark plugs you should be okay... Thank you for watching my video and please subscribe it will help me out 😊
Never rode or fixed any motorcycle and w the help of this vid i just got my dads 750cc gsx r running without choke on. Thanks alot.
Thank you from 🇬🇪Georgia🇬🇪, I'm gonna disassemble it by myself right now!
Can you show air lines and solenoid how to run
Thank you for the great video. You are also a very polite and calm individual to listen to. I thoroughly enjoyed the information and the tutorial.
Thank you for the wire brush bristle tip on cleaning out the jets on the choke pickup tubes. My choke works like it should now.

Thank you for the positive feedback....
What year is this? It's my understanding that after 2001 all gsxrs were fuel injected
That's true but some were fuel injected in 98 99 and 00 too
Hi great video.
I have a 1999 gsxr srad 600 it has a rough idle when stationary any ideas?? Could this be the carbs?
Many thanks
My 99 750 is fuel injected! Is your 600 not?
The 750s were injected but the 600s were not which was dumb to me
@@rza380. did not know that! Your right that is dumb
I know because I have a 99 600😂
Is the same for a 96 Suzuki katana 600?
Katana 600 carburetors are different and the procedure of removing them is also different ...
I hope you will find a video that would help you
@@DoityourselfMotorcyclerepairs that's the issue I havent seen any and I'm buying 1 tommorow $300 doesmt run sat for a year

Srad carbs are a pain...
Sounds like it’s raining outside your shop.

Thanks you I working at I cleaned my carburetor and spark plug now I have to change oil motor. The carburetor I need to calibrate??
I put back the carburetor. Running only whit the choke only.!! Help please.!
Did you clean the idle jets? They are the smallest ones in the carburetor and if they are clogged up it will only run with choke on
